UNTO THE LAMB! All praise unto the Lamb who sits on the throne!
This song is absolutely the most beautiful song with the fantastic orchestra in the back ground.
I absolutely cannot get the sound and words out of my mind. We (His saints), will be singing these words to Jesus throughout all eternity! All Praise unto the Lamb! Holy, Holy is the Lamb!
Why not sing along? JESUS IS LORD! JESUS IS CREATOR! (We all will be able to carry a tune while singing unto Jesus!)
Unto the Lamb By: Brian Wing
I can see Jesus, high and exalted, My eyes are fixed upon His face, it shines like the sun.
I can see Jesus, clothed in glory, He is high and lifted up, And His train fills the temple
And all of the angels cry holy, All the saints cry holy, All creation cries holy, Holy is the Lamb
All praise unto the Lamb Who sits on the throne, Honor and power, dominion and praise, Unto the Lamb, who was and is, and is to come!
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [John 14:6]

"..I also saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
Above it stood the seraphims; each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
And one cried unto another, and said, "Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory."
And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
Then said I, 'Woe is me!' for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, "Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged."
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Then said I, "Hear am I; send me." " --
Revelation 5:11-13 ~
"And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
Saying with a loud voice, 'Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing."
"And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever."

"I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
"And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
"And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God.
"Saying, Amen: Blessing and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
"And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
"And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.-
"Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
"Thay shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
"For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.[b]" [/b]

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:5, NKJV
What does it mean to be just like Jesus? The world has never known a heart so pure, a character so flawless. His spiritual hearing was so keen He never missed a heavenly whisper. His mercy so abundant He never missed a chance to forgive. No lie left His lips, no distraction marred His vision. He touched when others recoiled. He endured when others quit.
Jesus is the ultimate model for every person. --------- --

"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it." -- 1 Corinthians 9:24 -
Satchel Paige, the great baseball pitcher, once said, "When you're running a race, don't look back because somebody is probably gaining on you!" If you spend your life looking at others, if you're just running the race for the accolades and the attention that others may give you, you're going to be defeated.
If you look at the devil, you'll to be distressed. Now, I think we need to be aware of the devil and we need to know who he is. But some people get so wrapped up in the devil they take their eyes off Jesus!
And in much the same way, if you look at other people, you'll be disappointed because you'll spend your life comparing yourself to how this or that person lives instead of focusing on how God wants you to live.
But if you look at Jesus, you'll never fail. He's the One who is your true example. So, as you live the Christian life, keep your eyes focused upon Jesus because eternal life with him is the prize at the end of the race!

I grew up in sunday school -- I memorized the Golden rule And how Jesus came to set the sinner free I know the story inside out I can tell you all about The path that led Him up to Calvary But ask me why He loves me And I don't know what to say But i'll never be the same Because he changed my life when He became...
Everything to me He's more than a story more than words on a page of history He's the air that I breath The water I thirst for And the ground beneath my feet He's everything, everything to me
We're living in uncertain times And more and more I find that i'm aware Of just how fragile life can be I want to tell the world I found A love that turned my life around They need to know that they can taste and see Now everyday I'm praying Just to give my heart away I want live for Jesus So that someone else might see that he is...
Everything to me He's more than a story more than words on a page of history He's the air that I breath The water I thirst for And the ground beneath my feet He's everything And looking back over my life at the end I'll go to meet you saying you've been...
You're everything to me You're more than a story More than words on a page of history You're everything to me You're more than a story More than words on a page of history You're the air that I breath The water I thirst for And the ground beneath my feet You're everything to me Lord, you're everything to me!! ------- <http://youtu.be/Ywzlq2AiAuM>

Luke 6:27-36 --- Jesus of Nazareth... went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. --Acts 10:38 - --- Someone once said, "The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway." I like that; it's a great reminder. In the book of Acts, Luke summarized Jesus' earthly ministry by saying that He "went about doing good" (10:38).
What does the Bible mean when it tells us to "do good"? Jesus did good by teaching, healing, feeding, and comforting people. Using Jesus as the perfect example, His followers are called to meet the needs of others, including those who hate them: "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you" (Matt. 5:44; see also Luke 6:27-35). They are to serve their enemies without expecting anything in return.
Moreover, as opportunity arises, His followers are to do good especially to fellow believers (Gal. 6:10). They are not to let persecution, selfishness, and busyness cause them to forget to do good and to share what they have with others (Heb. 13:16).
To be like our Savior and His early followers, we should ask ourselves each day: "What good thing can I do today in Jesus' name?" When we do good, we will be offering a sacrifice that pleases God (Heb. 13:16) and that draws people to Him (Matt. 5:16).
From the example of Jesus, Who went about doing good, We are to honor our Savior By helping wherever He would. -- -Imitate Jesus--go about doing good.

2 Corinthians 6:3-10 --- Let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve...not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother's way. --Rom. 14:13 --- Fault-finding is popular pastime, and unfortunately a lot of us find it's easy to join the fun. Concentrating on the warts of others is a great way to feel better about ourselves. And that's just the problem. Avoiding the faults that need to be fixed in our own lives not only stunts our spiritual growth but also obstructs God's work through us. God's effectiveness through our lives is enhanced or hindered by the way we live.
It's no wonder, then, that Paul made a concerted effort to "put no obstacle in anyone's way" (2Cor. 6:3ESV). For him there was nothing more important than his usefulness for Christ in the lives of others. Anything that got in the way of that was dispensable.
If you want to be authentic and useful for God, take an obstacle inventory. Sometimes obstacles are things that in and of themselves may be legitimate, yet in certain contexts may be inappropriate. But sin is clearly obstructive to others. Gossip, slander, boasting, bitterness, greed, abuse, anger, selfishness, and revenge all close the hearts of those around us to the message of God through us.
So, replace your faults with the winsome ways of Jesus. That will enable others to see your "no-fault" Savior more clearly. --- Followers of Jesus are most effective when attitudes and actions are aligned with His. + --- ODB/JS

