Big questions! I don't recommend this because it's not necessarily a healthy idea but, if you need to know, this can help. It's what I did. Eat tuna 3 days in a row. See how you feel on the third day. Wait a week to 10 days and do it again. Is there a pattern. Does depression or do other symptoms you have increase on the third day? If that doesn't work, you can try the same with some other kind of fish. Of course, not all tuna and fish have the same amounts of mercury here. You're not looking for a solid effect, you're searching for a pattern that occurs over several experiments. About detoxing... This is a huge subject and there are some excellent books on the subject. The best book I know of is: Amalgam Illness: Diagnosis and Treatment Do not rush detox. It really is a lifestyle and has a large learning curve. The good news is that the more you learn, the better you can control your health and emotional strength (mercury has a profound effect on the emotions by changing your biochemistry!). I also love the book I mentioned above because it helps you treat the symptoms while you still have a lot of mercury in your body. It helps you take control and learn how to associate what you're feeling with what is happening to your body chemistry (T4 and T3 levels, sugar levels, candida, ATP, seritonin, etc.) The most important things to remember is that detox is a lifestyle and: Mercury detox is a game of exdurance, not speed!
