I have been having alot of sensitivity where my three major fillings are. I have noticed lately that I have been waking up to clenching my teeth. Not really hard but some. Also, about 2 nights ago I bit down and I am sure it was a tiny piece of my filling that has come loose. I have written before how the biggest filling has two major cracks. I looked at them closely today and they have kind of come up out of the filling area where they are cracked and there is definitely some of the mercury missing. I am going a week from Friday to get the fillings removed. How major is this that my filling is falling apart this much before I get there next week. Also, I am kind of confused about eating eggs or not. Russ, could you explain that again, if you don't mind. Also, do I need to not take ANY vitamin C before I go into the dentist next week. I take 8000 mg of vit. C but also have over 300% daily allowance in my probiotic supplement and in the Perfect Food greens I take. Should I cut out all of those before I go in? And one more thing, what can I expect after the dentist appointment? Is it fairly normal to experience worse health before it begins to get better? Thanks for all the help!!!! Blessings!!!

I have noticed lately that I have been waking up to clenching my teeth. This is exactly what I would do. My jaw would sometimes ache in the morning. This info is in my story located here: My Mercury Story How major is this that my filling is falling apart this much before I get there next week. Sounds like you're having the removal just in time. It's hard to say how serious it is having pieces coming off. If you're concerned, I would call the Dentist and ask him what he thinks about it (Hopefully he is trained in mercury safety). Also, I am kind of confused about eating eggs or not. Russ, could you explain that again, if you don't mind. Sure. Eggs contain a lot of sulphur. Sulphur binds to mercury and pulls it into the blood. When it's in the blood, some of the mercury can escape and redistribute in the body. I recommend NOT having high sulphur foods while fillings are still in. Once the fillings are removed, you may still want to limit sulphur intake because it can redistribute mercury. Of course, sulphur is vital for life for you have to have some in your diet. So when you do, take some Algin to absorb mercury while it's in the blood. Sulphur will help you detox, but you must be careful because you can get sick. I tried taking MSM after the removal and was sick for several days. Bottom line, sulphur is vital, but have only small amounts until you have spent some time detoxing, then increase as you can tolerate it. Always take algin with any sulphur-bearing food and monitor your symptoms. Most dentists forget to notify you that vitamin C can interfere with the effects of local anesthesia. I wouldn't take it within 48 hours before your visit if your dentist is using local. Otherwise, vitamin C is awesome and provides numerous protective effects against the effects of mercury, as well as countless essential functions in the body. the USRDAs are way too low, as they are with most nutrients. And one more thing, what can I expect after the dentist appointment? Is it fairly normal to experience worse health before it begins to get better? Many people experience a great feeling of euphoria for 24 to 48 hours after. My business partner Laura cried during her 1/2-way break because of the feeling of emotional relief she experienced. We both experienced about 24 hours of euphoria. Then, normally, the next 3 to 18 months are the rollar coaster ride. Good days and bad days are normal, and if you can determine what factors (food, sleep, stress, etc.) contribute most to the bad days, you can manage them. After this, it's better month by month and you begin to wonder how different your life would be if you never had amalgam fillings in the first place. My life is better than ever. You have no idea. Laura's health and emotional outlook has improved dramatically. Unfortunately, some get worse, especially those who don't have the fillings removed safely. I have had contact with some of these people. These people can, with some determination, get better if they set some lifestyle rules and take the right supplements. Unfortunately, these often go on the way they always have and conclude that mercury was not the solution to their problems. It's so important to have it done correctly. Statistically, Hal Huggins says (simplistically-speaking) 80% get better, 20% experience little or no change. Those 20% need to use supplements to stimulate the detox process. In My Mercury Story I tell about how I felt afterward in detail. Well, I hope this helps and please tell us how it goes.
