Howdy, I have only 2 fillings in my mouth, they are the back two teeth on the lower left side of my mouth. I feel like it's probably best just to get them pulled straight out(the whole tooth) rather than risk any mercury going into my system at all during removal of fillings. Then maybe in the future get those 2 teeth capped or something. Anyone have a reason why I should not take this approach? Do you think I will have trouble finding a dentist who will pull out 2 otherwise "perfectly good teeth"? I can cope chewing on one side of my mouth anyway, and I can sacrifice chewing pleasure for improved general health, another reason I want to do this is I am recovering from benzo withdrawal(the worst pharmacutical drug addiction) even though it's been 4 years since I tapered off I feel like my system is still too sensitive to cope with any extra burden.

I guess I might as well throw in some of my history here... Prior to benzos my symptoms were general anxiety, bad social anxiety, gynecomastia(might not be related to mercury toxicity), hard time concentrating and paying attention in class, frequent urination, frequent thirst, function poorly with less than 8 hours of sleep. By far the most restricting symptom was/is social anxiety. Hence my ignorant entrace into the pharmacutical drug world. I was on the drug for a year, it didnt do anything except turn me into a zombie make me gain weight and other side effects... and for a year of that I paid for with 4 years of suffering in withdrawal... each year less painful than the previous as I slowly recovered. Symptoms were: severe depression, dysphoria, derealisation, blurry vision, poor memory, fear, anxiety, weight gain(I gained 27 pounds), fatigue, poor sleeping patterns, frequent urination and thirst. Anyway I'm now at my pre drug weight, all my mental symptoms have improved but I'm still not at what I consider to be a fulfilling life and not where i was pre benzo, my CNS is still recovering and it is not uncommon for benzo WD to last several years. Benzo withdrawal is like a roller coaster, symptoms come and go and since withdrawal has takin such a long time it's hard for me to figure out what is causing what. I've tried tweaking my diet(which has helped a lot) cutting out different foods, adding certain things, like raw milk which some see as a miracle food source. So with the recovery from benzos it's hard for me to say which symptoms are mercury related.

I guess I need to get a mercury toxicity test done. Didn't mean to stretch this post into my life story, if you can answer my question from the first paragraph that will be helpful...

I am very sorry hear about your trouble with a pharmaceutical drug. Those drugs are dangerous and they hand them out like CANDY!

It may be tough to find a dentist who will pull the teeth. If you can find a dentist who isn't out to make a buck it shouldn't be a problem. However dentists look in a mouth and see dollar signs popping up. Pulling a teeth is usually the cheapest method, so they don't like to go that route. They'd rather sell you a crown, bridge or implant which can costs THOUSANDS of dollars!

Would I get them pulled? Probably not, but I guess it depends on your age too. I'm 24 and I certainly don't want to pull any teeth because I figure I better keep them as long as possible. But if your 55+ and see dentures in your future, then I can understanding wanting to get them pulled. Eating on one side of the mouth long term can do damage to your jaw if I'm not mistaken.

My dentist did a very good job at removing the amalgams. He cuts around the outside of it and then carefully pushes the material into the suction tool. He does the least amount of drilling as possible. You want to find a dentist who understands why this is important. Don't go to a dentist who doesn't believe in mercury poisoning or one who thinks amalgams are safe. They will do a TERRIBLE job!

The mercury toxicity tests can be dangerous, so I no longer recommend them to anyone. It can cause irreparable damage because of the mercury that gets stirred up in the body with no where to go. The best way to find out is to start on a lose dose of DMSA (after amalgam removal) and see if you have symptoms. If you do then you know metals are being pulled out of your body.

I see you have frequent urination and thirst. I have this as well and was diagnosed with diabetes insipidus. This can be caused by mercury in the pituitary gland!

Unfortunately this is all I can type atm because my left hand and arm are going numb. The joys of mercury toxicity...

Something strange happened to me right after dinner now, i faded in a "white out" as i call em, like fainting.. not blackout but whiteout to my best description, and got nausiated and lost hearing of sharp sound for 2-3 minutes.. then my haidpain disapeared like as if my body pumped my skull full of natural morphine or something... then i got lightheaded and weird as the fainting feeling faded, real lightheaded, and im also now after 10minuts feeling a pressure on my right inner ear or over my right ear, dont know what that lobe is call in english.. can recall.. anyway my left side feels like it has shut down or is painless and normal... not numb at all... same with the rest of the scull.

I really tought i had a minor stroke or something... i allways tend to think the worst... dont we all do? most of of are scared from what i have read..

I'm scared of trying to go to sleep, fearing that i never wake up again.... fearing coma... but rationally, i have read about poor souls in here that have had strange symptoms much worse than me.. and lived...

I'm praying to Jesus to let me wake up the next morning, every night i go to sleep... i love my life, and this heavy metall thing is scary!