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who...gave himself for me."
Scripture tells us that God delights in the Godhead, each member of the Trinity participating eternally in mutual love and endless satisfaction and joy. How then, could I ever hope to please God or bring joy to Him, especially as a fallen sinner? Yet God does delight in me because I am united by faith to the Son who pleased Him perfectly on my behalf.
How does God feel about His Son? Is He ever annoyed or exasperated with Him, impatient, disappointed or bored? NO! He adores Him at every moment of every day.
When I am united to Christ and His perfection is credited to me, God looks at me and sees His Son. And He is riveted and overjoyed by what He sees...always! --- "Why does the Father treasure his Son so? Because He sees himself in his Son. His own perfections are flawlessly reflected there."

-The Face of Jesus Christ -By: Henry Morris, Ph.D.
"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." (2 Corinthians 4:6)
The light that shines in the soul of a lost sinner when he first comes to know Jesus Christ can only be compared to the light that Christ called forth on Day One of the creation week. We met this God of glory spiritually when we first beheld in our hearts the face of Jesus Christ.
But the face of Jesus Christ was not always deemed so glorious. We read of a time when ungodly men "did . . . spit in his face" (Matthew 26:67), then took a blindfold "to cover his face" (Mark 14:65), and finally, with a rain of terrible blows "struck him on the face" (Luke 22:64). Once His "countenance [was] as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars" (Song of Solomon 5:15), but when they finished their assault, "his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men" (Isaiah 52:14).
"The face of the Lord is against them that do evil" (1 Peter 3:12), however, and the time is coming very soon when all those who have turned their faces from Him will call "to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb" (Revelation 6:16). When finally they will have seen the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ in all its consuming strength, not even the world itself could stand, "from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away" (Revelation 20:11).
For those who have looked on Him in faith, however, this will not be a time of judgment, but blessing, for "they shall see his face" (Revelation 22:4). The face of Jesus Christ, fierce as devouring fire to those He must judge, is glorious in beauty and love to those who believe. HMM

"The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will guiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." -Zephaniah 3:17
The hardheaded Israelites had clear warnings to repent and trun from sin, yet again and again they ignored the Lord. Their desire for Him faded. They had become prideful, haughty, prosperous and indifferent to God. They worshiped other gods, preferring the creation over the Creator. Does all of that sound very far from us today? Zephaniah pronounces the judgment that would come against this kind of sin. Yet within that prophecy, there also is a word of hope.
God's help is offered in such desperate times. Look closely at verse 17. God is present with you; you are not alone. He is mighty to save, His power delivering, saving, and giving you victory. He enjoys you as a parent loves a child. His love runs deep, renewing us to Himself. His satisfaction with us is expressed in song.
Jesus took God's wrath for us and gave us His righteousness, so that no matter how hardheaded we are, He still takes great delight in us and even sings over us! We are the recipients of His immeasurable grace. --- There is great hope and relief when we are free of sin and celebrate restoration through Jesus.

-JESUS: A God of Everlasting Love ~~ By: Max Lucado
Can anything separate us from the love Christ has for us?...
Stepping from the throne, He removed His robe of light and wrapped Himself in skin: pigmented, human skin. The light of the universe entered a dark, wet womb. He who angels worship nestled Himself in the placenta of a peasant, was birthed into the cold night, and then slept on cow's hay.
Mary didn't know whether to give Him milk or give Him praise, but she gave Him both since He was, as near as she could figure, hungry and holy.
Joseph didn't know whether to call Him Junior or Father. But in the end called Him Jesus, since that's what the angel said and since he didn't have the faintest idea what to name a God he could cradle in his arms.
..Don't you think their heads tilted and their minds wondered, "What in the world are you doing, God?" Or, better phrased, "God, what are you doing in the world?"
"Can anything make Me stop loving you?" God asks. "Watch Me speak your language, sleep on your earth, and feel your hurts." Behold the maker of sight and sound as He sneezes, coughs, and blows His nose. 'You wonder if I understand how you feel?' Look into the dancing eyes of the kid in Nazareth; that's God walking to school. Ponder the toddler at Mary's table; that's God spilling His milk.
"You wonder how long my love will last? Find your answer on a splintered cross, on a craggy hill. That's Me you see up there, your Maker, your God, nail-stabbed and bleeding. Covered in spit and sin-soaked. That's your sin I'm feeling. That's your death I'm dying. That's your resurrection I'm living. That's how much I love you." -- -- "Can anything come between you and Me?" asks the firstborn Son.
Hear the answer and stake your future on the triumphant words of Paul: "I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor ruling spirits, nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, nothing above us, nothing below us, nor anything else in the whole world will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38,39).

"We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." (2 Corinthians 5:8)
This wonderful phrase of hope--"absent from the body, present with the Lord"--was the most appropriate inscription we could think of to place on the gravestone of our youngest son when he died many years ago. He was a solid Christian young man with a good Christian testimony, so we are indeed "confident" that he has been "present with the Lord" ever since sudden cancer temporarily conquered his body, leaving a beautiful wife and three young children behind.
Therefore, though we all miss him deeply, we "sorrow not, even as others which have no hope" (1 Thessalonians 4:13). Sadly, however, there are many others who are "without Christ, . . . having no hope, and without God in the world" (Ephesians 2:12). Although Christ has paid the full redemption price on the cross to have their sins forgiven and to give them eternal life, they spurn His love and so Jesus has to say, "And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life" (John 5:40).
The times of judgment are coming, when they learn that "whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire" (Revelation 20:15). Right now, however, all who know Christ as their Lord and Savior can know, with Paul, that "to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Philippians 1:21). Furthermore, when Christ returns, "them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him" (1 Thessalonians 4:14). And then He will change our old body, whether in the grave or still living, "that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body" and "we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is" (Philippians 3:21; 1 John 3:2).

