Yes, I have. It does seem to help. I am able to get it from my local health food store here in Massachusetts.

I love cocnut oil, its good for candida aswell. I have creamed coconut in alot of things. I think this is helping me put weight back on. I never knew it was good for the thyroid.

Forgot to log in on the last post.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> I think coconut oil really helped me turn a corner while I was fighting candida...(before I knew about mercury) I think it is great stuff!!!

I use coconut oil too, love the stuff. One suggestion is to look for unrefined/unproccessed oil. You can really taste (and smell) the difference.
Cheers .. Karen

Sandi,
Unfortunately, I feel the same as pre-removal. I'm just doing chlorella and algin for a mild chelation at the moment, and I don't know where to go from here. I have a doctors appointment in less than two weeks, and we will figure it out then. My doctor likes to use Calcium EDTA as his first method of chelation (both oral capsules and IV pushes), and then move on to DMSA capsules. As I mentioned in another post, I'm not sure what to think of that or what to do.....Anyone have experience with Calcium EDTA? It's a newer method according to the readings I've done - I guess doctors have begun switching over from a different form of EDTA, which was ineffective in chelating mercury. Whether or not this kind chelates the mercury is debatable though....
And I'm not sure what else I should be taking. I've forgotten about Vit C lately and will start taking that again. I'm considering Selenium, but waiting to see what my doctor says. Any other advice for me on what to take? I'm on Krill Oil, probiotics, a great multi, Nystatin, and Primal Defense at the moment...but most of that is geared toward the candida.
~Tia
