Hi Melissa I use tooth and gum tonic by dental herb company. My dentist carries it as well as the toothpaste too. I have been using this for 6 years. Any time I have a little flare up with my gums I use it 4 or 5 times a day and really clears it up quick. The toothpaste has no foaming agent and takes a bit to get used to but once you do you will never go back. I have tried other toothpastes and the foam makes me gag now. Go figure!!! It has a nice fresh taste also. I have not had any cavities the whole time I have been using this rinse. I also do the oil pulling ....just started 3 weeks ago and already seeing good effects on my gums and makes me feel so much better in the mornings. Mornings are really bad for me and oil pull helps me and gives me energy. Also my teeth are really pretty and shiny. I was hoping this would also cut back on my teeth cleanings...I have to go every 3 months and it always makes me sick for a few days. I don't know if it is because he is stirring up the bacteria or the light I am under or maybe he is removing some one else's fillings....whatever the cause I would rather go just twice a year!!!! Try the oil pulling it's great!!!! Here are some links to dental herb company and oil pulling, give it a look. http://www.dentalherbcompany.com/ http://www.oilpulling.com/ http://www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/oil_pulling.html Hope this helps!!! You can find more sites on the oil pulling if you google it and there is a thread on this forum on oil pulling. Take Care. Rachel

Ooh that sounds rough and ugly. Clear pus is still puss, white blood cells, fluid.
I have had two teeth pulled the normal rock and roll and yank way (except for wisdom teeth that were removed years ago) recently, and I had two others, rear molars, extracted by a dentist that actually slices the tooth carefully and then gently lifts it out. I much prefer the cut and lift method, completely painless and no swelling after.
Sound like you have an abcess in there. the dentist is suppose to remove the peridontal ligament when he extracts a tooth, sounds like yours did not. Always remind a new dentist to scrape the ligament out. They are all suppose to do it but from what i can tell, only some do, and abcess and long standing jaw infections can be the result.
You are suppose to rinse with a heavy duty salt water mix for several days after having a tooth extracted, I hope you did that. What I also did was take a cotton swab, like you would clean your ears with, dip it into some hydrogen peroxide, and rub it on the area about 2-3 days after extraction to kill bacteria and lessen the chances of infection.
I haven't had any problems after my extractions, and never experienced anything like you describe. No rough spots, no bumps, no pain, no fluid. The last extraction was mid-summer. probably mid-July or so. Takes about a week to heal is all when everything goes well.
Grapefruit seed extract also seems to work well as an anti-bacterial mouth rinse. And if all comes to all, strong vodka is a good last resort.

Jim Beam will work. You don't have to swallow it.
He definitely did not remove the ligament. If he tries to charge you extra to clean the thing out... well if it were me I would go in and let him clean it out, write a check with a smile on my face say thank you the whole bit, then stop payment on the check as soon as I got home.
No reason you should suffer for his mistakes and then have to pay him extra too. But don't say that to his face. You can tell him later when he tries to bill you.
Find a differnt dentist to do the rest. get them cut out, you'll be a lot happier.

i got four of my 6 mercury teeth removed,(pulled) now i have only 2 molars with white filings. i got alot of trouble after, they wernt healing, so i had most of them cleaned out by a proper dentist, it cost me a fortune. i still have one, where there is a rough bit, and theres pain every now and then and it can give me severe migraines, usually every couple of weeks. it needs seeing to, one day il get it done but funds are really tight. dawn x

Why don't you call the dentist that pulled the tooth originally and complain?

I would definitely do the oil pulling, it really pulls out the toxins, just be sure to brush and rinse well afterwards, and soak your toothbrush in H202 or GSE.
Keep your mouth fastidiously clean, gargle with GSE or food grade H202, diluted of course and maybe rinse and spit some chlorella tablets dissolved in water, to absorb any mercury that may be in there.
best luck and feel better soon , Sandi xoxo

She still has amalgams in there. gargeling with H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) while you still have amalgams is a big no no. I made that mistake once, suffered major major foghead all week.
If you use peroxide at all on the extraction site, place it very carefully with a q-tip. That worked well for me.

Betcha he's lying to you. I don't see how it could possibly heal over, all be ok for a full 3-4 weeks and then suddenly flare-up unless he left the ligament in there or who knows what else. You didn't have an abcess there before and now you do right? No brainer in my opinion. You called him on it and he is playing defense now.
dentists no kidding, 95% of them.
you better call a couple more dentists, describe it to them and at least get other opinions. If it gets badly infected, well jaw infection can become brain infection and will take weeks to get over. you don't need antobiotics as much as you need the area cleaned out properly. I am amazed he wouldn't do it for you. very conscientious of him. But typical of liars I guess. He'd be admitting his mistake if he did.
I'd go straight for the hydrogen peroxide. instantaneous results, on the outside anyway. No swishing bacteria ridden in my puss around in my mouth thanks. Just kill it.

