Also, just in case you might not already know, (sorry if you've had this told already), make sure you're eating a diet that contains NO sugar, no yeast and no gluten. The gut and liver can get messed up by these things and you can add to the toxicity by eating them. Also candida yeast can grow out of control with this stuff and make yoru toxicity far worse and make it more difficult to detox or cope.
A person like us, often can hardly survive as it is. I have to stick to no sugar, no yeast, no gluten and I use the specific basic supplements pointed out by a bio chemist who understands mercury toxiciity very well and pretty much at the MINIMUM, you must be taking vitamin C (about 2000 mg) 3-4 times a day, Vitamin B complex 3 - 4 times a day, vitamin E (once or twice a day, about 500 IU twice a day for example), Zinc (once or more often) and organic flaxseed oil (1 - 2 tablespoons a day mixed in plain yoghurt, or with cottage cheese) and if you want a basic allround vitamin/mineral mix supplement as well, but that's optional. You can also take some selenium if you tolerate it.
These things are the basics and I think they are crucial. The vitamin B complex and vitamin C need to be taken 3 - 4 times a day because of their pharmakinetics. So they will be effective. Especially with people like us who have such toxicity.
I know it's very overwhelming, but if you can do those things, you might find you can gain more strength in the meantime before embarking on any dental work.

Hi Clare, and everyone else, All kinds of toxins whether it be toxic dental materials, pharmaceutical drugs, junk food, contaminated water, and contaminated air, and everything else in our environment, will effect the body physically as well as phycologically. If your taking any kind of medication I would look into safer natural alternatives, since pharmaceuticals most always tears down the immune system and have negative side affects. Its bad enough you have toxins from your dental materials and therefore you don't need any more!!! Bex is right when he said to stop the sugar. I rememeber when I had my amalgams and other heavy metals in I had hypoglocemia and terrible mood swings along with depression when I ate sugar. Thank God I don't have this problem anymore since I got all my toxic dental materials out of my mouth. Bex is also right that it is good to take the B vitamins. They should only be taken from a natural source though. READ THIS ABOUT B-12: Accordinally to the Huggins proticol, mercury turns inorganic or the vapor forms of mercury into Methyl mercury which is almost 100 times more damaging to the nervous system if you take B 12 in a pill form, intravenous solutions, and in shots after mercury amalgam removal. I tryed one B vitiman myself once after amalgam removal and boy did I fell toxic!!! Ever since then I knew what Huggins was talking about. So I decided to take foods that contain B vitimans and also natural suppliments that contain them and it has helped me tremendously. B-12 vitimans from an unnatural source should not be taken after mercury removal. Any vitaman should not be taken from an unnatural source actually, especially man made synthetic vitamins. Most of them are not compatible with the body as natural suppliments are. You will find natural sources at the healthfood store. I usually eat foods that contain the B vitamins such as Alfalfa sprouts, Barley grass, Brewers yeast, Chlorella, and kelp. These are excellent natural herbs that contain B vitamins; Burdock root, Red clover flower, Dandelion root, and hops. I usually get these in capsule form. You also probably need to build your immune system with these natural herbs; Astragulas root, pau d arco , and especially milk thistle for the liver just as Bex suggested!!! I usually get these in capsule form too. Each natural herb usually have more than 1 benefit for different health problems. I suggest to get the book PRESCRIPTION FOR NUTRITIONAL HEALING, by James Balch M.D. and Phyliss Balch C.N.C., 3rd edition. This book is used as a reference in most healthfood stores. It is also the #1 Natural health authority in America. This is an excellent book!!! It will even tell you who can and who can't take a particular herb, how much to take, and how to take it. This book will tell you how to fast with organic juiced raw vegetables safely too. It will tell you what vegetables are good for certain illnessess. I have heard time and time again that fasting is the best thing you can do to detox and rejuvinate your body. I have even heard stories from personal friends (when I use to be socialable) that people they knew who were near death, got revived by fasting from solid foods temporarly and drinking organic raw vegetables from the juicer. Iv'e heard many success stories about this! Go to www.drday.com. She is a doctor who was hours away from death with breast cancer. She turned to alternative medicine and got well with juiced organic vegetables along with other life style changes. I highly recommend to order her very informative videos. In " CANCER DOESN'T SCARE ME ANYMORE," she exposes the pharmacecutical companies, the FDA, the American cancer society, and many other corrupt organizations. You won't believe your ears its so shocking and informative!!! Also in another video, " YOU CAN'T IMPROVE UPON GOD," she tells you how she fasted and used the juicer. She also tells you all the other things she did to help her body heal itself of cancer without radiation, without chemotherapy, and without pharmacecutical drugs. Even if you don't have cancer I believe anyone who does what she did will get good results. She also sells other videos, DVDs, and books on other health issues. I also highly recommend, " NATURAL CURES THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT" by Kevin Trudeau. He also exposes corrupt organizations. This is a very informative book as well!!! As we all know on this forum that no one will get well unless we get the dental time bombs that are implanted in our heads out first!!! It is true that we may be able to buy alittle more time, but sonner or later the toxins in our dental materials will catch up with us and kill us if we don't get them removed!!! Good luck! I hope these suggestions will help you physically as well as phycologically <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Hiya Clare,
For what its worth i experienced the exact same thing! I was'nt a christian at all but my Dad had given his life to the Lord many years before, I felt so possesed at one stage I rushed to his house convinced I needed to be exorcised - or locked up in a padded room. I tasted sulphur in my mouth all the time, could constantly smell fuel and had the most horrific thoughts you could ever imagine, and it came out of nowhere. Needless to say I became a christian and im so glad i did. It got me through many a dark hour.
Last year was the worst of my life. No matter how hard I tried I could think of nothing positive and I thought that everything was evil and out to get me, completely paranoid and dillusional. Feelings of impending doom haunted me and although I was saved I kept obsessing that God was going to pull the rug out from under me any second as a final punishment.
Looking back now ( few months post removal) I am fortunately able to laugh at myself. It was a rollercoaster ride unlike any other. Granted I do still have the odd bad day when some of it comes back and for a few seconds I get scared and want to cry but then I remember the great days I had before and it gets me through. I am a billion times better and the light at the end of my dark tunnel just keeps getting brighter and brighter.
All I can say is hang in there, it does get better, and it will for you too. Dont lose faith in yourself because its not you having the scary thoughts it is the mercury manifesting in your mind - I know - dont feel guilty about them either. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
Hope you feel better soon!
Take care and God Bless!

