Hi, I don't think I can improve on Russ' link there, but I can say this much. Vitamins and minerals are usually fine, but sulfur amino acids like cysteine, methionine, and garlic etc, chlorella, lipoic acid, msm, are not. They have an affinity for mercury and will mobilise it and possibly move it into more sensitive areas.
Basic vitamins and minerals are ok, as they are not direct chelators.

I beg to differ on this one Bex, I thrive on MSM and do very well with n'acetyl cysteine...and garlic and other sulfurous foods...but what is good for me, may not necessarily work for another. Smitho.....Check out mercury toxicity and B12 or do a google search, there are 2 kinds of B12, and most mercury toxic folks need more B12....... just not on the chelation days. Sandi xoxox

Sorry Bex, I didn't read the whole thread, I just read your response that came in my email...I didn't realize Smitho's mum still had her fillings in.
I am in such a rush lately, I just skim my emails, I have chemo again tomorrow and I am so far behind, I think I am in first place. I have do get prepared as I don't feel top of the mornin' for the first few days after.
best love, Sandi xoxo

Vit c will reduce hg's ability to enter cells. Bioflavinoids help keek hg from crossing the blood brain barrier. Charcoal helps expel hg.