When God identified Himself to Moses, He said,"I am who I am." This may seem like a strange name to us, but in reality, it's the most effective way to describe someone who is completely self-exisent. In essence, He's saying, "From eternity past through the present and into eternity future, I AM." We know this rendering of God's name as Jehovah or Yahweh. In most versions of the Bible, it is usually translated as "LORD" in capital letters.
Throughout Jewish history, God's name was associated with His presence. When He led the children of Israel through the wilderness, He went with them as a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night (Ex. 13:21). After they built the tabernacle, He met with Moses above the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant (25:22). God gave the Israelites visible, physical symbols to remind them of His everlasting presence with them.
When Joshua finally led the people into the Promised Land, the Lord gave him two promises, "I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you" and "The LORD your God is with you wherever you go" (Josh. 1:5,9).
What a great assurance to know that God will never leave His children, and nothing touches a believer without first touching Him. Our Father goes ahead of you and me to prepare the way, and He walks with us through every situation. Strive to be aware of His presence, and you will know His peace.

Simeon [said], ]“Can I stay alive until I see him?”
The Magi [said], ]“Saddle up the camels. We aren’t stopping until we find him.”
The shepherds [said], ]“Let’s go…. Let’s see.”
They wanted the Savior. They wanted to see Jesus. They were earnest in their search. One translation renders Hebrews 11:6:“God … rewards those who *earnestly* seek him” (NIV).
Another reads: “God rewards those who *search* for him” (Phillips).
And another: “God … rewards those who *sincerely look* for him” (TLB).
I like the King James translation: “He is a rewarder of them that *diligently* seek him” (emphasis mine).
*Diligently*—what a great word. Be diligent in your search. Be hungry in your quest, relentless in your pilgrimage. Let this book be but one of dozens you read about Jesus and this hour be but one of hundreds in which you seek him. Step away from the puny pursuits of possessions and positions, and seek your King.
Don’t be satisfied with angels. Don’t be content with stars in the sky. Seek Him out as the shepherds did. Long for Him as Simeon did. Worship him as the wise men did….
Risk whatever it takes to see Christ.
God rewards those who seek *Him*.
Not those who seek doctrine or religion or systems or creeds. Many settle for these lesser passions, but the reward goes to those who settle for nothing less than Jesus himself. ______________________________ From One Incredible Savior: Celebrating the Majesty of the Manger By: (Thomas Nelson, 2011) Max Lucado <http://youtu.be/kLpAdyWeklA> / MAKE WAY FOR THE KING!

While some of my cousins ventured far out into the waves, I played close to shore. Then my Uncle Norm asked me, "Can you swim?" No," I admitted. "Don't worry," he said. "I'll take you out there." "But It's too deep," I protested. "Just hang on to me," he assured me. "Do you trust me?" Then I took his hand and we bagan to walk farther out into the lake.
When my feet couldn't touch the bottom anymore, Uncle Norm held me up and reassured me, "I've got you. I've got you." Then finally he said, "Okay, let your feet down. You can stand here." -Psalm 46 --- His throne was a fiery flame, its wheels a burning fire. --Daniel 7:9 --- Jean Driscoll is a remarkable athlete. She has won the Boston Marathon eight times. She has also participated in four Paralympic Games and won five gold medals. Born with spina bifida, Jean competes in a wheelchair.
One of her favorite Bible verses is Daniel 7:9, "The Ancient of Days was seated...His throne was a fiery flame, its wheels a burning fire." Seeing a connection between Daniel's vision of God and her own situation, she is able to pass along words of encouragement to others. "Anytime I've had an opportunity to talk with people who use wheelchairs...I tell them, 'Not only are you made in the image of God, but your wheelchair is made in the image of His throne!'"
Daniel's vision, of course, doesn't portray God as being impaired in motion. In fact, some see God's "wheelchair" as a symbol of a just God sovereignly moving within human affairs. Other passages speak of God's providence providing help to those who believe (Prov. 3:25-26; Matt. 20:29-34; Eph. 1:11).
Jean Driscoll's faith in God has helped her triumph over personal challenges. We too can be confident that the high and holy One is near and ready to help us if only we ask Him (Psm. 46). --- -With God behind you and His arms beneath you, you can face whatever lies ahead of you.

-A CLEARER REVELATION OF CHRIST -By: David Wilkerson [May 19, 1931 - April 27, 2011]
The book of Daniel mentions several benefits for those who have a repentant heart. Indeed, for all who acknowledge their sin, God does the miraculous. One such benefit is a new and clearer supernatural image of Jesus. Read what happened after Daniel's repentance prayer in Daniel 9:
“Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. And I Daniel alone saw the vision . . ." (Daniel 10:5-7).
Who do you think Daniel saw in this supernatural image It was Jesus! What a wonderful benefit the Holy Spirit opened to Daniel when he confessed his sin. He was given a clear image of Christ in all His glory!
Please understand that Daniel was not praying for this supernatural image. All he was doing was repenting—confessing and mourning over sin. Jesus took it upon Himself to come to Daniel in this revelation—He initiated it. You see, when we repent and make all things right with God and others, we do not have to seek a revelation. Jesus will manifest Himself to us.
Daniel had friends who were also godly, because he walked only among the righteous. Yet Scripture tells us none of them saw the revelation Daniel received: "The men that were with me saw not the revelation, but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. Therefore I was left alone" -(Daniel 10: 7-8).
A truly repentant heart never has to hide from the Lord because there is no longer any fear of judgment. If you acknowledge your sins with godly sorrow and make restitution, you can look confidently into the Master's face. You do not have to quake with fear when you hear the thundering word of reproof because you will see Christ in His glory. -- --------- -I SURRENDER ALL / NEWSBOYS / -Repenting, Confessing, and Mourning over sin reaches the heart of God.

Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him. --(John 13:5)
I remember several years ago in Florida when a fellow minister set up an appointment with me, but I didn’t know what it was about because he wouldn’t tell my secretary. He just said it was critical that he see me.
So he came into my office, and I noticed he had a bowl, a towel, and some water. And he walked in and said, “Jack, I’ve said some things about you that I’m ashamed of. I’ve been critical of you with fellow ministers. I want you to know that I’m sorry and I want you to forgive me. I’ve come to wash your feet.”
I didn’t want to let him to do it. I said, “No, No, that’s alright. I accept your apology.” He said, “Please.” I felt so ashamed… foolish… and a little odd. But that fellow minister washed my feet right there in my office. To this day, it stands out as one of the highlights of my ministry career, and I’ll never forget that act of love.
Maybe today you need to do something radical to show others you love them. Maybe there’s a broken relationship that you need to start mending with a phone call. Maybe you need to show someone you love you appreciate them in a big way. Whomever and whatever it is, let them know today how much you appreciate them!
-LET GOD’S LOVE SHINE THROUGH YOU TODAY BY SHOWING SOMEONE THAT YOU CARE FOR THEM IN A BIG WAY.

John 13:36-14:4 --- If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. --John 14:3 --- In John 13:36-14:4, we read that at the Last Supper Jesus spoke to His disciples and tried to prepare them for His death. When Simon Peter asked, "Where are you going?" Jesus replied, "Where I am going you cannot follow Me now, but you shall follow Me afterward" (13:36). Jesus was still speaking directly to Peter (and also meant it for all of His followers) when He said, "In My Father's house are many mansions [rooms]; if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also" (14:2-3) Heaven is a family gathering of believers from every tribe and nation, but it is also our Father's house--and in that house He is preparing a room just for you.
When you arrive in heaven and Jesus opens the door, you'll know you're home.

Hebrews 13:1-8 --- Be content with wuch things as you have. Of course, the presence of our heavenly Father is not something we need to plead for--it is promised to us. In Hebrews 13:5, we read, "For [God] Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'"
Not only is God's presence the key to our contentment, but it is also the promise that can give us wisdom, peace, comfort, and strength--no matter where we are or what we are doing.

“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctifed” (Acts 20:32).
Many beautiful descriptors are used in the New Testament to illustrate the powers of the word of God, both spoken and written. For example, the Lord Jesus is called “the word of life” in I John 1:1, and Paul, speaking of the Scriptures, reminded the Philippian Christians that they should be “holding forth the word of life” (Philippians 2:16).
Jesus called the Scriptures, which were to be spread through the world like seed sown in a field, “the word of the kingdom” (Matthew 13:19). The apostle Paul called them “the word of faith which we preach” (Romans 10:8). Quoting a particular Scripture, he spoke of it as “the word of promise” (Romans 9:9).
As his witnesses and ambassadors, it is to us that He “hath committed . . . the word of reconciliation” (II Corinthians 5:19), wherewith we are to beseech men to be reconciled to God. Paul also said that “the word of truth” was nothing less than “the gospel of your salvation” (Ephesians 1:13).
The writer of Hebrews called it “the word of exhortation” (Hebrews 13:22). In writing through John to the faithful church at Philadelphia, the Lord Jesus commended them because they had “kept the word of my patience” (Revelation 3:10).
But undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and meaningful of such metaphors of God’s word is the one found in our text (and also in Acts 14:3), that is, “the word of His grace.”
There is no grander theme in the Bible than the unmerited, abundant, inexhaustible, saving grace of God in Christ, and it is fitting that God’s eternal word be known as “the word of His grace.” The book, in fact, ends on this very note. “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen” (Revelation 22:21).

"They came to Philip...with a request, 'Sir,' they said, 'we would like to see Jesus.'" (John 12:21) --
Have you noticed how easy it is to become distracted from our first priority? After many years of ministry, I certainly have seen that in our churches. We debate which Bible translations to use and which hymn book to sing out of; we set up committees until there are hardly enough people to attend them all; we debate about musical instruments vs. piano and organ, worship teams vs. choirs, etc. Though there is a place for these discussions, they are not why the church exists. The church's priority (and ours!) is to exalt Jesus Christ. Etch that into your heart!
How we need the passion behind the words of John 12:21: "Sir, we would like to see Jesus"!
I taped a copy of that verse to the pen holder on my desk, facing me, as a daily reminder to not be sidetracked with non-essentials. You may be trying to find your way through life and all of its clutter. What you really need is to see Jesus. Nail these words to your own spirit, remembering that Jesus' greatest priority, even as the nails held Him to the cross, is YOU! --- It is the community of people dedicated to following Jesus who will put the Lordship of Christ on display.

