HI BEX, I JUST WANTED TO THANK YOU ALONG WITH ANONYMOUS, DAWN, DALLAS, DEMI, SANDIFLOOD, RUSS, LAURA, AND EVERYONE ELSE I FORGOT TO MENTION ON THIS FORUM FOR ALL THE HELPFUL INFORMATION YOU HAVE GIVEN!!! Porcelain is made out of 45% aluminum oxide and leaches out too, accordly to Dr. Huggins. Go to www.drhuggins.com Then click to Library. Then click to Dental materials in your mouth, then click to Porcelain crowns. Aluminum causes Altzeimers much like mercury so I wouldn't get it!!! I had it along with the amalgams and it would have killed me if I didn't get them removed in time. Also porcelain crowns have nickel in them on the inside which is cancer causing!!! I hate to be the one to tell you such bad news about porcelain. I have been reading alot of your posts and how frustrated you are, to say the least. I couldn't agree with you more, Bex!!! I am just as discusted!!! In fact I have had so many weared symptoms and cronic fatigue that it is hindering me from being able to be on this forum as much as I want to be!!! I'm sleeping 75% of my life away!!! I'd just like to thank you so very much for all your helpful information and all the posts that you have that has been so valuable to this forum!!! Your information along with Anonymous, Dawn, Dallas, Demi, SandiFlood, Russ, Laura, and everyone else I forgot to mention has been so valuable to me as well as for many other people I'm sure!!! I feel so rediculous about telling everyone about Biodent when the people there responded in such a negative way to you all! Now I'm afraid to get diamondcrown too!!! I hope Holistic gold from Zahn labs is honest. But who knows who is telling the truth!!! Thats why I told everyone to do more research on Diamondcrown and Holistic gold . I'm so glad that all of you did too! My father has some kind of high grade gold that must be safe, because he has been in excellent health until he was 75 years old. Then after a heart attack the doctors put him on more and more pharmaceutical drugs which made his health a lot worse since then. But even so, he has a better memory than any 20 year old and I'm not kidding!!! He is going to be 88 in a few months. So I believe that its not the gold thats making the rest of his body deteriate but the medications or else he would probably have Alzeimers by now. But who knows for sure. My mother is 10 years younger she is starting to get memory problems and has a mouth full of porcelain crowns. Theres alot of internet ads that I'm not sure are genuiene. I thought I was going to get toxic free composites as a replacement for my toxic metals accordnaly to the internet ad but didn't. I got toxic white composites instead! To me this is faudulent!!! Bex I sympathize with all the misery you have had to indure along with Anonymous, Dawn, Dallas, Demi, SandiFlood, Russ, Laura, and everyone else on this forum!!! I'm praying for you all and everyone that is suffering on this forum!!! Bex, I was wondering how do you type so many informative long posts so frequently and yet with good grammer also?! I admire your passion to help people so much!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR BEING SUCH A CARING AND SWEET PERSON!!! Theres so much to tell but I can't type fast enough because the toxic metals has damaged my writing skills. I scramble my words, mispell, and the grammer is so bad that no one would be able to understand it until I correct it at least 5-8 times!!! Its so frustrating because I always have a lot of information to share with people. I hope this isn't permanent! typing takes so much longer now because of this. Click to THIS HAS BECOME A CONSPIRACY THREAD; MATTEO, on this MERCURY SECTION OF THE FORUM, to MY POST from SCARLET that says, READ THIS SHOCKING INFORMATION (POST BY SCARLET). It has 15 reasons why I don't trust mosts dentists and organizations that support them. Zahn Labs claims that Holistic gold consists of approximately 86% gold, 16% platinum, and less than 1% iridium which is toxic but doesn't oxidize or leach out in the mouth. Dissimilar metals in the same mouth causes electroylsis. But I read that when it is mixed as an alloy it doesn't cause this, except for the exception of mercury fillings since it is so soft and oxidizes so easily and leaches out. Aluminum is also very soft so it oxidizes and leaches out as well. For example; mercury fillings, porcelain crowns with the nickel inside all in the same mouth will cause electrolysis. Gold is safe, but not when it is in the same mouth with amalgams fillings, porcelain crowns, and nickel . This is what I found, but I'm wondering if they are telling the truth about how safe alloys are in gold! Who knows what the truth is anymore! Just as I tell everyone, continue to do your on research! I know I have to do more research on this. www.pubmed.com is a huge medical library that will probably have a lot more information on dental materials! Oh just wanted to tell you that B 12 must be taken in food form, or in natural suppliments that contain B 12 found in herbs. B 12 should always be taken at the same time as the other B's. Also taking B 12 in a vitamin form will make the mercury alot more toxic after amalgam removal. I tryed it once and boy did I feel toxic! B 12 is ok in vitamin form only before amalgam removal, but not after. But then again, it is always much better to take natural suppliments than synthetic man made vitimans. Also selinium should be taken with vitamin E at the same time for better absorption. I noticed you have been advising people about this, so I just wanted to let you know. God bless you, and I hope through all of us on this forum doing our research, we can finally find the safest dental material for everyone!!!!!!

Good to hear from you, Scarlet. I had been wondering where you were and hoping everything was alright. I thank you also for all your information. Whether or not Diamondlite is ok is still unknown. I don't trust a company that treats me the way they have. But maybe they think I am a competing company in disguise, trying to get at their secret formula.

