[color:"brown"]In this project, we are sending documents to dentists that explain and prove the issues of mercury toxicity as they relate to amalgam fillings. These documents will be mailed to every dental office in the world that still uses mercury-based fillings. This is the goal.[/color]

In sending this information to dentists, we hope to accomplish two things:

• (1) To inform dentists that mercury really does come from amalgam fillings and cause health issues in hopes that they will stop using mercury-amalgam, and
• (2) Make the dentists liable for damages related to amalgam fillings (put them into a corner) by preventing them from claiming ignorance. Would this notification cause a lawsuit to hold up in court? It's hard to say, but if the information supplied is directly from accepted scientific sources, it just might.

Is This Unreasonable?

So long as dentists continue to place amalgam fillings, it's obvious that they are refusing to actually look at the scientific literature. They are—instead—blindly believing their advocate organization (The ADA) against all common sense and the vast preponderance of medical literature.

Of course, it's our position that if you believe that putting mercury into the volatile environment of the mouth does not pose a health hazard, you lack common sense and are unfit to practice in any medical field. If you continue to place amalgam fillings, you are causing great harm.

The American Dental Association (ADA) has already disclaimed their liability by making this statement:


There are also some that have stated that the ADA has made tremendous amounts of money from patents they hold on amalgam fillings. (see http://herballure.com/adapatents ). How much have they profited on our suffering?

So, is it unreasonable to encourage or even force dentists to stop using a highly toxic substance in the practice of dentistry? Absolutely not. In fact, it's long overdue that the dentists and ADA both be called into accountability.


The Documents

The documents we're sending are, as of yet, undetermined, but we will consider some of the information provided by the IAOMT, including their point-by-point rebuttal of the recent study that was widely publicized falsely showing that amalgam causes no health effects. We will have to obtain their permission before using their materials. We are open to suggestions.

I run a CAS/volunteer class here in Belgrade, and I was thinking that there is maybe something that I can have my high school students do here overseas. We would just have to figure out what would be best thing to volunteer to do due to the shipping, etc...

Let me know if you have any ideas, and in September when school starts I would be happy to involve our students if they would like to help. It would be great if I had anything to show them on amalgams, such as any dvd/s videos, etc...Any ideas? I think it would make them more passionate if they understood how this affects people. Most of us on this forum feel strongly about it because we have suffered so much, but I want others to see that this is a real threat to health!

There is a video that I have called Quecksilber that is made by a dentist in Australia. It's very good and informative. Perhaps I can find a way to get you a copy. Would that work?

I would love to have the help but I also realize that not being local to the area that the mailing will be conducted is an issue.

I see this project as having volunteers that get sent a stack of literature (we could print this). They would stuff, stamp and address envelopes and send them off.

The coordination would involve having a private, password protected website that enables a volunteer to "claim" a block of dental office addresses that they will send to. When the letter is sent, that address will be timestamped as being sent to.

Stamps and envelopes will be purchased by donations and sent to the volunteer as well.

There is more to it but I think this gives a general idea.

Please share any ideas you may have about making this a success and as always, if anyone is interested in participating, please contact me anytime.

Hi Russ,
Depending on my health next year, I might consider doing the mail-out for New Zealand. Not sure how many dentists that would inolve, but with a population of around 4 million people, there can't be a huge number.
Perhaps someone else in NZ might like to share this task. I wouldn't mind co-ordinating.
BUT, it does depend on how well I am.
I see a toxicologist at the end of January, and with 15 large amalgams to sort out, not sure what will happen.
Let me know when you are ready to go.
P.S. New Zealand pretty much closes down for two weeks over Christmas, for our summer holidays, so nothing much can happen before the end of January.