-JESUS' COMPASSION ~~ -The Bread of Life - --(Luke 9:10-17 and John 6:1-15/ Study Guide)
Interestingly, the stress seen that day is not on Jesus' face, but on the faces of the disciples.
"Send the crowds away," they demand. Fair request. "After all," they are saying, "You've taught them. You've healed them. You've accomodated them. And now they're getting hungry. If we don't send them away, they'll want You to feed them too!"
I wish I could have seen the expression on the disciples' faces when they heard the Master's response...
"You give them something to eat."...Rather than look to God, they looked in their wallets. "That would take eight months of a man's wages! Are we to go and spend that much on bread and give it to them to eat?"
"Y-y-y-you've got to be kidding." "He can't be serious." "It's one of Jesus's jokes." "Do you know how many people are out there?!"
Eyes watermelon wide, Jaws dangling open, One ear hearing the din of the crowd, the other the command of God.
Don't miss the contrasting views. When Jesus saw the people, He saw an opportunity to love and affirm value. When the disciples saw the people they saw thousands of problems.
Also, don't miss the irony. In the midst of a baker--in the presence of the Eternal Baker--they tell the "Bread of Life" that there is no bread.
How silly we must appear to God. Here's where Jesus should have given up. This is the point in the pressure-packed day where Jesus should have exploded. The sorrow, the life threats, the exuberance, the crowds, the interruptions, the demands, and now this. His own disciples can't do what He asks them. In front of five thousand men, they let Him down.
"Beam Me up, Father" should have been Jesus' next words. But they weren't. Instead He inquires. "How many loaves do you have?"
The disciples bring Him a little boy's lunch. A lunch pail becomes a banquet, and all are fed. No word of reprimand is given. No furrowed brow of anger is seen. No "I-told-you-so" speech is delivered. The same compassion Jesus extends to the crowd is extended to His friends.~~~
[That same love and compassion of our Savior and Lord Jesus is extended to each one of us. Will you take it? Will you follow Him? Jesus, the Bread of Life, died so that you and I might live eternally.]

-For three days Jesus' body decayed. It did not rest, mind you. It decayed. The cheeks sank and the skin paled. But after three days the process was reversed. There was a stirring, a stirring deep within the grave...and the living Christ stepped forth.
And the moment He stepped forth, everything changed...The resurrection is an exploding flare announcing to all sincere seekers that it is safe to believe. Safe to believe in ultimate justice. Safe to believe in eternal bodies. Safe to believe in heaven as our estate and the earth as its porch. Safe to believe in a time when questions won't keep us awake and pain won't keep us down. Safe to believe in open graves and endless days and genuine praise.
Because we can accept the Resurrection story, it is safe to accept the rest of the story. Because of the Resurrection, everything changes.
Death changes. It used to be the end; now it is the beginning.
The cemetary changes. People once went there to say good-bye; not they go to say, "We'll be together again."
Even the coffin changes. The casket is no longer a box where we hide bodies, but rather a cocoon in which the body is kept untill God sets it free to fly.
And someday, according to Christ, He will set us free. He will come back. "I will come again and receive you to Myself" (John 14:3). And to prove that He was serious about His promise, the stone was rolled and His body was raised.
For He knows that someday this world will shake again. In the blink of an eye, as fast as the lightning flashes from the east to the west, He will come back. And everyone will see Him--you will, I will. Bodies will push back the dirt and break the surface of the sea. The earth will tremble, the sky will roar, and those who do not know Him will shudder. But in that hour you will not fear, because you know Him. -- (From: When Christ Comes by Max Lucado)./HOPE OF THE WORLD!

--JESUS: More Than a Carpenter~ -- -- --Envision a dusty, quiet village. Nazareth. An unimpressive town in an unimpressive nation.
Ignore the nicer homes of the village. Joseph and Mary celebrated the birth of Jesus with a temple offering of two turtle-doves, the gift of the poor (Luke 2:22-24). Go to the poorer part of town. Not poverty stricken or destitute, just simple.
And look for a single mom. The absence of Joseph in the adult life of Jesus suggests that Mary may have raised Him and the rest of the kids alone. We need a simple home with a single mom and an ordinary laborer. Jesus' neighbors remembered Him as a worker. "Is this not the carpenter?" (Mark 6:3)
Jesus had dirty hands, sweat-stained shirts, and--this may surprise you--common looks. "He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him" (Isaiah 53:2).
Raised in an overlooked nation among oppressed people in an obscure village. Can you spot Him? See the adobe house with the thatched roof? Yes, the one with the chickens in the yard and the gangly teenager repairing chairs in the shed.
"He had to enter into every detail of human life. Then, when he came before God as high Priest to get rid of the people's sins, he would have already experienced it all himself--all the pain, all the testing--and would be able to help where help was needed" (Heb. 2:17,18MSG).

-"Where there is no vision, My people perish." Prov.29:18 -- -- "We know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understading so that we can know the true God." (1 John 5:20)
-"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us," wrote A.W. Tozer, and he was right. The way we see God profoundly shapes who we are. If we see him as a dictator, we'll be servile. If we see Him as an indulgent uncle, we'll live indulgently. If we think He's a vocal speaker, we'll listen; but if we think He's silent and obscure, we'll shut our ears to the possibility of hearing Him. If we believe Jesus is coming soon, we'll prepare. But is He coming to rapture us away to heaven, or are we meeting Him in the sky as He comes to earth to establish His Kingdom? Our answer affects the nature of our mission. Our confidence in Him, the way we talk to Him, the things we expect of Him--everything is shaped by 'our vision'.
That's also true of how we see ourselves. If we see ourselves as sinners who can never get things right, we'll live up to that vision. If we see ourselves as new creatures of faithfulness and authority, we'll live up to that vision instead. The way we view God, ourselves, the world, and the future determines our outlook, moods, morals, relationships, and experiences. It's absolutely vital to pay attention to how we see.
Have extreme confidence in God. Look at His plan for the world through hope-colored lenses. Understand the calling and authority He has given you. Insist on seeing truth, letting His Spirit give you His eyes. Look for His Presence with the expectation of sensing it because you know He's a God who comes to His people. In every area of life, develop your vision. You may be surprised by what you see.