Hi Bex,
I have cerec restoraions and dont think ive had any reactions so far, just usual mercury symptoms that are up and down. To be quite honest I dont think that there is anything "safe" to put in your teeth its just a personal choice or unfortunately in some cases the only economically viable option.
My dentist told me that cerec is the latest technology from the far east and it really is amazing to watch your tooth get made before your eyes, he said it is the safest method/material in existance and has studied extensively in the US etc. But who do you believe? My old dentist laughed when i wanted my amalgams removed and said they are harmless. Infuriates me. I pray that you are fortunate enough to find the least harmful replacements.

Hi Scarlet, well thank you for such a kind and complimentary post! wow. Hard for me to know what to say to that, so without sounding gushy, I am touched.
I think that things have gotten so bad for me heatlhwise, that I have literally become glued to my computer as my only outlet and source of life. I can sit here often in a stupor toxic state, yet my fingers are nimble and I use them to express myself, as I do not do in reality. So people get the impression I'm normal, yet if they saw what was on the other end of this screen much of the time, I think a few jaws would drop (I can imagine many of you knw exactly what I'm saying).
But what you said about sleeping your life away almost? I am doing this a lot now too, and wanting to sleep or I feel drugged, or I'm in a hyped up fearful state with racing heart. So it's all just overwhelming daily now. I get on this website and it's probably my life now and a little sanity for me and others on here, like yourself are very giving and help a lot, so what you put out, I guess you're getting back because it encourages people like me.
So thank you all too.
As for the dental materials? I have sat on this computer searching up just about everything and I have wanted to tear my hair out. No matter what material I search for, plastic, porcelain, there are drawbacks and concerning ones too. I find out that every material has metals, even the ones who claim not to. What I don't understand is, I was told aluminium oxide is not toxic. Our own skeleton is made up with it and it's in baking powder and even an ordinary garden salad. that we get less aluminium exposure from porcelain in a lifetime than we get from the foods we eat (cheese also).
So this confuses me why it's been told it's toxic! I can understand it being toxic when it's in direct contact with different metals like mercury or others, because it creates a battery effect in the mouth (as do any opposing metals) and then creates havoc and sets of a toxic reaction.
If a person has porcelain with aluminium oxide and doesn't have mixed metals in their mouth, they would be unlikely to have a problem from what I heard from Walter Clifford who runs the serum compatibility testing in USA and is aware of dental materials and what is contained.
He told me that metals are even contained in denture acrylic and the question to ask is, not if they contain metals, but what form the metals are in and to make sure when you get dental materials, not to get different ones in the same mouth to start of different chemical reactions. He seems to feel that is the danger.
So I have NO idea anymore. I did come across a material that a lot of biocompatible dentists are taking on which is called unshaded Dicor (I think it's a "metal free" porcelain and doesn't contain aluminium) but it's weaker and isn't as natural looking because the colour of it lacks the pigment of the other ones. So i'm looking at that one now.
Plastics also concern me for other reasons. So what is one to do? I would seriously prefer a restorative material that was GREEN if it would just be non toxic. I honestly don't care about how it looks in my molars, I don't want around with my mouth wide open and I just wish they would stop focussing on the perfect looking material because I'm sure they put more toxic stuff into get it to look like that, so they get paid for people wanting the ideal "smile".
anyway, I'm just stumped basically, but do appreciate your response about the porcelain, but I'm sure you can see that sometimes the aluminium oxide is not to blame, but "could" be the direct galvanic effect from it working with the amalgam in your mouth.
However, what you said still concerns me a lot. I just do not know what to do.
thanks anyway and I wish there were answers for all of us. It's just incredible.
take care and God bless

I emailed Walter Clifford with the materials that were used in my mouth and although they contain aluminium and fluoride, he says they are perfectly safe and the company that made it were very good. When i went back to my dentist complaining about the materials used he just said i was the first person to complain. Bex, i know what your going through cos im the same, i spend most of my time trying to find answers on the internet, its my life now. I have become so tired lately, this is unusual for me, i normally suffer with insomnia. I wonder if it is cavitations or mercury causing this.

Scarlet,
Know this is an old post but I think I'm where you were back then- struggling with the aluminum oxide debate- Huggins verses Clifford... Galvanization possibilities with metals. Although my blood serum tested highly reactive ( I question the validity of this test, btw), my doctor recommends empress crowns.
Please update me on what you did and why and how things are going. I would appreciate hearing from you. It may help my decision process.

Why does your doctor want to give you crowns rather than fillings ? Crowns are far bigger and therefore have more poison than fillings . Crowns also cause periodontal disease and often lead to the death of the tooth followed by toxic root canals. Mercury is the most toxic material so anything is an improvement.

My molars have very large amalgman fillings and cracks in the teeth with probably decay under the fillings which usually leak. Some of my teeth are sore to bite with from time to time. Dentist said I better do something about this. When these amalgmans are taken out, the structure of the tooth will require a crown- I guess for support. Some of the teeth may not need crowns.

truth.seeker It is a total myth that crowns provide "support" that would not be provided by large fillings . Crowns weaken your teeth and require the removal of much more of a tooth than a filling . Dr Jerome's book "Tooth Truth" has several pages explaining why you should not get crowns. Even if you have some fractures , fillings are better than crowns. Most fractures are caused by amalgam fillings because they expand continuously eventually cracking teeth . Gold fillings and ceramics do not expand and crack teeth . Composites often shrink on teeth and cause fractures.
