I have now had two quarters of my amalgams removed. The main thing that I have noticed is the head tingling thing which I have I never experienced before but it is reassuring to hear that it happens to others.
The other symptom that I have been experiencing is mouth ulcers which I haven't had for years and years. When I was a kid - maybe between the ages of 7 - 13 I used to get really nasty mouth ulcers all the time. Then probably from about the age of 16 or so they stopped completely until now. Funny really as this was also about the same time when I had my 23 amalgams placed.
Has anybody else experienced mouth ulcers after amalgam removal ?
Also in regards to the head tingling thing for me, it doesn't feel like it is on the inside. It feels more like a neuralgia that extends over one side of my face and head. When it happens if I just touch this area very lightly it is quite painful. I have found the seven day immune response thing very interesting with this neuralgia. It started the same night as my amalgam removal, disappeared for the next 6 days, came back on the 7th day, disappeared the next and then came back with a vengence on the 14th day. Mmm interesting.

Concerning your pain across your face, you may want to check this site out. http://www.drshankland.com/pain_disorders_tmj.htmlI get mouth sores as well but I still have 3 amalgams. Mouth sores for me always surface when my TMJ is bad or Fibromyalgia acts up or I am under stress. I would not doubt the sores are a way of your body trying to detox. Hope this helps some. Veg

Okay now,not every pain in the jaw is a cavitation, stop scaring people who are already nervous lol.I got jaw pain also, but it could be from the fact my mouth was wide open for almost 2 hours.

I have what I call canker sores from time to time. I read that vitamin B1 was good for this, so each time I start having them again, I take 100mg of B1 for a while and it works.
As far as the TMJ, that is an indicator of a magnesium deficiency. The muscles in your jaw are contracting. Mercury interfers with magnesium, so we all need to take extra. My TMJ went completely away several years ago.
