What do you use in replacement?

I cannot tolerate it in even the smallest amounts. Makes me nauseous, vomit. Cannot even smell it makes me so sick.

hi veggie mom, i have the same problem. When I tried using the usual chlorella, I had the worst vomiting bouts I have ever known. Absolutely beyond belief and burst blood vessels in my eyes, the whole deal. I was like that for hours and the nausea with it was intolerable.

I was terrified at trying chlorella again. Seems that this can be due to the cell wall and some people do not digest it. I think if I'm not mistaken that Nature's Way chlorella has a cracked cell wall., so it might be ok.

The one I did tolerate was from the mercola website. Biotics Research coporation Chlorella caps. I gather it must be the cracked cell wall version, but I had no issues whatsoever with it.

Yet when I tried a chlorella capsule from a health lab we have here, I was violently ill just from that. So I am a real bad case senario in that regard.

Also, another alternative is getting .Nature's Way chlorophyll
which is made up mainly of alfalfa. It can still help chelate or encourage mercury removal I hear, but is better tolerated.

NDF is another way of taking chlorella, but more effective apparently. I've used it, and no vomiting or anything like that, it's in a nanonised form.

Thanks Bex. I do take liquid Chlorophyll . I forgot that it basically does the same thing.
I have the Jarrow Yaeyama chlorella with the cracked cell wall and boy oh boy couldn't stop puking. Like you I'm so afraid to ever try it again.

Hi veggimom, you're welcome. Yes the experiemence with chlorella is horrendous for me too. NOt sure why I tolerated the biotics research one.

NDF doesn't have this risk at all apparently. I've tried it many times and never got vomiting or nausea.

The chlorophyll you have should still do something, maybe not as potent as chlorophyll.

With me, my reactions to chlorella didn't start right away. I coudl take chlorella at one stage. Then for reasons I don't get, I began to develop nausea and I would stop it. The nausea only lasted a while. The next time I tried, the nausea was more intense and lasted longer and I was beginning to burp up the chlorella a bit.

The next time I tried was the violent vomiting and I went through that twice. Gotta give me marks for persistance, don't know about marks for brains though. But yes, I am VERY wary of chlorella. NDF is ok, but not chlorella as it is.

I'm using the Nature's Way Chlorella- and so far no problems. After it is used up, I have some "SunChlorella" I will be using next. Its supposed to have the cracked cell wall too- Hope the Sun Chlorella doesn't give me trouble!
