Im just wandering what everyone on here recommends to dealing with stress adn anxiety...I have terrible SOCIAL SHYNESS and anxiety and dont know what to do.
Im taking fish ols and GABA with Niacinamide and B6 and INOSITOL. MAGNESIUM CITRATE ( This stuff isnt very good it makes me feel distant or strange.
Im looking into VALERIAN (Tried it before but made me more strange or stressed).
Maybe Phosphatylserine have took choline but made me worse as did B VITAMINS which make me paranoid.
I have internal jitters or tremors and SO much tension in my stomach I cant relax and posutre is wrecked so maybe im not breathing....
And breathing techniques are stupid...I dont know which one to beleive..I have been doing stomach breathing for monthes and now my stomach muscles are WEIRD and pushed out from the breathing exercises.
My stomach feels like a weight.
I dont know what to do and I have a 40 minute PRESENTATION in front of the class on tuesday and I am so nervous because I cant even talk to people normally without getting MOODY or anxious so how do I speak in front of MANY

Its hard because of the mood swings I feel its depression because I feel a weight on my face and its hard to smile FAKE SMILE..but this could be to ANXIETY because it might be tension etc?? I get tremor twitchy when I raise my eye brows so it means tension.....
I am having a hard tiem finding the right supplements to help...If I take GABA it can cause more depression right? but helps anxiety.
ASHWAGANDHA is m eant to be good but cant remember if I took it.,
St johns wort made me get panic attacks and anxiety but helped Mood.? so maybe this ad GABA may work.

i cannot say that my social anxiety and shyness is gone, however mercury removal and chelation has helped a lot. Before i knew i was mercury toxic i exercised a lot. It helps a lot with stress and boost self confidence.
Maybe it helps to realise that people that don't have social anxiety do not care much about your shyness. It's often the shy people who believe it such a bad personality trait.

James, I'm sorry to hear this but I've been there and still go there. The ONLY thing that helped me, and I'll be repeating myself for the umpteenth time I know, but was a strict candida diet with healthy foods and fats.
Anything else was either ineffective because my body was yeast overloaded and too ill to absorb anythign anyway, or I would react badly to it, supplements included.
Diet reduced yeast and improved some mental functions and the anxiety and depression often improve or even lift significantly. Anything outside of that to my mind is just additional as far as supplements/herbs go.
Apart from that? proper chelation. Because if it is metal related, then this is the only way to really cure the underlying problem. If I could think of a quick fix? I'd give it to you. I know of none.
The diet may not be appealing in the respect of giving up most foods, particularly sugar, but for me it was either that or probably ending up institutionalised. You may already be on it and I apologise if this is so. But if not, I'd do it immediately.

Mainstream medicine offers as a solution beta-blockers and sedatives. The doctors are sooo competent (never tried these though). LOL. Btw, I started getting shy about two years after I got my filling; at the same time my vision started becoming blurry. very interesting.... so you were not shy before? How old were you when you got your filling?

Well I got my filling when I was 13 years old. The first symptoms started around 2 years after that, not getting sleep, without spending at least half an hour worrying in bed about various things. This never happened before I got my filling. Two and a half years later, I started getting skin rashes, and dandruff in hair. My scalp itched sometimes like crazy, and this coupled with the skin rashes points clearly to candida as the cause. My scalp was never itchy before I got the filling, and I didn't have skin rashes. I could not decouple the symptoms of metal and candida, I assume everything was caused by candida, and the candida was caused by the mercury filling. And no I wasnt shy before I got the filling, not nearly as much anyway.

kava is very dangerous and they have banned it.your better off taking valium that that since itsseverely toxic herb for the liver..
All herbs are dangerous.. My friend has goen yellow after trying some herbs...she tried holy basil and st johns wort but they both made her weird and didnt help the response to stress.
Im lost at what to do...the doctor said stop messing with herbs and supplements you will drive yourself crazy

James, I had the very same issues you mention in the first post and agree with Dawn and Nicola, get your adrenals and thyroid checked. I have been on ADR by PUR, its an adrenal supplement, for almost 10 months now. It takes a while to calm down, heal the adrenals. You can buy this product, but there are many natural adrenal support supplements out there. Its always recommended to get your adrenals tested first. ZRT and other labs do it. You need the one that tests your saliva 4 times in one day for accurate picture. Getting adrenals well is a combination of detoxifcation and proper adrenal support. If you have both a thyroid and adrenal problem, the adrenal has to be treated first. A book recommended by myself and others on this site is "Adrenal Fatigue the 21st Century Syndrome", www.adrenalfatigue.org by Dr. Wilson. Of course getting well is like a puzzle being put together. You address the stressors (mercury, diet and lifestyle) then start on the other stuff. Best wishes... it takes 1-2 yrs to heal adrenals. Gabriella

James,
I forgot to mention also that as the mercury leaves mental anxiety can increase then decrease. You can expect some agitation and so forth while detoxing. I didn't know this at first and thought I was going crazy. However, after I noticed a pattern of anxiety during chelation then relief and increase in clarity, I realized it was a part of detoxing.

Keeping blood sugar levels balanced by eating small regular, healthy meals &snacks. fresh organic food & supplements, favourites being vitamin C and Magnesium, Drinking water & herbal tea, especially camomile so relaxing. Remembering to breathe always through the nose, natural progesterone cream. Rescue remedy drops under the tongue or on the skin. I have just rediscovered music, there is so much healing in some beautiful music, something to relax you, with no sudden, loud tunes that may pump the adrenaline up further! Hot bath with lavender&tea tree, sea salt, sometimes some seaweed. Getting enough rest and sleep(this one of the most essential) Being kind & understanding with yourself, accepting your present state as it is,bringing your awareness into the present using the breath & pressing your feet into the ground to steady & balance yourself & not placing too much social/other stress on yourself. Take it one moment at a time.

i was reading up on progesterone cream and am going to use it this month as all my symptoms seem to point to estrogen dominance, im keeping my fingers crossed it will work for my anxiety, mood swings and depression. with the cream i got a leaflet telling peoples stories of before and after using the cream and it has given me hope, even men can use it.

i think the so many of these personality traits comes from the metals. I was just telling my wife this the other day. After my experience with Chlorella I felt the veil of something life off my personality. It was wonderful and beautiful. I thought how much of everyone's personality might be somewhat more or less influenced by some type of chemical. Shawn
