Me too. I used to get really bad chest pains as a kid and young adult. I don't get them any more, but I did not take notice as to when they stopped. I had my fillings replaced about 8 months ago and take magnesium now. The magnesium, aside from other things, has stopped my heart from racing which it used to do. I take CoQ10 which stops my heart from flip flopping which it used to do all the time. As to whether or not magnesuim and CoQ10 helped the pain, I don't know as the pain used to come and go.

Hi clare, about 4 to 6 weeks after I had my amalgam fillings removed, I started to get bad chest pains. It just came on suddenly sometimes I would have it right across my chest sometimes on the right side and often on the left. When it was on the left of my chest it was quiet frightening as I thought there was maybe something wrong with my heart. One day when I was particularly sore, I went to my local hospital and they did and ECG check on me - which was fine by the way. I also felt I had trouble breathing which along with the chest pains was very alarming.
I had the chest pains on and off for about a month or so, and it was horrible, they just eventually went away, I didn't really take anything for it - oh other than my normal multi vitamin trying to relax seemed to help although thats not easy when your in pain, I think after I had an ecg check I felt more reassured.
I am utterly convinced this was caused by getting my fillings out, I didn't take the precautions you are suppose to when you get them removed, so I think I must of had tons of mercury floating around me. If you look up symptoms of people affected by mercury, chest pains is often one of them.
I often use a detox footbath and think that this has helped a lot, and often have a steamy bath in Epsom Salts which is relaxing and calming. I still only occasionly feel I have trouble breathing, and sometimes have a problem with low blood sugar which makes me very dizzy and queasy, again I have only had this since my fillings were removed, but, and I hope I am not tempting fate, the chest pains have went away.
Hopefully this will happen to you too, <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> Have you had the chest pains checked out at your Doctors?