P.S Clare i forgot to mention....If you have not already I urgently appeal to you to CUT ANY DAIRY out of your diet for at least 3 days and i mean not even a teaspoon of milk in your tea/coffee and see how you feel. The difference was day and night for me. The smallest amount of any kind for me and I the mental symptoms return with a vengance
Hope it helps

I seriously can relate to what everyone has said in this thread. I went through absolutely horrifying mental periods where I actually thought I was in hell. I thought the devil was getting a hold of me and showing me what hell looks like. I kno it sounds over dramatic but thats what it felt like, as if god had abandoned me. I had extreme scarey thoughts of darkness, and the if weather was overcast i would get extremely depressed and just want to die.
The good news is that you will come out of it like I did and be happy once more. You need to follow the diet recommendations people have said here tho, and also I recommend buying a juicer and juicing vegetables. Fresh vege juice has eased a lot of my symptoms tremendously including mental symptoms. I think its the only real way to get all your vitamins, minerals and enzymes in an easily absorbably form and greatly assists the detox process.

i agree, I think the pains of mercury poisoning are some of the hardest that anyone can go through in their life time, it penetrates right to your core distorts everything in your mind, leaving u with paranoid delusions and constant negative thoughts. I also developed thought patterns and emotions that seemed to be not of this world, they were that bad.
I know the pain of losing a loved one or finding out you have cancer and being treated for it are extremely difficult also, but I think that pain mercury instills is right up there when compared to them

Wow this is one powerful thread, and it sure hits home...the last few days have been good ones, but the negativity still prevails, I have so much trouble shaking those thoughts...and I feel so OCD about mercury, all my friends think I am crazy...but it is hard not to be obsessed about something that has devoured up so many years of my life...and my siblings too, they all have it.
I am much better since having all my amalgams out, but I still have to deal with 5 root canals and some cavitations and a metal crown/bridge. I just took a break so I could stop thinking about mercury and candida for a month or 2, and it has helped, it really is hard not to obsess about it.

