I have made an appointment with a accupuncturist/ chinese herbalist in town to help with detox ,liver and kidney has anyone try this route and did they have any success ?

I have Mikey, have a friend who does it and I also went to a Chinese Herbalist and had it, did nothing for me, sorry to say. Love Tracy x

What are the new symptoms, if you don't mind me asking. Mikey just because the acupuncture didn't work for me it may for you. I know people who say it's worked wonders for them. I think I've been down every line of natural treatment there is and nothing helped. Thing thing I find weird is the total lack of any pattern to this illness. Like I had a really bad night last night, felt very ill, couldn't wait to get up. Things improved, felt fairly ok. Went shopping, went to my cousins for coffee. After an hour of coming home felt crap, head felt weird, lost all motivation, pins and needles in face and tired. Every day is so unpredictable.I mean you expect to feel crap all the time or well all the time, but it just keeps changing and changing and you just don't know what to expect. hi mikey, accupuncture made me worse, the massage was nice though!
when i got home i couldnt stop crying, i was a complete mess.they said i needed 10 treatments and didnt believe in mercury poisoning, they wanted me to pay in advance for the next nine treatments which i didnt do. for me it was a waste of £45.

Acupuncture works well for me. I have had good success with that recently. No detox reactions…just made me feel better. I had 4 sessions in 4 days and was very good indeed, as I felt great after that. Lots of long term knots have been removed from my back, my hips&spine are less wonky too;-) I will stop seeing my osteopath and change to acupuncture instead. I have been having osteopath work for 5-6 months every week and now it’s time to change….i had good success with the needles and I will do that. I am having 1 session a week at the moment but plan to do it twice a week.

Chinese herbs…..people say they are good…..but I will not take any herbs that I don’t know what they are or do. Gone are the times when I take herbs willy nilly.

I counted my supplements this morning….i take 24 different supplements/herbs a day. some I take 4 capsules a day, some just one…..i must pop 50 caps a day!

new symtoms are intestinal problems ,and very bad fatigue around noon and last for a few hours ,my work requires me to be on ladders all day and it gets very bad when you feel like you legs will collapse from under you ,started about 2 weeks ago along with all the other crappy symtoms , I just hope if I fall from the ladder that I ,ll get the ultimate instant cure from all this misery and not just more crap to add to the list

Yikes! I hope you don't fall! I've been feeling more lately, like my legs are going to go out from under me, too. Sometimes I worry when I'm in a store, that I'm going to just collapse. I don't, but I still worry.

Accupuncture works well for me.But every time I get worse before better.For example I had a really sore throat,had some accupunture,awoke during the night with extremely sore throat,by morning all traces of pain completely gone.
Happens every time, worse before better.

Mikey, I hope you feel better soon; you sound terrible! Are you getting any adrenal support? The extreme fatigue surely sounds adrenal.

I haven't tried accupuncture, but I've wondered myself. I've wondered if it's done with an electrical current, could you deliberately make the chelated Hg move toward excretion? I know this may be kinda far fetched, but it's a thought. I also wonder though if done improperly with an electral current, could you get hurt pretty badly? Maybe safest to not allow the current thing?

I was so optimistic after having my amalgams removed ,I started feeling really good within about the first 2 weeks , I was not cured but just happy to feel better than before, then around last fall started to feel more intense symtoms again , I know that this is just part of the cure I try to stay positive ,but sometimes you just feel helpless and hopeless and wish that it would just stop .

Mikey, what you got……. the 6 months body dumping mercury…….. I dread. Really dread it. Funk, I really really want to avoid that $hit. I got important things happening this year….i can’t afford to be funked up. I want my life back!

My dose tolerance of DMSA is so low, only 6mg….I’m fairly sure I got a high body burden……..i have a horrible feeling I will be joining you at some point in the next few months in a rough patch:(

Take good care of yourself. Always remember it will pass eventually. Have you restarted chelation with dmsa only yet?

yes started last week , on 8 mg dmsa only every 4 hours for 3 days 4 days off , will see how it gos ,thanks all for replys , I know that I will get through this , but it sure is a pain in the

I would love to know what you think of it and if it helps you...
It will probbly take a few sessions.I found it very effective.
For me I felt immediate benefits after just first session(but did feel worse before better)
I know how daunting it sounds when you feel so bad that the prospect of worse is NOT an option to consider!But everyone reacts differently that's just pattern for me.

had my first apointment last night , did not feel a thing , I had about 20 needles placed on different parts of my body for about half an hour , had a funny taste in my mouth the rest of the night and felt a small increase in symtoms , but not too bad for my first session , I do feel better this morning (knock on wood) she told me that 4 sessions is when many people see strong results ,she was focusing on the liver, kidneys and spleen

the accupunterist put me on a diet with no wheat , no sugar, no raw veggies, limited chicken ,limited red meat , but I can have gluten free yeast free bread, goat cheese , brown rice pasta, lots of eggs ,butter, cooked veggies ,many types of beans , how do you feel about this diet for candida bex

After an accupuncture session, I went home and went to bed. I slept for almost two days.
I wonder if it didn't get metals moving. I still had my amalgams back then and had never done any chelation.