It may help for the short term but the infection is inside the jaw cavity. You really do need to call 3-5 dentists in the morning, desribe it to them, tell them you have a couple more teeth that need extracting, find one that will do the cut and lift method (oral surgery removal method, they cut the tooth in half and then lifet it out in halves) and he can cut into that area at the same time and fully scrape it clean. I'd get it done asap.
Then be sure to tell everyone you know about your experience with other dentist. Word travels quickly about doctors/dentists.
'I got the worst infection after having work done by that dentist..'
It's his reward for caring so much about you.

The dentist that did my cut and lift extractions doesn't discuss mercury problems very much either.
but I didn't go to him for amalgam replacement, I went to him for extractions. And he did a perfect job with that. He was real meticulous, wore these little telescope glasses, a real geek, i like him, an old guy, my age plus a few years. heh.
The dental assistant was real nice too there. she discussed my mercury concerns because they had to cut the filling slightly to lift the tooth... she gave me one of their face masks to cover my nose with and I basically held my breath the rest of the way...
no problems afterward at all. i think I did take some DMSA that day and the few days after. i did not use antibiotics after or painkillers.
painkillers slow your kidneys down a lot, do not take any offers of pain killers if you have a mercury problem.
Actually, that's not correct, I forgot, I'm sorry.. he does do amalgam replacement the dental assistant showed me hers that he did. But he's just a regular dentists, no hal huggins protocol nothing like that, just real good hands and real careful... an ace with that high speed dremel drill. the guy never spilled a drop of anything and moved very quickly.
Get an older dentist with a good reputation, is my best advice. they've seen it all and are less likely to lie to make a few bucks. Their mortgages are already paid.
If you're in Jacksonville, there is a dentist in Tampa or clearwater that does amalgam replacemnt, the guy that Russ went to. You can courtyard inn it a night.
But you don't need an amalgam removal pro guy to do extractions.

47 soon to be 48 actually.
I wouldn't drive all the way to clearwater for extractions but that is where russ's dentist is located.
Do not under any circumstances pull your own teeth. It really has to be done right.
Just call around and find a normal dentist that does extractions the cut and lift oral surgery way. you'll be quite happy, ther must be one near Lake city.
nice area, been there a few times. used to live in florida myself. Kind of hot in the summer. i missed the seasons and had too many family members nearby and they would barge right into my house at all hours it was nerve wracking.. .if I didn;t answer the door because i was working they would stand outside and yell... so i moved. I had a huge grapefruit tree that I really miss from there though. I wonder how my tangerines are doing. then i put all these gardenias along the border of the yard... gosh.. the gardenias how I love that smell of gardenia. i should get a potted one. i saved some grapefruit seeds and am going to plant them some pomegranates too. it'll be like little Florida inside my house in the winter.. sort of like little cuba but without the toasted ham sandwiches.

You ever spent the night on a beach?
I don't recommend it. the sand fleas are cumbersome. Very itchy in the morning. Very itchy all week, perhaps a full 10 days, not worth it.
Yeah I was young once heh. Learned some hard to forget lessons.
You know how to catch a shark? You get a long rope, a rope, not fishing line. You tie a big hook on the end if it, a BIG hook, and you put a whole chicken on there, tie it on good and tight. skanky day old in the heat chicken is great. In the evening, you let the rope out as far as it will go, has to be long rope really, a couple hundred feet. That nylon stuff would be ok and is lighter. Get a medium dark color, medium green would be best.
Nice fun night on the beach. take a couple friends you might catch a big one and will need help to haul it in. take a lantern I'm not sure they allow campfires on the beaches anymore. wear long pants and long sleeves and keep them on or you'll be too itchy to haul the shark in.. do not get any funny ideas about swimming in the water at night with a skanky chicken attracting all the bait and carnivore fish for miles or you may be telling us about more than a few missing teeth.

A lot wiser...
Yeah, a night on the beach is rather unpleasant. i've only done it once, never again! But it's one of those have to the experience things. Too many bugs to bother. Kind of scary too, never know what'll creep up in the dark, racoons, armadillos, snakes, rats etc. Florida is swarming with rats. Never touch an armadillo dead or alive. that's really important to know when you live in FL, they carry some nasty diseases. Caught a few sharks in FL, mostly little ones, nothing over 4 feet. Never ate shark though. I'm more into stuffed flounder. I have some in the freezer i was afraid to eat it, i should pull it out and see if I do ok... one time I stepped onto this huge mound of fire ants unawares and within 15 seconds there was hundreds, maybe a couple thousand of them up to my knee. Painful. But there's something in their toxic bites that actually kills a lot of parasites and stuff too did you know that?
I hope they are going to cut those teeth and remove them gently!
Well, you'll find out if the other dentist is a ligament liar or not soon too. that'll be fun. I am willing to wager my one star that he lied to you.
Did you have the big meet Jesus experience when you got saved?
