Hi,
I need something that I can take for a few weeks while I finish up this semester until I can get my fillings out. It's getting so bad that I can't get assignments done- major brain fog and tiredness. Anything that can temporarily help so I can finish this semester? I'm hoping to get my fillings out over the Christmas break.
Thanks for any help you can give!!!

Well, some people on here take algin, which is suppose to help mop/absorb mercury inside a person. You can also knock out all the foods that make a mercury toxic person far worse, which is sugar, gluten and yeast, plus possibly even natural sugar foods like fruit and milk temporarily.
Supplements that can help are vitamin C (get a good powdered one), vitamin B complex, zinc, magnesium, vitamin E, and possibly selenium and milk thistle.
And making sure you have a lot of good fats too, as well as protein. Fats to have are extra virgin olive oil, organic coconut oil, and butter. you can use these in cooking and/or on your foods. Plus healthy fish oils (mercury free, a good brand is blue ice and a good fish oil from them is the cod liver oil and taking about a teaspoon a day).
Eating things like meat and eggs and healthy vegetables are good too. Excluding potatoes, as they are high in natural sugar. But depending on how far you wish to go to lessen your toxins and possible yeast.
The body will usually have a candida problem in any immune/toxic condition. This can be very bad and can even cause many of the same symptoms as mercury and even overtake it in some cases. This is why anybody should try and follow a candida diet. problem is, most people cannot stay the course and keep cheating or give up too early and do not get results. You will only get results if you stick with it and do not cheat, but it can take a while to improve and some get a little worse temporarily as the toxins start to come out of you.
I wish I could give more suggestions to you, but sometimes the simplest are the best (diet and supplements). Anything else may not be wise as it could just be too overwhelming to you.

I am taking Chlorella, Vitamin C w/ Bioflavinoids, Yeast Cleanse, and Oreganol Juice. The Oreganol is a juice of wild oregano. It is the most terrible tasting stuff you will ever have in your life. My dentist turned me on to it, to build up my immune system for removal (which hasn't happened yet), but I will religiously take this stuff for a long time to come. It makes me want to vomit, though. I am starting to get used to it some, now. If you hold it in your mouth and then make yourself swallow, it's all the better. It has helped tremendously with my brain fog, and I can sleep soundly at night. It has helped a bunch with the burning in my mouth, also. It is a fantastic cleanser!

I would love to have some Algin, but I don't have any yet.

Hi Daisy, Go to www.dermamed.com. Then click to Specialty products. Then click to Moorbath. This deep peat clay bath is excellent and I believe it saved my life before I got all my almalgams removed!!! Even though I was highly toxic, it got rid of all the sick sadated feelings. So I used it every 3 days. I rubbed the clay on my feet and let it dry. Then I soaked my feet in hot water for about a 1/2 hour. It is very effective, yet gentle! PLEASE NOTE; if you have high blood pressure, then do not take the Moorbath. After amalgam removal, I used the LL's magnetic clay baths. The directions come with the clay. Although this clay is more mild than the Moorbath, it too works excellent. You can find it at Alive and Aware Natural Health E bay store. I would also do what Bex said to do also. I hope this helps you, Good luck!!!

Thanks everyone for all the advice. Where do you guys get algin from? I keep reading that you shouldn't start chelating till after amalgam removal, is it ok to take algin before they are out?

Hi Daisy, Algin is fine to take before removal because it's not a chelator. In other words, it won't pull mercury out of your teeth or tissues like things like ALA or cilantro. Instead, Algin will simply pass through the stomach into the colon, where it will absorb toxins and heavy metals such as mercury, and prevent these things from being reabsorbed back into the body. Algin is a non-digestible fiber that has a particular affinity for heavy metals. It's even used to help with toxic spills and contaminated wastewater cleanup and such. Algin forms a thick gel that is great for absorbing things, so try to take it at a different time than other vitamins or herbal supplements. I take 4 at night before I go to bed and then another 3 to 4 once or twice during the day in between meals (which is when I take my other supplements). You can get Algin through our sister-website: OnlyTheBestHerbs.comOr, feel free to call our toll-free number if you're in the U.S. or Canada (1-800-358-4278) or 716-487-9502 everywhere else. If you're located outside the U.S., you won't be able to order through our website at this time. Please call or email me at laura@herballure.com Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions,