Heya Joey,
I invested in a juicer myself about two months ago and im so glad I did! Its the best thing Ive bought in years and twenty minutes after ive had my juice I feel completely uplifted. Everyone around me is complimenting me on how well I look. Used to be pale as death but ive got my colour back and feel like im glowing from the inside out.
Juice on my friend!!!
I just thank God that I found out what was causing my symptoms "early" in my life. My doctor sent me to a psychologist last year (after all my blood tests said i was the picture of health / after i told him i knew something was wrong) who wanted to put me on anti-psychotic meds, THANK GOD I never took them. People still think im using the mercury as a scape goat for my "issues" and refuse to even consider that their bi-polar and suicidalness could be mercury....what a shame.
Its so distressing that this sickness can take something - like a sunset - that one wouldve enjoyed so much before, and twist and distort it into looking evil and bloody. I missed seeing beautiful sunsets so much....at least they're starting to look like they used to lol.
Anyone here battle with over analising things. Like a remark or statement from someone or even their thoughts. If someone says something to me I disect and analise it over and over again. Searching for all these hidden meanings that are'nt there. Im never just satisfied that they said what they meant. In my head they must have meant something else and sometimes the things I come up with are really weird. Anyone else get this?

Yes I am totally like that.... oh I am so glad you brought this up...I always thought I was the only one....and my sister is too...we read too much into another's actions or words...and analyze things to death!!!!! Does anyone else do this too? I think I am getting better, but still have lots of mercury to get out.

Wow!,this is deep you all just clarified how i feel, but i just can never put it in words,or i would forget to mention it when i am trying to decribe how i feel to my doctor. This is crazy,i too see no happiness in sunny days. Myy other problem is not understanding when someone wants to do something fun like go to an amusement park or anywher to socialize for the matter,to me it seems insane. Mind you i used to be an outgoing person, now i can barely go out, just picturing it makes me affraid and very nervous,i look for every excuse in the book to stay home,Why <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I have lost all my sense of fun too,and sunny days get me down also, i prefer it when it rains. Its awefull sometimes, its like im being restricted to having fun with my kids before they grow up.This is sometimes like hell on earth and its not nice. I had abig row with my partner, he says he never wants to hear about my health problems again, he says i shouldn't gp on the internet and find things that are wrong with me.

What vegetables do you use? I have a juicer but I don't use it as much as I should because it's hard to even do that when I'm depressed. _____________________________________________________ I feel your pain, it get so bad that it's difficult to even figure out what to eat at times.

glad to hear it tgoss! Everyone should try it! As for the veges i juice they mainly revolve around carrots which are just awesome for you, but also I put in lettuce, celery, cucumbers, some parsley, some ginger if I have it, and also some baby beets which are great for cleaning the blood so I hear.. i tend to stay away from sweeter fruits like apples, but sometimes put them in so it all tastes nice...

There is a woman my age at my company that does this all the time- (second guessing and over-analyzing things I say) and has alot of metal fillings still in her mouth.
Unfortunately, she doens't truly buy into that mercury fillings are bad for you-- and thinks it's all hype. She also thinks im a

Yep, me too. Have always loved grey rainy days. Don't really know if this is a mercury symptom. I might start asking around and see what the general verdict is and then get back to you. I have 21 amalgams and all the general physical and psychological symptoms of mercury poisoning. A few months ago something really really disturbed me. I had been asleep for about 2 hours and then woke up with a thump and found myself at the end of the bed on the floor very bruised and extremely shaken. It felt like I scrambled full pelt to the end of the bed and then threw myself over the big wooden bed end and then dropped onto the floor. Has anyone else experienced this ?

