Hi Shawn,
I have bad stomach problems and have had blood in my stools in the past. I was told that it was due to my IBS, poor digestion and severe constipation. It could also be hemmroids. I have recently been eating healthier, drinking filterd water and doing colonics. This has helped me a great deal thus far and I plan to continue this until I don't feel as toxic as I have been lately. I am 7 months post removal and I have been doing dry brushing, taking clay baths, walking, parasite cleansing and bowel cleansing, as well as my daily supplements. Somedays I get to feeling better and then I have a set back. It's like two steps forward 1 step back but I can feel myself getting stronger and I plan to continue my regimen until I feel healed. Overall, I am on doing much better. I hope you get to feeling better real soon.

Blood in the stool might be due to parasites, vitamin K deficiency, taking too many supplements like vitamin E or garlic that are anticoagulants, or hemorrhoids. If the blood in the stool is severe, then get help immediately. There also are some more serious causes of blood in the stool. I hope you aren't taking any aspirin, ibuprofin or acetaminophin on a regular basis, as these are also anticoagulants. Vitamin C in large quantities(more than a gram or two a day) can also act as an anticoagulant. vitamin E supplements are potent anticoagulants and should be avoided when there is blood in the stool.
So I suggest that you stop taking vitamin E supplements, cut out aspirin, ibuprofen and acetaminophen, and take vitamin K supplements(100 mcg twice a day?).

I'm not disputing that at all. I have suffered candida and was given vitamin K by a doctor (who practised in alternative medicine), but he monitored me and gave it short term because it helps clot the blood. It helped warm me up and then my diet was adjusted (elimination of sugar, wheat/gluten, yeast etc). I was then taken off vitamin K, as I recall he said he was wary to use it long term because of the blood clotting ability. Vitamin K is actually used to prevent haemorrhagic disease in newborns. But even then, apparently there could be some other risks attached: http://www.vaccination.inoz.com/VitaminK.htmlAnimal studies have linked large doses of vitamin K to a variety of conditions that include anaemia, liver damage, kidney damage and death.
· Interestingly the common problem that occurs these days of jaundice in newborns has only been reported since the introduction of Vitamin K administration.
· According to the product insert, adverse reactions include haemolysis (or hemolysis - American spelling) (meaning breakdown of red blood cells), haemolytic anaemia (a disorder characterised by chronic premature destruction of red blood cells), hyperbilirubinemia (too much bilirubin in blood) and jaundice (yellow skin and eyes resulting from hyperbilirubinemia), and allergic reactions include face flushing, gastrointestinal upset, rash, redness, pain or swelling at injection site and itching skin. It also warns that large enough doses can cause brain damage in infants and/or impairment to liver function. Hypoxia has also been published as having occurred in infants after Vitamin K administration. I remember when I took vitamin K, it warmed me up really well and I remember I didn't want to stop taking it. But there was a reason for the discontinuation of it. You can get vitamin K naturally from certain foods - leafy green foods, collard greens, spinach, broccoli, asparagus, brussels sprouts and salad greens, cauliflower, liver etc without the risks. It might be a safer method to take it long term perhaps....short term might be ok with the supplement, but I'd personally adjust the diet to heal up the gut (getting rid of sugars, wheat/gluten etc) and include the foods containing vitamin K naturally. That's what worked for me then and what the doctor did for me long term. I'm sure he would have continued with the vitamin K if there wasn't the risks, but he didn't. He did of course continue with other vitamins like B complex, magnesium/calcium etc and essential fatty acids and the diet.
