If she was ugly ,would her suicide be unimportant? You rarely hear anything about the physical appearance of a man who kills himself or is murdered.

never underestimate deep psychological causes also as a major factor. You (tracy) are assuming far too much! You don't have the complete picture and therefore blaming "them" seems trite. eg. "Was she sexually abused?????" if not, do you know for sure? Please don't use this forum to spew out anything that comes to mind.

That is very sad Tracy! Isn't it great that you have got to the bottom of your issues and are going to be able to sort it! I think this forum is a good place to spew out what's on your mind! Particularly if you are prepared to put your name on it! Jid.

Beautiful does not neccessarily relate to physical appearance! When I refer to a beautiful person I'm thinking of how they make me feel, nothing to do with what they look like!

Yes it is a sad loss of a life at only 15. Sadly, it's one of the most common causes of death (suicide). Nobody knows what is the final straw, a person can often be suffering inwardly for years and could have exhausted many avenues and often when a person is mentalyl ill (or ill by toxicity), it is very hard to keep them going, as you're pretty much attempting to talk to their toxicity, or again it coudl have been some other circumstance (private).
Certainly, it's not always the fault of the medical profession either. I think a lot of the time they too are working in the dark.
I'd challenge anybody who said "i could never do that, I would never do that". I'd say to them, "are you better or stronger than those who did?" , none of us are immune.

Please also consider how you come across when you don't agree with people. It's totally fine to disagree with people, speak your point of view, give constructive criticism, etc.....but please try not to come across as an attack. First of all, it's simply respectful. Second of all, if you want someone to truly hear you, then you don't want to start off on the attack or with a harsh criticism. All that does is put people on the defensive and your chances of being truly heard are lost.
Being a feminist that works with sexual assault survivors, I understand the points made above. But discussing those points is better than forcing them on someone, especially when Tracy did not mean any harm with her concern for that girl.

thankyou for that reply i was totally shocjked when i read those replies, and felt i was being personally attacked for making a statement that was just meant to show how sad I felt for her and her family. Why do people have to come on here and attack people for showing that they care about others. People on this forum who know me will understand what I was trying to say and thanks to those of you who really hurt me and made my day crap.

When i first read Tracys post, i never thought about the looks of the girl, it never came to mind. i just imagined this girl with her life in front of her. beautiful isnt always how something looks and tracy wasnt refering to that.

Tracy,
no harm intended, but in your original post you attacked, you wanted to direct blame. All i'm saying is lets not jump to conclusions about whose to blame without nowing the whole story. How would her doctor feel if he read your post? would he feel good? What if he did all he could with what he had.
...again, meant you no harm, sorry it came over harsh