I also had symptoms that seem to be like OCD before my amalgam removal (July 2000). I would line things up at the dinner table, like silverware, so they were exactly in line. I would have horrible thoughts of car accidents when riding in a car. Would also constantly worry about what someone else thought about the conversation I just had with them. Would also constantly worry about what kind of an impression I made on others. The fears went on and on and changed the course of my life. I went from having high aspirations and low expectatations to now having deep confidence in what I'm doing and where I'm going. In analyzing the in-depth ways that mercury changed me emotionally and physiologically, and having experiencing a dramatic recovery from these burdens, I'm writing an in-depth analysis of how mercury affects people on this level and will be publishing it on this forum (free) and in print. I truly believe if people realized what had been stolen from them in terms of: - confidence,
- stability,
- courage,
- self-discipline,
- I.Q.,
- passion and
- general quality of relationships
—by mercury— ...many would be furious equal-to or beyond the level they are knowing what mercury has done to them physically.

Hi everybody,
Been away for a while, back again. I juice spinach, carrots, apples, oranges, strawberrys and pears. I sometimes add papayas or whatever else i can lay my hands on, its all good.
Cant wait to read that Russ, I totally agree. Its a damn shame. To think of what I could have accomplished had I not become so shy and introvert because of mercury makes me ill. My mom grounded me once for not answering the phone because I was to afraid to - of what I dont know. Im still terrified of going for a job interview so thus i remain unemployed and "dependant on others" - it makes me so ashamed. Hopefully I have caught it early enough and can still accomplish much.
The thoughts of having a car crash are terrible. I still have to overcome those. Living in South Africa with the carnage on our roads you often drive past or are exposed to some gruesome things so that makes it hard to stop fearing being involved in an accident.
Its such a relief to know that it may go away and is a result of the mercury. I thought I was the only one that suffered this. It really has hampered me in so many ways as my family live quite far away and I used to be ok to drive that far but now I just cant with the thoughts of having an accident. I have to drive with someone else longer distances and thats not always possible so I really miss them deeply.
When they complain about me not visiting and I tell them what I go through to get there I get that patronising look thats like; poor little you, you've just got too many issues and should try to get over it. If only they knew!
How are you feeling Clare?
The victory is greater then the battle.

Hi Sandi Flood,
It sounds like you have alot of root canals that need to be pulled out along with the cavitations. Although everyone is different and bone loss from pulled teeth may not be noticable in your case, I still think I should inform you about certain things pertaining to this. I feel that you have the right to know since your dentist may not inform you. Click to BONE GRAFT? NOW I'M REALLY SCARED, to my POST by SCARLET, in this MERCURY SECTION OF THE FORUM, addressed to SPIDERBABY.
Are you getting IV sadation? Thanks for your reply Scarlet, I don't know what my dentist is going to do, I don't know if he even does IV sedation...I am not seeing him for awhile, I need to take a break and save up some more money too. I have already spent over $6000 for my fillings and have amassed a huge debt fighting candida for 3 years and an still not well enough to work. I have found a surgeon that specializes in cavitation removal, but he is on holidays right nowand is a ferry ride away...so I will look into seeing him when he comes back. It literally scares the hell out of me, my digestion is so poor, I think I have cancer already, the damned mercury!!! It makes me absolutely furious when I read how it has affected so many people and there is no one to hold accountable for it. I am so tired of eating only vegetables and chicken, but it is all I can digest, and even that is becoming a problem. Sorry but I am kind of a funk today, everything just seems so hopeless at times. Best luck tomorrow Sharon, I bet you will fly thru with flying colors, it appears you are in very good hands...I wish we had integrated clinics here, I can't seem to get a definite game plan from my dentist and I don't feel comfortable with him at all anymore. Sandi xoxo

Oh how right you are, I alternate between being angry and feeling sorry for myself, I have to work so hard just to have a bm every day....sorry if TMI but my digestion is so impaired. Russ, how long before you noticed a real improvement in your mental and emotional health? And did your digestion ever get better? I am looking forward to reading your story Russ, I love happy endings. Sandi

Scarlet, he doesn't do IV or conscious sedation, he just uses a local...and he doesn't do bone grafting...and if he won't remove my root canals, I will look elsewhere, I am not going to pay anymore $$$ to redo something that has made me so sick for so long...did you know that there may be mercury in them as well? In the gutta percha, the rubber that is inserted in place of the root...it likely has mercury too!!!!

