Hi Tracy,
I also suffered terribly with this, if you dont mind me asking what makes you anxious, particular things or everything in general, have you or do you have panic attacks?

I have suffered terribly with this. For me i was scared of everything from morning til night. the only way out for me was sleeping pills or anti anxiety drugs. i tried 5htp and herb teas but they made no difference. It will taper off, mine has done considerably, although i still get the odd day. I promise you, you wont feel like this forever.

It all goes back to the adrenal/thyroid issue,i am having pretty bad times with it also. I am learning alot about how the adren/thyroid work, and the main thing adrenals control are the fight or flight(panic/anxiety).

I had horrific anxiety, mental racing just like you describe, and it turned out to be related to multiple chemical sensitivity - which probably resulted from longterm mercury exposure. At the time, the panic turned out to be triggered by new carpet and I was much better when I moved out of the apartment. Since then, I find the same symptoms get triggered by petrochemicals/synthetics such as certain finishes on furniture and some plastics.

Hi Tracy! I got my last poison fillings out in March. For years, since I was a kid, I had this forboding anxiety. Not real bad but enough to make me socially shy. I also had that mild depression stuff that allows you to function but like a zombie. Now I've noticed that in the past few months I have hardly any anxiety left and I use algin everyday. I recently took a 2 day doses of ALA and I felt very anxious and nervous like the old days. That was a GREAT discovey so now I know for certain that it's been the Mercury all the time. Now I have to arrange a schedule to begin taking ALA per Cutler. The more we group mind the better for us.
