I'd encourage anybody to save this information on their computer and share it. I think this is something people need to read and have a right to know.

Hi Boldylox. you're welcome! I am really glad I found these links. Ive tried brushing my teeth with bar soap as suggested and it's not gross at all, far better and more effective than tooth paste and they STAY clean.

I won't know the real effects until later, but so far Im impressed.

Wish I has been given such wonderful and simple advice as a kid. I saved the pages for my daughter, who will never be taken to a dentist by me, never.

I will never ever forget going to the dentist aa a kid, with a couple of teeny teeny tiny little spots on my teeth... and returning home with the entire tooth or 3 plugged with silver.. silver ha.

While I do believe that fluoride is bad for us and that we should rinse the acid from our teeth...I don't agree wih all his statements.

I don't agree that sugar is not harmful, and I think that it and bacteria both methylate stored up mercury and create plaque that is very harmful to our gums and implicated in heart disease also. I actually saw a Colgate ad that promoted the connection between tooth plaque and arterial plague the other day, so that is at least something they are admitting to.

Hi Sandi, yeah I agree about the sugar thing. I think he got that part wrong. Though it may not "DIRECTLY' effect teeth, it does ruin teeth by the fact that it damages a person internally and teeth are part of our health, gums and all. So he did not take that part onboard. Sugar also disrupts mineral and nutrient intake.

So perhaps he's just not up on the sugar danger side of things. Yeah at least colgate did admit to that! That's quite a statement. I do believe though that Dr Judd did have some amazing stuff to say. To clean the teeth and gums thoroughly by using bar soap, where there is no leftover film, just clean teeth that can re-enamelise once the person gets the corrects nutrients in their diet at the sametime.

It's hard to know which way to go because there are so many differing and contradictory statements out there, but I'm going to see how this goes with the soap and see what happens.

Chewing sugarless gum with xylitol after meals promotes remineralization of tooth enamel. Brushing after meals wears down enamel. According to Laura Nader, professor of Anthropology, the ancients did'nt get cavities until the advent of dried fruit. Dried fruit is the worst thing for your teeth probably because it sticks to the teeth , so stop giving your children raisins.

yeah I don't believe in overbrushing teeth either. perhaps rinsing with water after meals is the way to go, as Dr Judd , rather than brushing all the time. They only need to be brushed once in morning and once at night.
