I found this story on the mercurypoisoned.com website, and it kind of stuck in my mind. It's long, but I thought I'd share it here. I can only begin to imagine what this woman went through, and how terrified she must have been. http://www.mercurypoisoned.com/Healed_of_MS.docThis mercury is evil evil stuff. I am SO fatigued today - day 2 of a DMSA round, very strict candida diet for 6 weeks now, and the temptation to cheat is almost overwhelming, especially coming up to Christmas. I have managed to resist so far, but I don't know for how long. I am longing for a cup of tea with milk, a piece of cheese, or even a piece of dark chocolate ... Sorry - this got completely off topic. You can tell what's on my mind, can't you!! Nicola

It really depresses me that ppl consider these 'officially' diagnosed named diseases as something they could do, learn, or understand little about.
When infact, online we have access to more *global* knowledge, scientific data, personal experiences and alternative options than any single doctor / practice / health authority.
Perhaps the weight of information is just too overwhelming for ppl... they would rather stick in a static belief system, even if they are suffering terribly. Its something of a taboo to be one's own doctor, to take that big Responsibility. So ppl prefer the 'humility' of Acceptance. (With a dose of One Day They Will Find The Cure thrown in...) To hell with that! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />
Anyway... yes it is hard to stick to the diet but u really have to. I do like a cup of tea, and have discovered that organic RICE MILK does the job just fine. It is now stocked in most supermarkets [here in UK] and keeps up to 7 days in the fridge. Cant comment on soya, its been years since i had that. 'Oat' milk i found somewhat disgusting, the consistency just isnt right lol.
Take care Virago