THIS TEA IS GREAT FOR ACID REFLUX, NAUSEA, AND SERIOUS CONSTIPATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Hi Sandi,
I am terribly sorry it took me so long to get back to you!!! I had one thing wrong with me after another these past 4 days. It is actually a privelege to be able to feel healthy enough to be on this forum!
I know exactly how your feeling with all that mercury has caused you!!! I can relate to all the things you said and everyone else on this forum!!! My whole life was and still is consumed by what 3 quack dentists have done to me and has affected me must of my life!!! There are no words to discribe the intensity of my anger!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> So you don't have to apoligize for your anger. Theres nobody that understands this more than myself along with many others on this forum!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Iv'e suffered from mercury, including heavy metals from other toxic dental materials, 8 unsealed fillings, and 2 unsealed crowns that decayed and all caused bone loss . I also had toxic white composites, and painful Lingual/ Inferior Alveolar nerve damage.
Click to ANYONE HAD WORK DONE IN SAN DIEGO AREA, in this MERCURY SECTION OF THE FORUM to my 1st POST from SCARLET that says; THIS IS THE KIND OF LIFE I HAD DUE TO NEGLIGENCE, AND CORRUPT DENTAL PRACTICES!!! This will give you a good idea as to all the bad things that happened to me.
Also click to, HOW TO RESPOND TO THOUGHS IN DOUBT, in this MERCURY SECTION OF THE FORUM to my 2nd POST from SCARLET that says; NOT ONLY MERCURY AMALGAMS ARE TOXIC, BUT ALMOST ALL OTHER DENTAL MATERIALS. This will tell all about the most toxic to the most safest dental materials.
Also click to page 1 of DMPS AND SUICIDAL THOUGHTS, on this MERCURY SECTION OF THE FORUM, to my 1st POST from SCARLET that says; ATTENTION EVERYONE!!! THE LL'S MAGNETIC CLAY BATHS AND THE MOORBATH ARE EXCELLENT FOR DETOXING!!! Most of my mercury amalgam and heavy metal toxicity symtoms are gone because of these excellent baths.
Unfortunately, I'm suffering now from toxic white composites and nerve damage that gave me a whole new set of problems and symptoms.
For digestive problems (Acid reflux) and for serious constipation I made up this recipe. Make 2 cups of Decaffinated Green tea. Celestial seasonings is the tastest especially when mixed with their other kinds of teas!!! Grate 2 Tablespoons of fresh ginger root to put in your tea. It will be sharp tasting, but will be excellent for digestion problems, nausea, circulation, and for detoxing the colon. Squeeze 2 whole fresh lemons in the tea for detoxing the colon. Also add about 2 ounces of organic aloe vera juice in your tea for healing the colon. To sweeten add 2-4 Tablespoons of pure maple syrup. I love the way this tea tastes! Drink 1/2 of this on an empty stomach in the morning. Then do the same with the other 1/2 in the evening. Peppermint tea is suppose to be good for nausea as well.
Acid reflux and seriously bad irritable bowel syndrome are 2 of the many health problems I have, and this drink has been making me feel alot better!!! I believe I would have had colon cancer by now since I'm seriously constipated dayly if it wern't for this excellent detoxing tea!!! Although this tea is great tasting and great for detoxing, I drink another tea also to help for elimination; Senna leaves in hot water.
Although I don't like the way it tastes this seems to be the best thing that works for my constipation. Since you are not suppose to take it on an ongoing basis, I take it about once a week, because I feel I have too! If my liver was functioning properly I probably wouldn't have cronic constipation. The toxins from my amalgams and other heavy metals caused my liver to be sluggish before, and now the toxic white composites I have as a replacement is causing it to be even more sluggish than before. The liver helps the colon to contract and have bowel movements. Well mine doesn't hardly at all. It also regulates the thyroid, breaksdown food (even fiber), and detoxifys the body, all of which mine is hardly able to do anymore.
