i went to this clinic today for a cavitat scan turns out i have 3 cavitations but wen he looked at my fillings he asked who did them as one of the ingrediants was silver i had my amalgam removal done by hesham el essawy but the dentist said its not the type of material you would put in a mercury toxic person and that biocompatability testing was not proven to be accurate he said there is a blood test i could have to see wether my immune system is reacting towards the silver now im confused coz i really believed cavitations was my problem and that still could be the whole problem so im getting that done first i cant detox coz i got to many toxins in my body and he said that im not excreting mercury at all at that its just sticking to me organs today has been the worst of my life the traveling was horrific i had a panic attack and started to get really nausea i felt like i was being possessed sorry to bore everyone but im so confused about everythin and feel so bad i just cant wait to have these cavitations cleaned out hopefully then my body can start to heal properly.

how did they know you have silver in your fillings.
surely hesham would know not to put metal in the fillings.
he told me his fillings are metal free.

do you mean that the vega testing. has not been proven to be accarate.

i was going to go to them before hesham. but the use no rubber.dam. or anything to block the throat.. but i think they do use a mercury vapour analizer..

hope dr hesham comes online to sort this one out!

im not sure how he knew that silver was one of the materials but i think he does have a mercury vapour analizer or somthin simular and yes he was talking about the vega testing not being accurate but im sure they use rubber dam cause they asked if hesham used one so i asumed they did im as worried as you are i feel like a guinea pig being tested on i just dont know what to believe anymore

clare, did Hesham tell you the name of the composite filling he used on you? If not you could ask Hesham what the name of the composite filling was. Then do a search for an Material Safety Data Sheet on the internet and that should tell you what is in the filling.

In my opinion, it seems rather careless for a mercury-free dentist that is removing amalgams not to use a rubber dam. I mean .... I'd think that a dentist would want to use every protective measure that is available even to the point of redundancy to try and avoid mercury exposure when removing amalgams.

Thats quite worrying. I was planning on seeing hesham for my removal of amalgams and thought the composites would be metal free.

i will check it out maybe the other dentist got it wrong i will phone hesham tomorrow

Try not to worry Clare, you have enough to think about with the cavitations, whatever your fillings are right now prolly ain't going to make that big a difference. Most important thing is you don't torture yourself with the what-ifs and can try and rest and recuperate, Y'all been through an awful lot a stress.
Arnica 200 twice a day for shock is unbeatable and can't hurt at all, you can order it from Helios Homeopatic , and get a good night's sleep by whatever means.

You could ask the dentist at the munro hall clinic why he thought silver was in the fillings. Was he just making a wild guess or did he have some testing procedure he used?

Thats it.I would say do exactly what Richard says and this will clarify alot. If their is no evidence or sufficient reason to suggest then it could just be an assumption.

Sometimes I wonder if dentists are like a bunch a over-educated, overpaid hairdressers who want to know who cut your hair last just so as they can tell ya what a bad job they did and ya shoulda come to them first.

I know how difficult things can be. When I was well no matter how stressfull things got I never felt as bad as I do now. I just feel panic for no reason and spend most of my time trying to calm it down and relax.

EyeQ has helped this but its not a cure. you just have to take it a step at a time. Im going to see a CBT Therapist. They deal with all problems and will change your behaviour and help understand whats going on and why and what you can do.

Did an NHS doc advise you on CBT? One psychiatrist told me it's just a fancy term for positive thinking. There's no way anything like that could help me, because i'd just be too aware that it's poisons that are screwing up my thoughts, and the thought of sitting in front of a therapist who knows nothing about what most of us know on this forum, disturbs me. It depends what your problems and situation is, but ANY therapy made me feel more suicidal, because they just had no clue how i am affected, or most importantly, WHY.

The machines which Hesham uses for testing are totally reliable and he would never put anything in your mouth which was going to harm you.

How did the Munro-Hall's know there was metal in your fillings? As far as I am aware, they don't do any testing of their own but send patients elsewhere. Have they now got their own test machines? I'd appreciate a reply so that I can update my website with the info if needed.

Tracy, I'm feelin mighty reluctant to make any suggestions, arnica is a common first-aid remedy for sudden traumatic events and is not dependant on your constitutional type ,a homeopath would determine which one you are so it's highly individual. At a guess, you would prolly benefit from either arsenicum 200, or aconitum 200 , I would try the ars. first , 1 pill 3 times a day for a week. These are fairly high doses so you would need to be careful to not antidote the remedies from EMF's like mobile phones, microwave if ya got one, also no peppermint toothpaste. (You can wrap the bottles in foil to protect them though) Best thing to do is call Helios 01892- 536393 and sometimes they give advice on the phone and you can order from them. In times of crisis, the low doses don't seem to have the desired effect so I don't know about the possibility of much relief from a 6x or 30 like they sell at Boots.
The best thing to do in a family feud is refuse to participate if they'll let you, it wreaks havoc on the nervous system, and quite often it doesn't make a darn bit of difference to finding a solution.

are you totally sure that the dentist you visited just took a little look at your white temporary fillings and said that they contain silver? even without knowing what type of material it was!

did you ask him if had x-ray eyes that can see silver through a white filling?

if what you say is true and not a result of a simple misunderstanding, I find it an astounding statement beyond belief. why did he say that I wonder! that is truly sad!

Can you get your fillings tested to really see if their is any silver I think thats the best method than we know for sure whats going on.

I have heard of stories of people experimenting especially neuro surgeons and doing unwanted surgery and trying new things which lead to disaster and the patient not knowing a thing.

Was anything resolved about this?

I have been looking at this clinic and it looks good, so I wonder why there is not much about them in the discusions.

I have contacted the Munro clinic for their comments. I am sure that some testing had been done and maybe there was an error. We will see.
