News you won't see in controlled mainstream media.

Well for those stateside nbc is running a special on effects from exposure of mercury filings in the mouth.I think it starts at 6 pm est.just thought i would let everyone know,i can't wait to see what they are gonna speak of.

I wish this was shown here in UK.

Oh I hope it is not all sugar coated, but I am fearful it might be...but I will try and be optimistic..thanks for the heads up!!!

This time i don't think it's a coverup story it actually shocked me when i saw the preview,i have a prior engagement,so i don't know if i will be able to view the whole program.
I hope someone here is gonna tune in,and have some feed back,and hpefully some useful info from this.

I can't wait to see this, I hope they are swamped with emails, here is our chance guys...we have to let them know how devastating and widespread this is...if they know that the majority of the public stands behind them, they might have the guts to stand up to the dentists.

The recent article from Time magazine didn't say diddly squat about fillings or vaccines, because if all the dentists and drs stopped subscribing to it, it would cut their circulation in half!!!! In the top right hand corner of the page on this link is an email address you can click on.....

I just watched a liitle 2 minute blurb on msnbc... was that what the special was or is there a longe version of it?

i didn't see the entire thing,cuople things they left in that wasn't edited out is a good sign.
I am alking about the dentist who says he believes mercury affects us in the worst way wich is why he refuses to use it on his patients,and the lady who described her iillnesses,like thyroid poblems etcc,which was resolved after her removal.
Not as muuch info as i thought it would be because offcourse thada spokesperson had their conflicting results from bogus tests,which she claims the vapor released from amalgam is so littkle it is impossible it can affect the body.
Well i am told their is gonna be alot of these programs which will lead to the big bombshell within the next 3-5 yrs,it's a start so we'll se what comes of it when they finally confess.

if you read halfway down the page and click on "FDA debate on mercury fillings," a small window will open up with short video in it, very short...but it is a beginning...at least it is getting media attention.

I emailed them my story...and before and after pics and the panoramic shot of my teeth where you can see that mercury leached into my teeth surrounding the amalgams. HOpe others do the same, we need the big press to know that we want more of the same.

How comes mercury is a poisonous substance except when its in someones teeth?

Way to go Dawn, and I am sure you are still a good mum...and soon when you are in good health...you can do all sorts of things with your kids that you missed before.

thanks for the link....the woman that claims that the vapor released from amalgam is so small it is impossible it can affect the body...it makes you wonder if she got paid off by the ADA or something or if she has even read anything on the subject! The ADA and FDA have dug themselves into such a hole that they are afraid to get out of it because of MONEY. They are playing with our lives and they are worried about money. Ugh! it makes me so sick! The funny thing is, I guarantee that no one at the ADA or FDA even has amalgams in their mouths because they know the truth.

My old dentist has a mouthful. He believes in the safety of amalgams implicitly. He also has nerve damage in his arms and some emotional problems. His daughter has Crohn's and his wife, fibromyalgia. And, don't get me wrong. He is also one of the kindest people you would ever want to meet. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

One way they could ban it is to follow some European countries who have banned it either on a precautionary side or as an environmental issue.

I think that here in the UK a lot of dentists are avoiding amalgams. Every dentist here in my town used them 10 years ago, but now they seem to be in the minority. Even my old dentist now has left the NHS and no longer uses amalgam. He also would not do any work on mine unless it was vitally necessary (which I didn't appreciate at the time, but now do). So, I think he knew about the issue, but didn't say anything to me because he didn't want to frighten me or get into trouble or whatever.

It "may" be true that only a small amount leaks out from the fillings, but they have to look at many factors in determining whether amalgam is poisonous. For example:

1. Exposure at insertion. Amalgam doesn't set for 24 hours. There is thus a lot of exposure.

2. Continued exposure daily (in micro amount) from every amalgam placed

3. High exposure at removal.

Now add to that biological variances:

1. Some people have biological sensitivity to toxins

2. Some people have biological sensitivity to heavy metals

3. Some people are slow excreters of toxins

4. Some people are non-excreters of toxins

5. Some people are gentically predisposed to conditions that exposure to mercury can trigger

Then consider:

1. Mercury is second most toxic material on Earth to humans. Therefore, amalgan is innately toxic because it contains the second most toxic material on the planet. When a filling is removed from the mouth, it's disposed of as "Toxic Waste". If it is "toxic waste" when removed, it is "toxic" when it is in. They can't have it both ways.

2. No safe amount of exposure has ever been proven

So, in all, those who support amalgams, are failing to look at the bigger picture. They are failing to consider the intial exposure at insertion, the continued exposure for life of filling, the exposure at dental work, and the individual biological components of the person.

In other words, they are exposing their patients to the second most toxic material on the planet, and playing Russian Roulette in the sense that they have no way of knowing how this potent neuro-toxin will affect that person i.e. how well their body can excrete it, how well their body can resist it, how much will be accumulated in the body, and how long it will take to exhibit signs of toxicity.
