Constipation huh? I have it right now badly and haven't gone as much lately! I might need to try that one. It also boosts the adrenals correct?

I have found that licorice root is one of the best supplements to treat constipation. It isn't like senna, cascara sagrada ,castor oil, yellow dock, rhubarb, buckthorn, aloe, and other anthraquinone containing herbs that will let you go but then give you rebound constipation. Anthraquinone can also be dangerous with long term use. Licorice root works very mildly. I also find that if I take around around 300 mg of magnesium at one time(best in the form of magnesium ascorbate) it also helps relieve constipation, especially if I swallow it with licorice root tea. Too much magnesium at once(like taking a few grams at a time that some people do with epsom salts can be dangerous). I don't recommend taking more than 500 mg at a time of magnesium. licorice root also boosts the adrenals and increases bile flow which is crucial for detoxification. Other herbs that can help prevent constipation are dandelion, ginger, horseradish, and cayenne. I also find that MSM helps prevent constipation. To help prevent constipation, make sure to eat plenty of fiber, and drink plenty of water. It is also important to get enough exercise. Licorice root is great! http://www.herbwisdom.com/herb-licorice-root.html

I use Dandelion as well, how dare me not list it in my fave Herbs JK! If I ever get kidney pain from a detox it stops it within the hour and cleanses the kidneys and liver. I use Ginger and some Cayenne already so that will help with constipation. BTW I used some of those herbs in a formula you mentioned and they worked great for cleansing the bowel, but now after using them for months the rebound constipation like you said is there! I think those caused it (Rhubarb and Cascara were in there among other things). I need to get that Licorice though for depression and constipation, sounds like some great stuff I should use. Good lord Russ and JK look at all Olive Leaf is used for! LOL it laps all other herbs in things it can treat it seems. http://www.herbwisdom.com/herb-olive-leaf.htmlTell me it's not great.

I think garlic and licorice root have the largest number of positive effects, but olive leaf and cayenne also do plenty. Cinnamon and turmeric also have many positive effects. I think I will round it out to Tulsi (If I can hang in there for a few days lol), Ginger, Cayenne or Cinnamon and call it a day there! Tulsi leaves from the plant are wicked though, they are so damn strong it's crazy, have to dilute it heavily it seems, and go from there. Licorice is next on my list, then I will call it a day and use most long term. Cayenne makes my blood flow more than most, too many stories here to put on one page on what it has done for me in that area bro, it has literally helped me in a few situations from the tincture I made.

BTW I have two Tulsi plants here growing and I am taking good care of them, too bad I can't send you one and help you grow a few, afterall it is free bro! It is a great herb and so strong nothing has matched it IMO yet! I have not tried a thing this strong yet JK and I am serious! Nothing yet has matched it. I guess the plant is always alot stronger than the dried herb though am I correct there?
I will try to get some seeds from work from my Indian friend and try to send you a few in time if you would like that? You could use those in your house as well, for spiritual if only that if you don't use it.

It does not take much to grow and take care of, plus the plant is always stronger and better than herbs in pill form! I am not into growing them either really, he had little plants and gave them to me, I didn't grow them from the ground up myself.