I initally had only 3 fillings left at the age of 31, the rest cracked from expansion some years ago... but now i have drilled out 2, but the dentist FU..ER cheated and tried to fill in and hide amalgam remainders, so i used a mirror after he removed the safty gear, and then he drilled out most of it after me arguing 8 times or so, but then without the sucktion and cofferdam...

So... I tried 5,5,0,7,0,15grams (days, 0 = dayskip) of sun chlorella the week after drillout, and got like a panic anxiety attack, never had one in my life before... was like a mouse beein bittien by a snake... brainfog and whats worse... HELL times 10.
Since then after i got better after a day, i have had a feeling of more mercury in my head..... Im not the first.. I didnt have moving bowels and didnt take minerals.....

But now, iwe fixed my bi-kidney or what its called, well am fixing , coz i had a system crash with fatigue 4 days after the chlorella. 2 days between the chlorella overdose and the fatigue crash where perfectly fine.. allmost like cured...

And now.. since that i have gotten my bowels moving again with lacto bacterials (youghurt) and multivitamin / minerals, and am planning classic wet saunas and just take it naturally and gently.

But these swings can be and are scare, especially when you know too much and have read too much about the lowlevel bio chemreactions of the body. Yeah i found a doc on the net with some non-layman stuff about the aminos and reactions and stuff..

You know... the sulfur mercury connection, namely why garlic works... and much more... about why magnesium zinc and the other stuff work the way they do.... ammino conversions and such... real complicated stuff, but i grasped enough of it to give me a glimpse of whats going on chemicly when fatigued and when sulfur chelating... and so on...

Garlic has, but that i can tollerate, but am waiting with that until i get stronger metabolism.. anyway... what is that dizzy lightheadedness, it came so sudden with nausia and whiteout first, then faded and got my lightheaded instead? not a stroke??
I think the worst... but know it cant be, but what if it is.. bacause now i am pulling to the right a bit when walking.. light if my right inner ear is under numbness / pressure... and i cant feel pressure or nada in my left innerear or part of scull for that matter...

Getting them pulled is the best and safest thing to do... to avoid new retox reactions after drilling, and to avoid hidden amalgam patches that the dentist hoped you never saw he filled in... But what are the options... as i said before... Dentures (Also poison, but u can atleast take the out during the night), Titanscrewed phony teeth with more chemicals in them + one metall screw pr tooth?? And they sit there permanently, atleast till your jawbone cavitates and maybe kills a person?

So i say, the pulp or nerve isn't only a pressure sensor, it may also be a taste bud, because our dentin is porous and when you usually say.. To sink you teeth into... it means that juices from the stake or food can touch the nerve itself.. maybe.. atleast some.. because first and foremost the pulp feels by using hydraulics in the dentint micro tubules... and food may mix with some of that hydraulic fluid and get tasted by the nerve... So the nerve IS for sure a bite pressure sensor, but can also possibly be a tastebud (the latter... My theory). Anyway it doesnt stop there... One dentist on YouTube said it was like a sparkplug that may focus the CHI energy from the body meridians, (then i add) before it wirelessly enter straight up, focused, and into our brains.... It may infact truly be our second spinalcord neural connection, but only that this one is wireless... Hence the amalgam making confused magnetic fluxes and disabeling the body and generates tinnitus...

Think about it... The damage is done... But we can choose to atlest from two option groups from there... Group 1, Dentures or titanscrewd inlays, or group 2, try to keep our teeth with other chemicals in them (fillings), and even keep some rootcanals...

So.. I say.. its tempting to pull them all out... I think that is the least of two evils!
But do i want to? The only "safe" option in Group 1, is really dentures.. but hey....

There are socalled hollistic dentists....
And the case is... the americans are the lucky ones.. Americans atleast has holistic dentists.. lots of them... some good, some bad...

But in Norway... yeah... there arent many if any... Denmark has a few.. but here.. noway.. We have ordinary NTF dentists.. (ADA in norway sort of) that pulls mercury teeth with safeties and some without... but not REAL hollistic dentists...

Interestingly enough - the military will only allow soldiers to get amalgam when using military dentists.... (And our insurance won't pay for anything but amalgam - we have to pay the extra for composites).

5-10 years ago if you talked about mercury poisoning from amalgams you were called a crazy conspiracy theorist, kook etc. Just because some of the topics on the other forums on this website aren't "mainstream" doesn't mean they aren't real. @Ole My main symptom is the lightheadedness and the "whiteouts". I read your post about the whiteouts and it almost mad me cry! Someone else understands!! My hearing completely goes away when I have these and I become heavy and nearly fall down.

Now when I have these, I immediately check my blood pressure. It is usually around 80/60 when these occur. I would guess that your blood pressure is falling rapidly.

That wouldnt be because amalgams are cheaper right? Nah couldnt be that....
