Just a few things that I mentioned before but I don't know where the posts are:
1) A few weeks ago, I said that I was taking Alpha Lipoic Acid in a multivitamine and was feeling no ill effects. Well, that was for a day or two. The next couple of days I felt horrible. Took me a while to figure out what was the cause.
2) I mentioned taking magnesium to over-bowel tolerance to combat chronic constipation. That works well for a short while. After a while, you start to feel rather limp. My double vision got worse (if possible) and I just felt drained. I guess since magnesium is a great relaxer, you CAN get too much of a good thing. I also read in the book "The Miracle of Magnesium" that people with a slow heartbeat should not take magnesium as it may slow the heart beat down too much. I have a very slow heartbeat at times, but it didn't seem to do that to me. Good thing - sometimes my heart rate is down to 48.
