Does anyone feel better at certain times of the day? I feel pretty dreadful during the day (foggy head, depression, headaches, tiredness) but as soon as the sun goes down I feel like a new person (much happier, clearer head, more energy) Does anyone else feel like this or know the reason why?

I also feel better when the sun goes down. It is similar to another post from a while ago when everyone was talking about the weather and many on this forum said that they preferred grey rainy days over bright sunny days.
I think with me it hinges on 'light'. I cannot stand bright lights which is of course a mercury symptom. I find that if I leave home for work and it is a dreary day that I feel okay but when I get to the office and am surrounded by fluoro lighting the anxiety and brain fog gets nasty.
Has anybody heard any theories as to why mercury toxic people have an aversion to light ? Mercury build up in the retina or something ??

Yes, mercury poisoned people are light sensetive. I still am to a degree although my eyes have got a bit better. I feel better when its night also, its like i can escape from the pressures of this illness and go to bed and hopefully sleep.

same goes for me. I was just talking to my husband that I love when it is overcast, grey and rainy and how he thinks it's depressing...I don't know if it's because it matches my mood or if it actually helps my eyes to feel better. I think a little bit of both. I would be interested to see how mercury effects the eyes because that is my number one place I am affected. I have blurry vision and I just don't feel like I percieve the world correctly through my eyes. Is the ALA and the cilantro supposed to help get the mercury out of the eyes?

I LOVE cloudy, grey skies. The sunshine makes my eyes do weird things and gives me double vision. Also, I do think it has to do with the grey skies mirroring my mood. Not necessarily depression, although I do get depressed, but moreso because grey skies are subdued and calm while sunny skies kinda jangle my nerves.

The symptoms you describe seem to point to adrenal fatigue. If you were to check into the adrenal fatigue symptom list, you would find many related to weather. Because the adrenals are part of the endocrine system, they seem to be targeted by mercury. The adrenals are part responsible for muscle tone in the body including the eye muscles.

Oh, Thanks, GaryS. Maybe that is why I have double vision. I will have to look into adrenal issues.
