Put hydrogen peroxide on it immediately. It'll hurt but do it.
My best friends son-in law is in the hospital with a hospital acquired flesh eating staph infection... in his face... and the symptoms sound a lot like that, especially the flu like symptoms.
This kid is only 23 years old, with a brand new baby son, and he was absolutely beautiful, stunning good looks, and now he may lose half his face.
Keep it really clean and get yourself an INFECTIOUS DISEASE SPECIALIST asap. Dentists are real morons when it comes to infections. Wasting your time with a dentist when you have an infection may cost you dearly. Take a look at it in the mirror if possible, and if you see any black color or blue/purple run as fast as you can to the nearest specialist.

I think I am going to be sick again. Very heartsick. I don't know whether to be sad or angry.
These doctors and dentists.
This is real serious and it seems to be going around and spreading rapidly, not just here, everywhere, USA, UK... an acquaintance of mine, not someone I know well, also has a son in the hospital with it and so far he has lost his hand and they have cut halfway up his arm trying to stop the thing. That kid got it playing football, a cut on his hand from a spike. Thing is the football coach lives 250 yards from me too.
I have been cleaning this house so hard all weekend and I have a hydrogen peroxide soap mixture near the sink that we'll be using daily. I have been spending my afternoon the past couple days washing everything down with ammonia, my kidneys are aching.
The mouth infections may actually be some sort of strep that turn into essentially the same thing. I'm not sure. The baby has strep from somewhere too, the baby! But that's how it starts, flu like symptoms, a bump... it's not really flu though, its real nasty infection.
I will say with no reservations whatsoever, stay away from doctors, stay away from dentists. Their offices and their equipment may be loaded with this bug. All it takes is one little cut for it to get started.
keep hydrogen peroxide on hand always. If you get a cut clean it right away with that and keep it clean.
It was one year ago this month that my dental nightmares began. Just a note.

Ok - you guys are freaking me out here...
I just saw my biologic dentist this morning as I have a molar that has been hurting all weekend. I thought part of my filling came off and just needs to be redone - not. The dang tooth cracked right in half and now I have to have it extracted on Wednesday. I have had a headache since Sunday night.
Any advise or suggestions to prepare and afterwards? I am scared about getting a cavitation from this.
Also, when they took the x-ray to confirm the crack, they said that the tooth roots are right next to my sinus cavities and it can pose a problem - ie: be on antibiotics afterwards.
Thanks, Teri

Hi Teri, make sure you request a local anaesthetic without a vaso constrictor (they restrict blood flow and can increase the chances of a cavitation becaue of that).
And ask that the periodontal ligament be removed as well as the tooth. Anything to cut down the risks of a cavitation forming is helpful.
Plus, diet is very important for healing, proteins (eggs, meats), fats (butter), vegetables, nuts/seeds, all these things will help bone healing. To help aid your body against infection and if you can handle it, garlic may also help (natural antibiotic) and vitamin C (but do NOT take vitamin C 24 - 48 hours before an anaesthetic, or it will erase the effects and you will feel pain). Other than that, take the vitamin C.
cod liver oil is also wonderful, but get a brand that is free of mercury (blue ice for example).
Don't need to go overboard, but some simple things like this can all help. And I would also do what sosick suggests and use the hydrogen peroxide too and do the salt water rinses for the mouth. If they insist you be on antibiotics, well that's up to you, but if so, I would take probiotics to replace the good bacteria! 2 hours before or after antibiotics. Take a lot of it too during the process and possibly for a few weeks following to make sure you replace any bacteria that was wiped out.
Just some tips, I wish there were ideal answers.

Thank you Bex - that helps a lot!
I am not much of a poster as you can see, but I am on here daily reading and I just want to thank you for all that you do contribute.
Just a little about myself- I had all eight of my amalgams taken out in February. My dentist donated all of it - yes I was very blessed! I am a single mom of 3 and could no way afford to do this on my own. I haven't started to detox yet as I have been working on and off with getting the bowels working, then I will do a liver detox and then start hitting at the mercury. I cant wait to get rid of all of it - someday. And someday it will be nice to reclaim my life, like my mind and maybe grow my hair back
Thanks again, Teri

Hi Bex,
I "had" overly thick hair too, but the thing of it is is I have lost over 60% of it and to top it all off it is just past my waist! So it is going to take years to get it back... I cant even get myself to do the candita diet. How do you get to the point of disaplinning yourself to eat like that when all I crave is the bad stuff?
Today was not fun - 2 hours to get the dang thing out :-(

Hi Teri, truly it doesn't take long for the thickness to come back. For me it was odd, it just seemed to happen at some point...kind of crept up on me. I just suddenly thought omg, my hair is back to normal... I couldn't quite understand it because hair has to "grow" so it was astonishing.
But yes, the diet is what brought it back for me. I know I was mercury poisoned though, but obviously I had yeast as well and everything combined was stuffing so many body systems up, my hair just went thin.
I was a sugarholic, so I know exactly what you mean and I was the LAST person you could imagine ever going on a diet like this. But frankly, NOTHING else worked and I was desperate watching myself bloated, with thin hair and depression and many other problems.
I tried antidepressants and homeopathy, herbs etc and NONE of them did a thing to aid me in the long term. So finally I was told by a doctor to get on a candida diet and believe me, at first it was too weird that I didn't want to do it. I kept cheating and stuffing around on the diet.
Finally I went cold turkey and the cravings I intially went through just about drove me nuts (which was a clear indicator that I had big toxic issues and yeast). I cried, and paced the kitchen craving the very things that were causing me to stay sick. I was off all sugar, wheat/gluten. But at that time was still having limited fruit (which I can't have these days). But I only had about 2 pieces a day then. I also had some gluten free grain then too. But mainly just ate meat, vegetables, eggs, etc.
I then developed some detox headaches and discomforting symptoms and it took about two weeks at that stage for things to improve. The change at the end of those two weeks was miraculous. My skin, hair, appearance had altered and improved to such an extent that you'd hardly believe I was the same person.
My skin became smooth and transluecent, hair looked healthier and was already looking thicker, eyes sparkled, I felt so much better and depression lifted immensely, anxiety lessened and many mental symptoms had abated. This was from diet alone and nothing else.
So yeast and other problems most definitely cause many symptoms in association with mercury or other illnesses. The very fact you would find it so hard to do a diet like this, indicates you may have a real problem as I did. The harder it is, the more symptoms you get with the withdrawal, the more you actually need to do it.
Anybody can if I can and eventually you get so used to it, that it doesn't seem odd anymore and you never want to go back to feeling that way again.
I wish I could gain those improvements these days, but thanks to virus and other infections from other dental work, I am not quite so lucky. So if you want to give the diet a go? Just know that you're not alone! And the cravings can at first feel quite overwhelming because the yeast etc are wanting the bad food and you're literally starving them to death. They do NOT like that and will send out every signal they can to get you to succumb. I fought it and refused to give in. At first I did slip up from time to time, but eventually realised that the slip ups were not worth it. I had to do it completely.

Thank you Bex for the explanation on changing my diet. I am just going to have to really get in the mind set and just do it! After the holidays though
A quick question... Is it normal to have an ongoing headache after a tooth extraction? This is frustrating as I am not one to get headaches. It wouldn't be a sign that I have an infection would it be?
Thank you sunshine for the well wishes - same to you!
Teri
