Does anyone get fatigue that just comes on. Like you can be quite happily doing something one minute and feel fairly ok, then bang it hits you like ton of bricks. Almost you feel semi-camatosed. Al the time tracy. It is a symptom of ME which I have. It's best to avoid getting into that state though I always end up overstretching myself.

Yes it hits me like that too. The other morning I was blow drying my hair and wham I suddenly started feeling like crap. Tired and lethargic just an awful feeling. I have Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue and deal with this feeling all the time. Usually by afternoon I need to rest and most days I do if I can.
Hang in there and I like the pic...your as skinny as me LOL!!!

Dear Rachel I too was diagnosed, by an NHS specialist doctor, four years ago with ME. I was tested positive for Epstein Barr and Cytomelavirus and told my immune system was rock bottom. I connected with the Amalgam poisoning, because I had dental work on an infected tooth two days befor becoming ill and had swallowed the filling a few weeks before. However I had the sme illness about twenty years ago, which I cannot connect with any dental work, just came on like a severe flu virus and without any treament got better after about 6 years. Although I was left with a few symptoms and the illness had not been as severe as this time, I received no treatment. Then I worked and lived avery active life until about 4 years ago. Hair dryers emit powerful electromagnetic fields. Have you looked into the possibility that you also are sensitive to them? There's a vicious circle with mercury where mercury can give you EMF sensitivity, and EMFs can cause your body to absorb more mercury.

i get it too, all of a sudden i feel so tired could sleep for England, if im at home i do just that, sleep! if i get it at work its a bloody nightmare having to deal with the public when my body wants to become unconcious.

I too have epstein barr and cytomeglio. I was doing ok too and then got horrible stomach virus lasted 4 days. From there I just went downhill. I did ok for along time just functioning as I could and then last year crap hit the fan all of the sudden. Well things were getting worse muscle wise all the time but was ok until I ended up with h-pylori and man for awhile I wanted to just die. I still have trouble with my stomach at times. I think that with the detox I just keep hitting this stuff. Do you have viral symptoms all the time too? I do some days are better but for the most part if I try to slow up on the supps then I get hit big time for a couple of days. All of this is guess work I think and what can make us better especially since there is not alot of docs out there that understand all of this mess. Sad I think. We should all be docs when this is all over LOL

Yes I am sensitive to the EMF's but this happens to me all the time and not just at that time. That was just an example. It happens all the time. I have to be very careful not to over do it too or that will put me down for a couple of days. It usually happens in the afternoon but sometimes if I over did it the day before then it comes early the next day. Sometimes if it happens and I am trying to get home I have to be careful not to fall asleep at the wheel. I live about 20 miles out in the country so it makes it hard. Never thought I would have that problem. I had heard of people falling asleep while driving...did not know how that could happen but now I do cause it could happen to me now. Weird for sure.

I am sorry you're being hit with symptoms still. I don't tend to just get "hit" so to speak,but it is more chronic/ongoing. If I cheat a little on the diet, then I notice it and get hit like a ton of bricks, and then it lasts weeks.

Sometimes if I stick to the diet for long enough, I can begin to come out of it more. But it's unrealistic, when the tiniest thing hits me down again. So I'm not really winning any battles.

Are you finding any stability in your health at all these days? More good patches than bad? Even if you get hit by that strange fatigue? I really hope something somewhere is improving for you.

The sudden fatigue sounds almost like adrenals to me. But I don't know. Do you feel that your detoxing still in anyway? and perhaps sometimes it just hits you at once and almost knocks you out?

I also thought,like Linda,of the EMFs something like this could also be effecting you.
It's so unpredictable it makes planning anything very difficults,even if you wake up feeling fairly ok,or even good or great,in an hours time you could be fit for going back to bed.
I find the unpredictable nature of the fatigue one of the most frustrating symptoms !
sometimes for me it means having a sleep or at least lying down for a while,but sometimes the fatigue lifts just as suddenly as it appeared.

me too, I don't drive but have been in situations out in public,like at the bus stop or on a bus when I just felt comatosed ,which I had to fight as I've always had my son with me,which was difficult too,trying to be alert to mind him,and not miss our stop for I would not have the energy to walk any distance...
On one such trip I remember a man offering me his seat,I was sitting on my bag but I couldnt get up to take the seat ,someone else took his seat &so his wife gave me awful looks for the whole journey when it came to our stop,I tried to stand lost balance and almost fell ontop of their newborn baby in a pram.
I just kept saying I'm sorry,I'm sorry,she was fit to kill me! quite understandably too!
She may have thought I was drunk or something,I somehow managed to get off the bus and make it home,with my son,
somehow I always make it home and then I have to rest up for days,sometimes weeks.

Yes this sounds exactly the kind of fatigue I'm talking about, at the same time my balance becomes worse, although has definately got better, and my sight gets blurry and basically I just feel pretty yuck. But I agree it's so unpredictable, sometimes if I rest for just a short while it lifts or sometimes takes longer. It makes it difficult to plan things, although at present I'm fighting it, which is probably the wrong thing to do, because eventually it catches up with you anyway.
