Can a decayed tooth kill you, is there any natural cures for an infected tooth.?

Don't quote me... but my personal feeling is yes, it can kill you.... via the infection spreading to your brain.

I had a bad tooth which started my mercury poisoning experience... a dentist ignored... made it worse by doing work on a different tooth while it was infected... I ended up with a really infected tooth and it really felt like not only my toth was infected but like there was an infection in my head.

I had it extracted. It drained and the infection went away after a few days for the most part.. took a few weeks to really clear up completely. I drank a lot of echinacea tea.

Salt water and baking soda is good to keep it at bay, also put hydrogen peroxide on it, it will hurt when you start doing either of those, keep at it. Too bad most dentists won't tell you those simple things... I'm sure they must know... but their wallets take priority, quite a sad situation.

You must get the tooth removed if it's real bad.

I think they can eventually lead to an infection that could kill you. My husband has some issues with infected teeth, and I can't wait to get him taken care of. Hopefully, the dentist that will do my amalgam removal, can treat him, too.

Hi there, healing a decayed tooth has been accomplished before by Dr. Weston A. Price. I am currently doing an experiment to see if it will work for me. The doctor I work with (not Dr Price, but another Dr.) told me it has worked for him and some other patients. So, what you do it get some high vitamin cod liver oil and some high vitamin raw butter (Dr. Weston sells his own brand called X factor Gold) and you take about 1 teaspoon of each at breakfast and dinner, make sure to take them together. I have used it for about a month and just recently went in for a second opinion for a possible root canal and was told that the tooth is now fine. This could be a coincidence, but just in case, I do have two known cavities that I am "working" on. I will update my progress in a couple months when I go in for another check up. Good Luck.

I know a senior who went blind from a infected decaying tooth. This all happened 50+ years ago. She said her dentist ignored the tooth and within a short time her vision disappeared. She has some light perception but cannot see anymore that that. The infection moved from the tooth to her eyes. So I wouldn't doubt that you could die from a decayed tooth.