-In All your ways acknowledge him, and He shall direct your paths. --Proverbs 3:6 --- -Sometimes followers of Jesus need help to get back on track spiritually. We may intentionally veer off course because we think we know best or drift away slowly, failing to notice we're moving further and further from the walk God wants with us.
God has not left us on our own, however. He has given all believers the Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17; 1 Cor. 3:16), who convicts us of our sin (John 16: 8,13). When we're going off course, He sounds the alarm and triggers our conscience (Gal. 5:16-25). We may ignore the warning, but we do so to our own detriment (Isa. 63:10; Gal 6:8).
What comfort to know that God is at work in our lives through the convicting work of the Holy Spirit! (Rom. 8:26-27). With God's help and guidance, we can continue on a path that is pleasing to Him.

-"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." ---- The [oil] refinery does for petroleum and other products what your heart should do for you. It takes out the bad and utilizes the good.
We tend to think of the heart as the seat of emotion. We speak of "heartthrobs," "heartaches," and "borken hearts."
But when Jesus said, "Blessed are the pure in heart" (Matthew 5:8), He was speaking in a different context. To Jesus' listeners, the heart was the totality of the inner person--the control towel, the cockpit. The heart was thought of as the seat of the character--the origin of desires, affections, perceptions, thoughts, reasoning, imagination, conscience, intentions, purpose, will, and faith.
Thus a proverb admonished, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life" [Proverbs 4:23].
To the Hebrew mind, the heart is a freeway clover-leaf where all emotions and prejudices and wisdom converge. It is a swith house that receives freight cars loaded with moods, dead emotions and convictions and puts them on the right track.
And just as low-grade oil or alloyed gasoline would cause you to question the performances of a refinery, evil acts and impure thoughts cause us to question the condition of our hearts....
The heart is the center of the spiritual life. If the fruit of a tree is bad, you don't try to fix the fruit; you treat the roots. And if a person's actions are evil, it's not enough to change habits; you have to go deeper. You have to go to the heart of the problem, which is the problem of the heart....
And Jesus' statement rings true: "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."
Note the order of this beatitude: first purify the heart, then you will see God.
---The Father's Love for the Son "And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." (Matthew 3:17)
In this remarkable verse, God the Father, speaking from heaven itself, introduces His beloved Son to the world. This is the first New Testament reference to "love," just as the Father's love for the Son was the first love that ever existed. As Christ prayed in the upper room,"For thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world" (John 17:24).
There are many other references to the Father's love for the Son, including two to the voice at His baptism (Mark 1:11; Luke 3:22) and two more in the upper room prayer (John 17:23,26). One great reason for that love is the following: "Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life" (John 10:17).
The extent of the Father's love for His blessed Son was all-encompassing. "The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand" (John 3:35). Furthermore, "the Father loveth the Son, and showeth Him all things that Himself doeth" (John 5:20).
God also spoke of His "beloved Son" on the Mount of Transfiguration, as cited four times (Matthew 17:5; Mark 9:7; Luke 9:35; 2 Peter 1:17). Thus there are seven references in the New Testament to the Father's heavenly testimony to His beloved Son. Similarly there are seven passages where the Son Himself testifies of that Fatherly love. In addition to the six cited above, Christ said, "As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you" (John 15:9).
Seven testimonies from the Father and seven from the Son! Surely the Father loved the Son with a perfect love. And yet--"Herein is love . . . that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins" (1 John 4:10). Such love for unworthy sinners merits nothing less than total thanksgiving from us.

--TO DIE IS TO LIVE ~~ ----- "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it." (Mark 8:35)
The principle expressed in this verse must be of paramount importance, for it is found repeated in one way or another probably more often than any other single principle in the New Testament. Note the following examples representing at least four separate messages from the Lord Jesus:
-Matthew 10:39:- "He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it."
-Matthew 16:25:- "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it."
-John 12:25-"He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
This remarkable divine paradox--that to die means to live--is also found expressed in many other ways in the epistles. Paul says, for example: "I am crucified with Christ nevertheless I live" (Galatians 2:20).Note also such Scriptures as Romans 12:1-2; 2 Corinthians 5:14-15; 6:9-10; Philippians 1:21-24; 2 Timothy 2:11-12.
Christ wants us to live in simple obedience to His will as recorded in His Word, proclaiming in all we say and do that He is Creator, Savior, and coming King.~

--The Moments That Sustain Us~~ --Please read: Joshua 1:8~ --- --Meditation on our Lord Jesus is a vital part of a healthy, growing relationship with God. It is however, left out of many believers' lives. So let's start with basics and ask the key question, 'How do we meditate'?
-FIRST, we musts devote ourselves to the reading of God's Word. If we want to hear His message, then we must dig deep into Scripture. This is no mere book; rather, it is the very message of God to His people. We have Scripture in order to know the Lord better. As faithful stewards of this wonderful gift, we must make it an integral part of our lives.
Second, we must learn to pray God's Word back to Him. When we read a Bible passage, we should lift that Word back up to heaven as a prayer. We affirm the message of Scripture by showing our heavenly Father we are in agreement with what He has said.
-Third, we must apply the Word. The Bible is not here for simply information; instead, it was given for obedience. If we do not allow the Word of God to change our life, then are we really placing much value on it?
Fourth, we must submit to God's will. As we spend time actively listening to the Lord, He will share His plans for our life. As we apply what we have heard, meditation will become more and more instinctive for us. Then, we will find that we hear His voice regularly.
God has a special message for you. It's imperative that you take the time to hear what your heavenly Father is saying. And when you do, you'll enjoy the richness of your relationship with Him. He wants to talk to each one of His people. When you read His Word, the Bible, He speaks to your soul. You in turn, pray to the Father, and a personal relationship has encountered.
--Psalm 116 ---------- Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints. --Psalm 116:15 ---- -IN response to the news that a mutual friend of ours had died, a wise brother who knew the Lord sent me these words: "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints" (Ps. 116:15). Our friend's vibrant faith in Jesus Christ was the dominant characteristic of his life, and we knew he was home with God in heaven. His family had that assurance as well, but I had been focused only on their sorrow. And it's appropriate to consider others during their grief and loss.
But the verse from Psalms turned my thoughts to how the Lord saw the passing of our friend. Something "precious" is something of great value. Yet, there is a larger meaning here. There is something in the death of a saint that transcends our grief over their absence.
"Precious (important and no light matter) in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints (His loving ones)" (The Amplified Bible). Another paraphrase says, "His loved ones are very precious to him and He does not lightly let them die" (The Living Bible).God is not flippant toward death. The marvel of His grace and power is that, as believers, our loss of life on earth also brings great gain.
Today we have only a glimpse. One day we'll understand it in the fullness of His light.~~ ----------- --FAITH BUILDS A BRIDGE ACROSS THE GULF OF DEATH ~~

