I was wondering if any of you have tried any of these two products? I have done a lot of research and they seem to come the most recommended out there. Heavy Metal Detox (a lot of information on this site) www.heavymetaldetox.netThe other one is Metal Magic www.baselinenutritionals.comThank you for your input Teri

Wow - thank you for the heads up and thanks for saving me even more misery! I need to get on the motivation wagon here and start to detox. It has been 10 months since removal and have done nothing but some colon cleansing. Need to do the liver next and deal with the candida which I am assuming I have. The problem is I have no motivation and it is a chore to get through each day. You would think my mercury load would have lessened somewhat naturally on its own, but I still feel almost the same as with them in. My New Years resolution right....
Well thank you again for all of your insight guys - Teri

Teri, you won't get any better just addressing the colon. You've got to chelate. If you have a chance read the thread on Andy Cutler protocol to help you get started and look for threads on this site to answer questions. It takes around 2 years to get it out, so getting started will only help you.
Best to you,
Gabriella

On the contrary - I will get worse if I don't get my constipation issue resolved.....
The bowels need to be working properly in order to not have the mercury sit there and redistribute!

Hi Teri.
Perhaps you should try alpha lipoic acid, according to the Cutler protocol. You can do it with or without DMSA, I did it without DMSA, because I don't believe I need it. This is the standard anyway, most use it, and the results have been good. It has worked very well for me, and my main problem has been candida. I solved my constipation etc. with anti-candida diet, I think I had the diet just 2-3 months, the first few weeks gave die-off and terrible constipation, but after that things just started getting better. Now I'm cheating like a crazy with the diet, and I get away with it.
I haven't heard anything good about other chelation protocols, and the products you suggest, they tend to be more harmful than useful.

Cysteine When I first discovered amalgam problems I was muscle tested for all the dental materials that could be used in my mouth. It was the first time I had seen this muscle tester. She told me that I muscle tested fine for cysteine and that I should …..” Start chelating straight away, its safe even before all yr amalgams are removed. Start the clean up now!"” I took 3 caps in 1 day of that stuff and all hell broke loose. All my symptoms flared-up massively. All the hard work I had made upto that point in getting better and healing …..was totally and utterly blasted out of me. It put me back months and months. 3 bloody caps. I was so bloody ill. That experienced changed me. A lot. This is one of the reasons I read so much. Read more about what cysteine does click here: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/frequent-dose-chelation/message/20887Note: muscle testing is fine, but you must remember that it CANNOT take into account what the product you are testing will do to the mercury in yr body, and what the mercury will then do to you. I am fine to take cysteine, its just that it mobilise mercury and that mobilised mercury screws me up.

Teri, what I was trying to say is that it's not the only thing. I do know what you mean. I addressed this first as well by changing the diet to organic, devoid of sugars, refined anything etc., several liver flushes, got the bm's regular, then got the amalgams out, then began to chelate. I probably should have explained it a little more.
Hope this clarifies...
Best to you!
