Hi there all

I have a question regarding chelation as regards to different ypes of mercury. I had my amalgams out in 2005 but didn't feel as terrible as i did when i was vaccinated in 2006 for tetanus( i think the vaccine filled my bucket to the top and then some). So im asking the question if a vaccine is injected into my blood stream would one type of chelator be better than another? It almost feels like the mercury is in my muscle tissues(i remember after the vaccine feeling a burning sensation in my muscles). I've tried ALA(its amazing how different brands seem to affect me in different ways) All i feel is stoned. DMSA makes my face look all sucked in. Is one type of chelator better than another for vaccines?

It's interesting you mention your face looking all sucked in. That happened to me when mercury toxic and also when detoxing from mercury. It gave me a feeling of mouth constriction, like things were being pulled inwards. The symptoms you are mentioning here are probably due to the mercury being chelated one way or the other. Feeling stoned is another one. I have gone through these symptoms.

I don't know if there is a chelator better for vaccines. I'm assuming that it would be much the same for amalgams. DMSA chelates extra cellular mercury (mercury outside of cells and the one in which should be used first to clear blood/tissue). And ALA chelate intracellular mercury/organ mercury. Which should be used once blood levels have first been reduced.

This would apply I'm sure for any mercury toxic situation. However you got the exposure, ALA should not be used with amalgams. And it should not be used earlier than 3 months post amalgam removal or other mercury exposure. During that 3 months it is wise to use DMSA, but some simply wait it out and then use ALA by itself when 3 months is up.

I personally feel that DMSA should be used. And I think for sometime, probably even longer than specified, as it was STILL causing enough symptoms in me to make me realise that I probably wouldn't be so good at tolerating ALA until I was able to use DMSA without so many symptoms. However, ALA is necessary in the respect it starts chelating organs and in doing so, prevents the mercury from building back up again because there comes a time when the mercury does start leaking/dumping out of the organs. So I think that's why Cutler suggests getting onto the organs rather promptly.

Thimerosal=ethyl mercury and my dentist told me amalgam mercury is ionic mercury(though im not certain of this myself). If you can get to the German company "Heyls" website(cant remember how i did this) and tell them your a doctor or student of pharmacy you can download the scientific monograph for DMPS which is around like 300 pages long and goes into HUGE details comaparing DMSA to DMPS and there effectivenss of chelating a range of metals and a range of different types of mercury.

It is a common misperception that you need to do something different for the various forms of mercury you might get poisoned with by different quack (mainstream) healthcare providers.

Actually they all convert to the same form - inorganic mercuric mercury - in your body. This happens within seconds for mercury vapor, hours for calomel (mercurous mercury, seldom used any more), and months for organic mercury.

Once converted they're all the same, all chelate the same, and ALA is the essential chelator to clear them out of the brain and organs.

Thanks for all the replies. I guess i'll be getting the ALA out and will start another round tomorrow. My candida isn't as bad as it used to be as my food cravings have gone.

The mercury vapor coming off of fillings has no charge , but it quickly reacts and becomes 2+.

Vaccines have many things in them other than mercury . Your reaction could be to something in the vaccine other than mercury such as a virus.Many people with compromised immune systems such as Aids patients have died shortly after getting flu shots.