-Titus 3:1-11 ------ 'According to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.' --Titus 3:5 -- ------- -By the time he was 16, Morris Frank (1908-1980) had lost his sight in both eyes. Several years later, he traveled to Switzerland where he met Buddy, the canine who would help to inspire Frank's involvement with the 'Seeing Eye' guide-dog school.
With Buddy leading the way, Frank learned to navigate busy sidewalks and intersections. Describing the freedom his guide provided, Frank said, "It was glorious: just [Buddy] and a leather strap, linking me to life." Buddy gave Morris Frank a new kind of access to the world around him.
God's Holy Spirit gives us access to abundant spiritual life in Christ. When we accept Christ as Lord, God washes our sins away. "He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whon He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior" (Titus 3:5-6 NIV). Once we know Christ, the Holy Spirit helps us experience God's love (Rom. 5:5), understand God's Word (John 14:26), pray (Rom. 8:26), and abound in hope (Rom. 15:13).
Today, as you think about your relationship with God, remember that the Spirit is your guide to life in Christ (Rom. 8:14). ---------- --The Holy Spirit guides us into knowledge -and spiritual growth. ------ --"With God all things are possible." -"But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...'Then he said to the paralytic, 'Get up, take your mat and go home.'" --Matthew 9:6
--WITH THE EYES of God, Jesus looked at the paralyzed man lying on a mat before Him. The man was hoping to be healed. But Jesus first addressed the man's most urgent problem and said to him, "You sins are forgiven."
This angered some of the teachers of the Law. They thought Jesus was guilty of blasphemy, knowing only God can forgive sins. But Jesus asked them why they were thinking evil in their hearts. He had the authority to forgive sins, and He was going to prove it.
I love the part in this passage where Jesus stops in mid-sentence. It's as if He said to Himself, "Why talk anymore? I'll just show them." And He gave them proof positive of His authority to heal bodies 'and' forgive sins.
We too, have proof positive of who Jesus really is. We have the empty tomb! Jesus truly is God, the conqueror of death. The teachers of the Law in His day were more close to the truth than they realized. Once paralyzed in our deep sin and despair, we now stand on that truth, our sins completely washed away. Praise God!~~
--THE EMPTY tomb never resists honest investigation. A lobotomy is not a prerequisite of discipleship. Following Christ demands faith, but not blind faith. "Come and see," the angel invites. Shall we?
Take a look at the vacated tomb. Did you know the opponents of Christ never challenged its vacancy? No Pharisee or Roman soldier ever led a contingent back to the burial site and declared, "The angel was wrong. The body is here. It was all a rumor."
They would have if they could have. Within weeks disciples occupied every Jerusalem street corner, announcing a risen Christ. What quicker way for the enemies of the Church to shut them up than to produce a cold and lifeless body? Display the cadaver, and Christianity is still born. But they had no cadaver to display.
Helps explain the Jerusalem revival. When the apostles argued for the empty tomb, the people looked to the Pharisees for a rebuttal. But they had none to give...
Remember the followers' fear at the crucifixion? They ran. Scared as cats in a dog pound. Peter cursed Christ at the fire. Emmaus-bound disciples bemoaned the death of Christ on the trail. After the crucifixion, "The doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews" (John 20:19).
But fast-forward forty days. Bankrupt traitors have become a force of life-changing fury. Peter is preaching in the very precinct where Christ was arrested. Followers of Christ defy the enemies of Christ. Whip them and they'll worship. Lock them up and they'll launch a jailhouse ministry. As bold after the Resurrection as they were cowardly before it.
Only one explanation remains--a resurrected Christ and His Holy Spirit. The courage of these men and women was forged in the fire of the empty tomb. The disciples did not dream up a resurrection. The Resurrection fired up the disciples. Have doubts about the empty tomb? Come and see the disciples. They are all around you, still preaching Jesus Christ and Him crucified. YES!=, NOW HE'S ALIVE! ------- Are you nervous about sharing your faith? Be bold. Open your mouth to share and let the reliable Holy Spirit direct your conversation. "HE'S ALIVE!"

“...we believe and are sure that Thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.” - John 6:69
-Jesus Christ is a fact of history. All secular historians who have any merit admit that, regardless of what they believe about Him, Jesus lived! There’s no way to explain that the Christian Church exists apart from the fact that Jesus Christ was here.
What did the early church preach? Not only that Jesus was here, but that He walked out of the grave. How do you explain that? Somebody said, “Well, they must have made up the story. They said they touched Him, they said they ate with Him.” Oh? We’re talking about men who died for their faith. Do you think they would willingly, knowingly die for a lie? A man may live for a lie, but few would die for one.

