Hi pgm, y/w! I have always had problems though even as a kid but they were not obvious and it didn't stop me being an energetic happy kid. But signs were there.
I had my first amalgam/amalgams at about age 5 or 6 I believe, and that's when Mum noticed I first started feeling not so great. I remember she cut all my long hair off in the hopes it might take a load off me....she really thought it might be that.. hmmmm now I know better.
But no things didn't get so bad till more metal was put in my mouth in my teens etc. But candida I believe has always been an issue, and whether due to amalgams or in the womb (from exposure to mother's mercury...?), I do not know. I know that I had massive problems with croupe etc as a baby.
But candida diets and treatment used to have almost immediate effects on me and they would last. I was stronger than I am now. These days, I am near invalid status and even with all the efforts, things are continually falling apart. No matter what I do or take, it might even work for a little while, but then CRASH and I'm back to where I was.
Again this really only started after infections (viral/cavitations...). That's the only thing I now suspect considering I wasn't this ill before them. So candida now is making a meal of me I think because I think they flourish around toxins and other infections and with a stuffed immunity, I'm a sitting duck these days. Healing crisis symptoms are rare and I seem to remain deadened to treatments.
You mentioned getting bone turbuculosis from vaccine? That is HORRIBLE!!! But it's alerted me to something that happened to my cat which I believe killed her. She was about 14, so granted she was not young. I had not had her vaccinated in years, so felt bad and took her to a local vet.
Something very weird started happening to her after the vaccination. Not long after it, the bone in her front leg looked as though it was swelling or bent outwards and she started limping. This got bigger and bigger. She also went blind (which seemed to come after they put her on thyroid medication), so not sure what did what.
Later they put her on blood pressure pills to try and help the blindness and all of these things finally crippled her, so I had to take her in to get put down. But this is the weird thing. The vet was so shocked at her condition, he mentioned "bone cancer" or something like that and I stood there thinking but she only got this after vaccination.....
What do you think? I'm sorry that you too had such an awful outcome from vaccinations and yes it could have been a weakening from a broken rib, as my cat was already vulnerable before the injection, but this is NO excuse and should never happen regardless.
I agree, I think genetic weaknesses to the immunity can be much improved upon with diet and supplementation because the body can and will heal. However, if it's like mine and may have an ongoing tap of infection somewhere (e.g. the apparent wet gangrene), I think even the strongest person would succumb to that. Because the body is in a state of constant fighting and cannot really throw up a healing crisis properly or respond much to treatment.

Hi Bex. Tuberculosis vaccines contain live mycoplasma (at least those given to humans). There is growing evidence that mycoplasma are behind autoimmune diseases and other diseases as well, including thyroid diseases. By compromising the immune system with vaccines, your cat could well have ended up in that state. Mycoplasma are hard to kill directly with some drugs, and some just treat mycoplasma by enhancing the immune system with vitamines etc., which is the same we do here. At this point it would be perhaps too optimistic to assume one is getting away with all this only with candida. Although some claim that mercury causes autoimmune disorders, this is only indirectly, there is no logic behind your body attacking mercury. There is, however, if you consider mycoplasma, as they are stealthy, being different from normal bacterias in the way they are able to invade host cells without killing them. Therefore, only mycoplasma can cause autoimmune disorders of the various pathogens, not even viruses can do that. Since mercury lowers immunity, you can also get mycoplasma infections easier. There is even one page that mentions "cat's claw" as one of the best to support immune system against mycoplasma. This should sound familiar.

LOL!!!! Well, here's hoping! It is worse feeling like this and having nothing happening I think. Die off right now would be a welcome change. It takes a few days to really going Bex. After a few days though, you can try speeding things up just a bit by taking a little bit extra of a dose before bed. But go slow 2-3-4 days first to weaken stuff before hitting it too hard. Have pumpkin seeds ready if you can, they help a lot. I think I am due for a pumpkin pie tomorrow. mmm... not too much brown sugar.... my pumpkins are amazingly sweet all by themselves, must be the type. I did these little dark green japanese pumpkins this year. Real hard skin, dark dark orange insides. eating extra cloves really helps too, just buy some whole cloves at the grocery if you cam't find organic, that's what I did. Don't drink too much milk, apple cider is great though. Parasite cleansing really sems to be an autumn event huh? Walnut, pumpkin seeds... after this one you can have fresh supplies ready for another big haul soon in the southern hemisphere. I did a google search and black walnuts do grow in new zealand. You can make your own tincture like i did. It costs ten bucks for a big bottle of cheap strong russian vodka and you are in business for a big cleanse, all your friends too....

PGM, What do you think is the best way to kill pathogens in your body?

Hi BG123. What helps depends on how good your immune system is, and how your digestion works. I'm probably an exception here in that nearly anything works on me.
I have tried vit C & E, vegetable oils, fish oils, zinc, magnesium, strong B-complex, strong B12 & folic acid, L-carnosine, alpha lipoic acid and raw garlic
Of these, strong B12, L-carnosine, and ALA was by far the most powerful. I can't even remember how many times I burned my adrenals on B12, and it also affected my thyroid hormones in a major way.
I touched L-carnosine only briefly, but as soon as I took it, i'd feel some sensation in head, but it ended my kidney pains for good - probably effective against mycoplasma infections.
Alpha lipoic acid has been said to be second only to glutathione in its capabilities, so there's not much to question about its role to treat pathogens, while also being a good heavy metal chelator.
I have also seen some good results with undenatured whey protein to treat chronic fatigue syndrome, which is essentially a disease involving multiple pathogens, like mycoplasma and candida (I have stumbled upon people who have it, but with no amalgams). Whey protein contains some of the final precursors for glutathione.

do you believe DMSA/DMPS can be used to kill pathogens?

the paragrah that starts with that-man I just can't seem to figure out how to do the quote thing-can I blame it on the hg <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> Bex, Both times that I worked on the candida (once with garlic and then 3 years later with Nystatin-I thought I could handle it then) it messed me up for many months. That is why I now am so caution about my adrenals. After reading Dr. Wilson's book, I realized that even though the candida was greatly effecting my adrenals, they had become so weak that they couldn't withstand the stress hg/mycotoxins released from the killing off of the candida. Very tricky.

Hi searching, yes it is very tricky because candida weakens adrenals and weak adrenals cannot fight candida properly and all these things seem to cause a dominoe effect. Which one came first, which one is most responsible, how to work on each without making the other worse in the process.
Certainly not treating candida is disastrous for me, so I treat it to a point (or slightly control the worst of it), by diet. antifungal use has proven a bit risky in the past with both the release of too many yeast death toxins and metals contained in yeast in the process.
So diet, though still releases toxins, does at least aid some detox and healing at the very least. Right now, it's all I have to be honest, apart from extra supplements or cleanses on occassion. nothing else is really making much impact, because I have stuff that isn't really being "nailed". (e.g. infections) appropriately.
