This update provides the following changes to the program:

• 40 new HART product documents have been added
• 8 HART product documents have been updated
• The ability to e-mail HART documents via e-mail directly from the program has been added using a proprietary online messaging system
• New security features have been added
• New quick access links to technical support and other online utilities have been added
• A licensing extension has been applied

Download Instructions

Please read these instructions before downloading the update.

You must have HART On CD version 1.30 installed on your computer in order to install this update.

To see what version you currently have installed, start the HART On CD program. Then, from the main menu, click "Help", then "About". The window which appears will tell you what version of the program you currently have installed.

Step #1

Click the download link provided later on this page. A window will appear which looks like one of the windows shown below. Find the picture below which looks similar to your window and follow the instructions given.

	Step 1, Example 1 - Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 6 Instructions: If the window that appears looks similar to this one, click the "Open" button on your window as shown below.

	Step 1, Example 2 - Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 5 Instructions: If the window that appears looks similar to this one, select the option labeled "Run this program from its current location", and then click the "OK" button on your window as shown below.

	Step 1, Example 3 - Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 3 & 4 Instructions: If the window that appears looks similar to this one, select "Open it", then click the "OK" button on your window as shown below.

Step #2

While the HART On CD update is downloading to your computer, you will see a "progress" window indicating how much longer you can expect to wait. When the download is complete, you may (or may not) see a window that looks like one of the windows below.

Find the picture below which looks most like your window and follow the instructions given.

IMPORTANT: If you are running a more recent version of Internet Explorer (version 6), then it is possible that you will not see a window below that looks like the one which appears on your computer. If this is the case, that's fine. Just skip this step and move on to Step #3.

	Step 2, Example 1 - Microsoft Internet Explorer - version 5 Instructions: If the window that appears looks similar to this one, click the "Yes" button on your window as shown below.

	Step 2, Example 2 - Microsoft Internet Explorer - version 3 & 4 Instructions: If the window that appears looks similar to this one, click the "Yes" button on your window as shown below.

Step #3

Now, the HART On CD installation program will ask you if you want to install the update. Click "Yes". To complete the installation, just follow the instructions on the screen.

IMPORTANT: Please note that it may take up to 30 seconds for this window to appear on some computers.

	Step 3, Example 1 - Do you want to install the update? Instructions: When this window appears, click the "Yes" button on your window as shown below.

Having Problems?

If you have any problems during the installation process, please try a second time. If things still don't work properly, send us an e-mail and describe the problem you're having. We'll promptly respond to your message, and in most cases, we'll mail you the update on CD ROM. This will eliminate any problems you might have related to the download process.

IMPORTANT: Please do not call us about issues related to this update. We prefer that you e-mail us.

It's not that we don't like to hear from you. We ask this because we receive hundreds of phone calls about the HART On CD program and over 85% of the calls were because users did not read the instructions included with the program. 14% of calls were problems related to the Windows operating system. Less than 1% (that's less-than one in one hundred) of the calls involved an actual problem with the program.

This update has been thoroughly tested with ALL Windows operating systems. If you experience any problems, please allow us to mail you the update on CD ROM. If you still have problems, call us. We'll make sure you get up and running as quickly as possible.

If you're in a pinch and have to get your update installed immediately, then, by all means, call us. We certainly don't want to leave you in a pinch.

Although we've spent many hours helping customers with the HART On CD program, and despite the fact that less than 1% of the phone calls received involved an actual problem with our software, we have never charged a customer for this time.

Although this will change in the future, we are sincerely committed to making sure you're happy with our software. Please help us help you by calling only:

This way, we can focus our time on developing and improving our software rather than teaching people how to use the program or their computer. Our instruction manual is picture-oriented...it really could not be written in a manner that's any easier to understand. Give it a try!