Its bad enough that the toxic metals tore down my immune system making my liver sluggish, but now I also have to contend with Bis-phenol A that is in these white Filtrex Supreme brand white composites of mine. Bis-phenol A is an estrogen behaving substance that can cause breast cancer, infertility, ( I'm already infertile!) and a whole lot of hormonal problems, even prostrate cancer in men. One of the many functions of the liver is that it also balances hormones and expells excess estrogen. How can mine do this if it is already damaged? It can't. If my liver is not functioning properly enough to get rid of a normal amount of estrogen than how much more trouble will it have to get rid of an overload of estrogen? As you can see, it is a vicous cycle!!!
The only way it will rejuvinate, is when I can round up enough courage and money to trust another dentist to get these toxic white composites out! Until then, I believe its better to take senna periodically in my case then to have a toxic colon that may cause colon cancer!!!
I also suggest taking, " Organika" full Spectrum plant Enzymes. This will help you digest your food. Each capsule contains 298 mg (protease) to digest protein, 52 mg (Amylase) to digest carbohydrates, 125 mg of (Lipase) to digest fats, and about 5mg each to digest milk sugar and fiber. Notice what types of foods are the most difficult to digest. If it is protein, than these are good enzymes to take. If you have a hard time digesting carbs, sugar, fiber, or dairy etc., there are all kinds of enzymes that are good for that as well. I believe that plant enzymes may be best.
Most people with heavy metal toxicity are lacking in natural enzymes and have a hard time breaking down proteins and amino acids. There are many "Nutrition Houses" all over Canada that I believe have the best prices out of all the other health food stores for most of their suppliments, so I'd probably get the enzymes there.
God bless you Sandra, I hope these suggestions will help you !!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Constipation is very common in people with mercury toxicity, as is acid reflux and other digestive problems. Magnesium supplements (especially magnesium citrate and/or magnesium malate - both very absorbable) are really helpful for a lot of people, because mercury interferes with the body's ability to utilize magnesium which causes people to be magnesium deficient. Magnesium deficiency will also contribute to muscle cramps and spasms, muscle twitches, anxiety, fatigue, high blood pressure, migraines, seizures, insomnia, astha...all kinds of health problems. Magnesium may also be helpful for acid reflux, as magnesium may help relax esophageal and stomach muscles that are tightened. Plus, magnesium is commonly found in many over-the-counter antacids. Scarlet has given you some great suggestions. Her tea sounds really good! Here's some more info about Senna and how it works, along with a few other herbs that are often combined with senna to help reduce the cramping effect it can have on some people (it has strong laxative effects). <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> For digestive enzymes, I use Proactazyme Plus, which is entirely plant-based and contains enzymes for digesting proteins, carbs, fats and the fiber in most fruits and vegetables. It also contains a base of herbs that are known for improving digestion, intestinal function, and liver/gallbladder activity. Keep us posted on your progress and let us know if your doctor finds anything.

..hi there...just a thought about sunny days making everyone miserable...and cloudy days make you feel better......I see a great mercury doctor(and i'm done my chelation)....but he's put me on low dose tetracycline(secondary infections caused by mercury)...and a different med to boost my immune system...And here's the most important thing....I have to STAY OUT OF THE SUN....and stay away from dairy....BECAUSE VIT D makes our bodies more inflammed....so our immune systems get boggled down...this is why we feel worse.......So if you stay out of the sun...wear hats, sunglasses always...and stop ingesting dairy....you'll begin to feel better, and you'll start healing....i've been doing this for 1 month...and i'm noticing changes....you might experience a herx reaction at first(makes you feel worse), but this than initiates healing........and with the juicing.....only use Organic vegetables/fruit....My dr. said if you use regular veg/fruit....your just juicing all the pesticides...and this can make you worse.....Hope this helps...thanks Sandra <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
