Yeah it was at the point that my legs and arms were so numb and it hurt to walk that I finally decided I needed a doctor. Mercury for sure. I found a good integrative med doc and they chelated me via IV for a few months.
Saved my life I do believe. Google minemata disease.
I could be wrong, but it is my sincere opinion that if you want to avoid ongoing problems or possible permanent disability you need to be chelated via IV if you have it that bad.

HI Smitho, just came across this relatively recent post of yours. COincidentally, my computer has also been broke for the last six weeks!!! hmmm.
Anyway, just reading your post and it took me back to my own experience. You may, even at this stage be hitting what is known as the "second phase of suffering". This is something that hit me about a year or so after my amalgams were removed.
For me the senario went a little like this. Had last amalgam finally removed, felt almost immediately worse due possibly to swallowing grains of mercury by negligent dental assistant. Had tremors, headaches, you name it. Felt quite revolting for sometime after, just poisoned pretty much. I felt maybe this was some detox.
Seemed to hit a sort of stage of remission of some symptoms. May have been due to some DMSA I got given by a doctor. But I could not continue due to cost. But I felt much the same (relatively "ok") for about a year or so. Then suddenly, out of the blue I began to worsen significantly for no apparent reason. I mean it was like my worst nightmare returning and all my symptoms returned but worse than ever.
I felt repoisoned and started to blame anything and everything. I did not realise that the massive amount of stored mercury that I had been carrying most of my life was beginning to erupt out and fill up my blood stream.
Nobody told me of this, I had not read about it and I panicked. I was so ill looking that my face took on a pallor and I looked aged (even at 27). It had a pulled in appearance and was kind of haggard. I would get so poisoned that I would erupt in massive amounts of uncontrollable crying and salivating to such an extent that I'd go for hours. Either hanging my head over a bowl (or toilet) without having any ability to stop. I'd use hankies or whatever I could. I would go through about 15 hankies a day (soaked).
When this eruption would subside for a while, I'd have a momentary feeling of relief as though I had cleared a little something out of me, but then no sooner did I get this, than it would build back up again and I'd feel poisoned and so it went on.
I did not understand what it was and finally read about it and recognised what was happening. I took all sorts of things to encourage more mercury to come out, but could not tolerate the detoxes as I once did (just like yourself). SUddenly using the chelators would produce a severe reaction, even taking a little would cause me to go into almost insane detox that was intolerable. I mean so agonising that I would literally scream my lungs out.
So, I found myself going on and off different forms of detox. Trying a little and finding a huge reaction. I could never take anything for a prolonged time and could never follow a doctor's orders to "keep taking it". It was not possible. I learned to listen to my own body and not push it even further over the edge too much or too often. Naturally it was doing this enough on its own, but would go into extreme when encouraged further by mobilising the mercury with anything.
You maybe going through this. The ONLY thing that actually aided me was Andy Cutler's chelation which actually helped control some of these symptoms. So I took the DMSA every 4 hours around the clock. Sometimes it helped, sometimes it caused symptoms, but at least it was somewhat tolerable. I felt ill in one way as it was still removing mercury, yet other times it was more controlled.
I suggest you might like to give that a go if you can to try and aid you through this "second" nightmare. Other things that kind of helped but also sometimes pushed me to detox more, were good quality vitamin C powder (from a lab), vitamin E and selenium and zinc. Those were actually the main ones that seemed to directly aid the mercury detox.
Diet can help too if candida is an issue.

Hi,bex .. good to see you back online... .Its a pain when you have no computer. you dont realise how much you miss it,when you dont have one...
My symptoms seem to have got better again. strange..... thinking back to when i still had my amalgams. my numbness has definitely improved.. ..
Im thinking of having a little time out with detoxing.. when i do this my symptom seem to be less severe..
I am thinking of to start taking dmsa, ala.. but i will start slowly. I think heshams detox is great. but i can see why some people cant tolerate it..
hows things with you bex?

Hi Smitho, thanks, it's good to be back too!
It may seem strange that your symptoms fluctuate, but when it's mercury it's very normal that it's "strange". I learned that very quickly. That's why they refer to this as a roller coaster ride. Continual fluctuations of symptoms.
Good move to take some time out from detoxing, the body is probably trying to do some of it anyway (which it can) and needs to recover a bit as well. Otherwise you just flood yourself with toxins that the body couldn't eliminate, but was forced into trying to. Hal Huggins causes that re-tox I think. To where a person forces themselves to do too much, and sometimes instead you get a backfire effect.
I had that many times, but there is no perfect way to remove mercury anyway.
I'm sure Hesham's detox is great, but possibly powerful and at this stage your body may find it too intense. A doc here in New Zealand, one of the best for mercury, has an approach to it and his stuff works very well, but again is very powerful. He now advises only using VERY small amounts and building up over time as tolerated.
Andy's is great in the respect of controlling symptoms more for many people, so it can be used more frequently and obviously in being able to chelate without being pushed over the edge in symptoms, you can keep going more often.
Things with me are not good. My body is in the process of trying to handle the toxins from the cigarettes that I smoked a long time ago and still cannot really eliminate them. Though sometimes it tries and I end up with strange detox symptoms (even through the eyes), and can taste some metal. This only started after the cigs, so I have no doubt that's where this is coming from.
Nothing really seems to chelate it out, so whatever chemicals/metals it has, it's not something DMSA seems able to do much for. I'm relying on my own body to do it basically and sticking to diet as much as I can to aid and support.