--JESUS, OUR GREAT ---HIGH PRIEST~~ --(Please read Hebrews 4:14-16)
--WHY IS IT THAT SOME PEOPLEface life's hardships with confidence and boldness, but others find themselves plagued with doubts and fear of failure? One reason is that too many people have a sorely inadequate view of who Jesus is. We may know Him as the Bread of Life and the Living Water, but how many of us know Him as our Great High Priest?
The Scriptures tell us that Jesus "had to be made like His brethren in all things, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest" (Hebrews 2:17). Hebrews 4:15 adds, "For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin." Jesus enters into our lives and experiences our pain, hurt, and guilt right along with us.
Have you ever been totally misunderstood when you did your best and gave your all? Consider this: Was anybody more misunderstood than Jesus? He was personally acquainted with that kind of pain. Has somebody you loved ever said, no, shut, the door, and walked away? You might wonder if Jesus ever felt such pain and rejection as this. Yes, He did. His own people scorned Him. Does Jesus, the sinless One, understand our feelings of guilt? The Bible says that the Father laid all the sins of the world on Him. Jesus Christ bore the guilt of all mankind. Yes, Jesus paid our sin-debt.
-No matter what you are facing, realize that the Savior identifies with your circumstance, and He feels every single thing you're experiencing. Jesus said, "Lo, I am with you always even until the end of the age. I will never leave you nor forsake you."
-"To us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders." --(Isaiah 9:1-7) ---- -NO ONE CAN AFFORD THE PRICE OF WAR.One website reports 64 nations are currently involved in armed conflicts. When and how will they end? We want peace, but not at the expense of justice.
Jesus was born during a time of "peace," but it came at the cost heavy-handed oppression. The Pax Romana ("Roman Peace") existed only because Rome squashed all dissent.
Seven centuries before that time of relative peace, hostile armies prepared to invade Jerusalem. From the shadow of war, God made a remarkable pronouncement. "On those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned," the prophet declared (Isa 9:2). "For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given...Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end" (vv. 6-7). Matthew tells us that Isaiah's prophecy found fulfillment in the Christ-child (Matt. 1:22-23; see also ISA. 7:14)
-We adore the tiny baby in the manger scene. Yet that helpless babe is also the Lord Almighty, "the Lord of Heaven's Armies" (Isa. 13:13 NLT). He will one day "reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness" (9:7). Such a regime will be no oppressive 'Pax Romana.'It will be the reign of the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. ---- --THE LAMB OF GOD IS ALSO THE LION OF JUDAH. **What it means to be a child of God? **If you've run too far to come home?
--Read: Romans 8:15, 16; Luke 15:11-32; 2 Corinthians 6:18
--WHEN you hold up your arms to your heavenly Father, He reaches down to scoop you up. These passages remind us that accepting God's gift of salvation is not a formal business deal. It's the picture of a father welcoming home His rebellious child, just like the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32.
Just like the ungrateful son, we have run far from God. At some point in our lives, we've tried to live on our own, apart from Him. We packed a knapsack, bought a bus ticket, and took off for the lights of the city. Somehow, the plan didn't work out as we expected. But God, your Father, was waiting up for you when you came home.
With joy in His eyes, God adopted you as soon as you held up your arms to Him. He's your Abba Father. It doesn't matter how far you've run or how long you've been gone. His love doesn't change. You are His child.
-"But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons." --(Galatians 4:4,5)
"When we come to Christ, God not only forgives us, He also adopts us....It would be enough if God just cleansed your name, but He does more. He gives you His name. It would be enough if God just set you free, but He does more. He takes you home. He takes you home to the Great House of God."
--"You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy." --(John 16:20)~~
--KELLY'S PREGNANCY brought complications, and doctors were concerned. During her long labor, they decided to whisk her away for a Cesarean section. But despite the ordeal, Kelly quickly forgot her pain when she held he newborn son. Joy had replaced anguish.
Scripture affirms this truth: "A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world" (JOHN 16:21). Jesus used this illustration with his disciples to emphasize that though they would grieve because He would be leaving soon, that grief would turn to joy when they saw Him again (VV. 20-22).
Jesus was referring to His death and resurrection--and what followed. After His resurrection, to the disciples' joy, Jesus spent another forty days walking with and teaching them before ascending and leaving them once again (ACTS 1:3). Yet Jesus did not leave them grief-stricken. The Holy Spirit would fill them with joy (JOHN 16:7-15; ACTS 13:52).
-Though we have never seen Jesus face to face, as believers we have the assurance that one day we will. In that day, the anguish we face in this earth will be forgotten. But until then, the Lord has not left us without joy--He has given us His Spirit (ROM. 15:13; 1 PETER 1:8-9).~~

--"The Heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world." --
-In the New Testament, the apostle Paul reveals that in Jesus "all things were created: things in Heaven and on Earth, visible and invisible...all things have been created through Him and for Him: (COLOSSIANS 1:16). JESUS CHRIST IS GOD-MAN!

~~"Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." --(Matthew 20:28) --
--The thought that the death of Jesus and His shed blood were somehow the ransom price paid to redeem lost sinners from an eternal prison in hell has been a stumbling block to many of those very sinners.Yet, that is the teaching of Scripture, whether it appeals to their reasoning or not. "Ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold... But with the precious blood of Christ" (1 Peter 1:18-19). In the Old Testament economy, ransoms were paid for various reasons, such as freeing slaves. The last use of "ransom" in the Old Testament, however, seems to foreshadow the New Testament concept. "I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death" (Hosea 13:14).
But to whom was the ransom of Christ to be paid? Not to the devil, of course, or to any human king. It can only have been paid to God [the Father]- Himself, for He had set "the wages of sin" to be "death" (Romans 6:23). For a time, these wages had been paid in part "by the blood of goats and calves" offered on the altar as a temporary covering for sins. But that was only until the true ransom could be paid. "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who...offered himself without spot or to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" (Hebrews 9:14).
Such a sacrifice was not foolishness as the scoffer claims, but "the power of God, and the wisdom of God" (1 Corinthians 1:24). "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time" (1 Timothy 2:5-6). Praise God--the ransom has been paid and we have been redeemed! ~~
