Hi Bex, I am sorry to have to start a new thread here but I forgot how to respond (still suffering w. memory problems so don't laugh). Your reply to my "adrenal syndrome " was superb! You have been an absolute wealth of information on this site to me and sooo many others! Thank you for your knowledge and desire to help us all! You are blessed! Diane Tilson

Hi Dianne, it's a pleasure! And I can't laugh at you for the reply thing, I struggle with symptoms very similar to this and have great trouble absorbing and retaining even basic info or instructions, or even being able to see everything on the same page. As though my mind won't allow me to take it all in. It's odd and distressing. almost like my eyesight is suffering, yet it's actually my brain. So no worries, I totally understand.

"reply" is right on every post you read. Whatever one you want to reply to, just click on the reply that is on that particular post.

I'm so glad the information I passed on was of help to you! I thought it was good too, some wonderful person sent it to me across email (health professional). So it was a pleasure to share that and the website too.

take care!!

Hi Bex, Thanks for the reply. I also wanted to say I understand about the coffee thing. I know someone was kind of teasing you about "coffee again?" and boy do I know that. Struggles for years trying to get off. Was doing great, then decided to have just a "little" green tea w/ caffeine. Its been daily for 5 days or so. Then today I had a diet coke with lunch! I KNOW how bad it is! And it felt great at first and then I just knew later that it was like I was getting hooked back in! Lord help me I pray! Anyhow, know that you are not alone! And you'll get back on track as we know that some of us just cannot do CAFFEINE! Take care, Diane

The aspartame in the diet coke is probably much worse than the caffeine.

I cannot believe it's legal for them to sell that stuff.

You are right about the diet coke and that being worse. I felt like do do for the rest of the day and didn't sleep very well either. Diane

Hi Diane, thanks! Yeah, every now and again I might slip into having a coffee and sometimes I get away with it, other times no. Not worth it of course, but we're all human. Oh yeah, diet coke would be very bad, I would'nt even try that stuff because of the aspartame. I hope you're feeling a bit better now! Very difficult to stick to such a rigid regime, but it's all I have to get me through a day and even then I struggle.

Nice to know I'm not the only one struggling with these temptations. I also stupidly had some salmon around the sametime as the coffee, so who knows which one (or both) is responsible. The salmon may have contained just a bit too many contaminants. It was alaskan salmon, which is supposed to be a much safer one to get, but frankly I don't think I can handle anything!

Now I'm staying away from the salmon too. Seems the only way for me to get omega 3 is mercury free fish oil capsules. Or flaxseed oil, but I have my doubts at times on flaxseed oil....not sure if it suits me that well or not.

Cheers.:)
