Anyone notice changes with the effects of Mercury/Candida in the Summer?
I don't know if my body was so deficient and couldn't fight the viruses that are out and about when the weather in cold. It seemed like I had the hardest time in the Winter months.. I would get relief in the Summer, but still have the effects of Mercury Poisoning. It could be that the Sun keeps Candida under Control?
Anyone experience this?
I haven't done any chelating yet, but I'm telling you what.. I'm starting to have more energy, I can keep going and not be so grumpy as before removal.
A few days after my last removal my arms became so heavy.. I couldn't even hardly lift them. It was an eye opener for me. I didn't know really if my body would respond, really once it no longer had to work on storing it. My body sure knew... When my arms got so heavy.. it was so weird. It didn't take long for that happen either.. Wonderful body... Thank you so much...
Now I'm hoping it's not just temp because of Summer.
Things don't bother me as much as they once did.. I think it's because I know I am well enough to do all the work that needs to be done.. I feel like I'm just Chill'in-Out now..
I loved finding this support site group.... We need each other, even if we are not all alike in our thinking. Lets choose to overlook... There are so many people out there reading this site for help.. Lets keep helping one another...

Maybe your Vitamin D defficient and do better in the summer due to getting more vitamin D from the sun. Just today I came across a post from a doctor who said that the mother of an autistic boy noticed that her son did much better in the summer than the winter, so the doctor began supplementing Vitamin D and the boy regained full speech. Interesting. More and more research is indicating the importance of Vitamin D for the immune system. I live in warm sunny weather year round so I don't notice much difference. I think I generally do better in the summer do to less stress (kids are not in school - slower schedule). I do know that I was getting skin cancers regularly and when I stopped avoiding the sun six years ago I stopped getting skin cancers (I am careful not to get burned though). Do you supplement with cod liver oil?

Nicola,
That's also interesting about needing less thyroid meds in the the summer and my immune system working better due to the thyroid working... I sure hope I keep feeling this good...., but need to get something going before Winter hits ... I don't want to feel bad any more...
Thank you for the info.. Bann

Same with me, i always feel better when i am in the sun and warm, the warmer the better. Spring time is always a good time for me after a long cold dark rainy winter. I love sauna’s and hot baths too. Nicola said: I do know that the thyroid has an easier time in the summer, so that could explain things. People taking replacement thyroid hormone need less in the summer than in the winter, and generally feel better all round - better mood, more energy, warmer etc. Thyroid levels and the immune system are inextricably linked, so your immune system might be fighting the candida more effectively in the summer. Vitamin D and the sunshine also help the immune system, so that could be playing a part too. I agree with Nicola's words wholeheartedly. Your thyroid controls your body temperature, keeping it at the appropriate temp, the warmer you are, the less work the compromised thyroid needs to do. Why is it compromised? Mercury is certainly a big factor, but there are many other pollutants and toxins than can affect it, which in turn influences our quality of life. Glad you are feeling better Bann…<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dance.gif" alt="" />
