Good question! No, I haven't..
I still think the word yowm can also be used as a space of time, season, space etc..
As defined in the word index of the Strongs Concordance.
Various lengths of time or it could mean day by our standards.
Moses wrote in Genesis 2:4 that they were created in the day that Jehovah was making earth and heaven and that couldn't be a 24 hour day of course.
But I believe the numbers are important for us in scripture and have meaning.
Like markers but from watching the Ken Ham DVD's..
I know that it is important to him that we are all on the same page in Genesis.
But I don't see it that way as weither one believes it means a literal 24 hour day or not...
God created the Heavens and the Earth and all within no matter how much time he put into it, period..
for time only has meaning to us, and not so much to Him.
As a day could be like as a thousand years to Him and time passes slowly for us.
But time and seasons are signs for us.
So the numbers have meaning even if not all share the same outlook on the interpretation of the use of the word yowm.
Yet agree that God created everything as in Genesis.
Being on the same page there with that.
Yet I really like Ken Ham he's really good and makes alot of good points in his research and take on things.
But also still can go with the gap thing too as Russ talked about and seeing it as a interpretation not as not believing in Genesis that God Created Everything.
I think it matters more what came after that event.
But the Bible's text does not require us to believe that creation was completed in six days as, in the link below..
And Genesis was written in Hebrew.
Plus others things on it I have read and on this board.
So both is O.K with me "in that" God created everything as in Genesis.
It's not a big sticking point to me could mean literal 24 hour days or not. Doesn't change anything for me.

This is the concluding verse of the tenth chapter of Genesis, known as "The Table of Nations." It tells us that all the original nations of the world were formed from the descendants of Noah. The basis of this worldwide division was their dispersion at Babel (Genesis 11:9), "every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations" (Genesis 10:5; see also 10:20 and 10:31). Lest anyone think this list of original nations is simply folklore, he should remember that William F. Albright, probably the greatest archaeologist of the twentieth century, called it "an astonishingly accurate document." Many ethnologists still speak of Japhetic, Hamitic, and Semitic peoples and languages.

But what about the origin of races? One searches the Bible in vain for this information, for neither the word nor the concept of "race" appears in the Bible at all! There is no such thing as a race--except the human race! Skin color and other supposed racial characteristics are mere recombinations of innate genetic factors, originally created in Adam and Eve to permit development of different family characteristics as the human race was commanded to multiply and fill the earth (Genesis 1:28; 9:1).

"Race" is strictly an evolutionary concept used by Darwin, Huxley, Haeckel, and the other nineteenth-century evolutionists to rationalize their white racism. But from the beginning it was not so!

"God that made the world and all things therein; . . . hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth" (Acts 17:24,26). "Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother?" (Malachi 2:10). HMM

We are all one in Christ!

America The Beautiful & Coca Cola has since the 1970's has been trying to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony. Thats's nothing new but only God can bring true lasting peace to this world as it is now. But it is interesting to hear America The Beautiful being sung in so many different languages.
When this Nation was founded and beyond America was a blend of English, Spanish, French, Irish, Italian, German, Indian, African etc.. and people did speak many different languages and blended and became one. This country has had it's problems "no doubt" but America The Beautiful has been it's goal. One Nation Under God with Liberty and Justice for all Thanks to our Founding Fathers who based the Idea on our Creator who is loving yet Just with Laws to follow for a civilized society. Where we are heading too as a nation is completely up to us as God gave us the free will to choose our own path and decided for ourselves. We can uplift ourselves or choose the path leading to destruction it is ours to decide.

Even though drinking Cola's is something alot of people choose not to do it was interesting hearing America The Beautiful being sung in many different languages. In our Country long ago was there also singing being done of our Country's anthem's by our early immigrant ancestors as not all our ancestors spoke English back then but they eventually blended into one Language, one America, one Nation Under God, Under our Constitution. Never perfection as perfection will only exist under God's kingdom rule but in the striving many have tried for that goal on earth. Until that day comes...
