MMR Vaccine! - A lot's been said, but I'm new here, so- - 02/26/06 09:21 PM
Just thought you may like to see some of this recent article on the subject from a UK newspaper-
Dr Peter Fletcher has just retired after nearly 40 years in medicine and science in the US, Britain and Europe, and was the Chief Scientific Officer at the Department of Health, UK. He has accused the government of "utterly inexplicable complacency" over the MMR vaccine for children.
After agreeing to be an expert witness on drug-safety trials for parents' lawyers, he had received thousands of documents relating to the case which he believed the public had a right to see. He has seen a "steady accumilation of evidence" from scientists worldwide that the Measles, Mumps and Rubella jab is causing brain damage in certain children.
But, he says, "there are very powerful people in Britain and elsewhere in positions of great authority who have staked their reputations and careers on the safety of MMR and they are willing to do almost anything to protect themselves"
Dr Fletcher goes on to say that without the proper reseach he is calling for, health authorities could not possibly rule out fears about the MMR shots, and the "refusal by governments to evaluate the risks properly will make this one of the greatest scandals in medical history".

I have recently thrown a web site together about child diseases, including information about Vaccinations and Natural Remedy alternatives as protection against infection, leaving the choice in the hands of the parents.
But the more I find out, the more I become troubled by what could be the consequences of wholesale innoculation to our young children, who rely on us for their protection and wellbeing. I may well be changing the emphasis of the site, leaning more towards the natural solutions.
