A few people on the IAHF list have forwarded an alert to us that originated from a controlled opposition group called the "Natural Solutions Foundation". Since entering our movement, this dubious organization has been actively interfering with the work of IAHF and allied organizations via a campaign of disinformation and spin intended to distract dietary supplement consumers from the REAL issues in an attempt to subvert and hijack our movement by steering the grass roots into dead ends. Their recent campaign calls attention to an FDA Federal Register Notice (http://www.fda.gov/OHRMS/DOCKETS/98fr/E7-3259.htm) which they outrageously assert threatens to block non MDs from recommending dietary supplements to patients is no exception.

They would have us believe that unless we flood the FDA with their form comment, that the FDA is going to suddenly start attacking any non MD (chiropractor, ND, etc) who recommends dietary supplements to a patient.

NSFs assertions are both false and absurd. They would have us believe that FDA has the ability to rewrite the law. FDA can't do that, only Congress can. They would have us believe that through a Federal Register notice, FDA has the ability to make changes to the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 under which dietary supplements are regulated as foods. They would have us believe that based on what FDA is saying, that unless FDA hears from a lot of people, non MDs (naturopaths, chiropractors) will suddenly not be allowed to recommend dietary supplements to patients and that health food stores would no longer be allowed to sell them to us. That is both false and absurd! This is the worst form of sensationalism and it has NO PLACE in this movement!



WHAT NSF IS TRYING TO DISTRACT YOU FROM

It should be self evident that unless we are able to stop our country from being forced into the North American Union, that failure to defend our sovereignty equals failure to defend the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act and all of our other laws as well as our Constitution.

Laibow/Stubblebine aren't doing a damn thing to call attention to this, moreover, when our movement attempted to kill CAFTA, (recognizing that the SPS language it contains ropes us more into CODEX) Laibow/Stubblebine generated no less than SEVEN spin pieces against our message while SIMULTANEOUSLY telling people that they'd just achieved a (non existent) "VICTORY" at Codex.

Because the Natural Solutions Foundation is so strikingly effective, it is the target of these typical smear attacks. In fact, this type of personal attack and disinformation is a typical weapon of the multinational and government agencies which do not want truth to be known. After reading this for the first time and without checking into any details, my first inclination is to believe the original posting (by Russ Tanner) because I am personally presently experiencing these same kinds of lies / deception from a "church." At first I thought this was a normal church, but soon found out that it is a cult in disguise. They speak the same language that normal churches speak but behind the scenes they are trying to destroy as many people's lives as possible, with a license. Additionally, they are using taxpayer money / government agencies to do their dirty work. It is disgusting.

I'm interested in your situation. How is this church destroying people's lives?


This sounds interesting. I have knowledge about infiltrations into churches. Amazingly, so may people are still unaware of this type of activity. So many have forgotten that there are self-serving people that hate God and Christ and spend their lives trying to destroy anything related. How foolish.

Also, the modern Bible translations are corrupt as well. I highly recommend that people check out the amazing research of Gale Riplinger. Her work and character are shredded on the internet but I've seen her interviewed, I've watched her videos and I say with confidence that her work stands on it's own. The desperate slanderers of this incredible and diligent researcher are working hard because she brings information to the table that true believers need to hear.

I also have to agree with the other post about who I agree with on the health freedoms defense front. I don't see any reason to be bombarding the FDA with comments during public hearings when the real action needs to take place in congress. This is a useless waste of time. The FDA could not care less about the comments of the public. The FDA is in place simply to defend the profits of the pharmaceutical companies, nothing more.

There is a principle used in overcoming opposition called assimilation. If you cannot infiltrate an organization, you simply create so many of your own organizations that look like the real thing yet are serving contradictory information that people become confused, exhausted, and frustrated and end up leaving the movement. In the end, the opposition controls the very movement that proclaims to be against themselves.

Most governments of the world have already been assimilated. A small piece of evidence a person can see of this is the yellow-fringe flag. This is a flag that has a yellow, fringe border around it. Every industrialized nation of the world has one and every state (also individual nations) of the U.S. has one.

This flag is used as a legal maneuver to quietly coerce people into U.C.C. (Uniform Commercial Code) contracts (similar in other nations) that entangle them into endless confusing statutes (not laws) that control every aspect of their lives. With this control, comes money and power:

Well, enough for now. I hope this post helps someone wake up to the evil that is taking place before our eyes.

We came to this church because we needed a place to live and the church rents out small houses for relatively low rents. They advertise as a ministry and we actually thought it was a legitimate ministry, but were surprised to find out that we were wrong. We had to sign the rental contract which states that we must attend a minimum of two church services per week and follow a few other rules (no smoking, drinking alcolohic beverages, no pornography). This did not seem like a big deal for getting a place to live after having lived on the street, so of course we took it. My uncle smokes and really could not stop smoking though he was planning to try, but we went to the services and actually enjoyed it at first (at least I did). But one day in a Sunday service something happened that we were uncomfortable with and we decided to sit in the back from that time on. Also, on another day after that, when the pastor's wife walked by us during the service and waved to us and we did not turn and look at her with a return smile, she never smiled at us again. She scowled at us from then on and we knew that they had turned against us. (some other things happened too, involving my uncle working for them at extremely low wages in order to pay the rent and then hurting his back on the job which they didn't have insurance for) The more services we attended the more uncomfortable we became and felt a lot of pressure to conform to doing things during the service that were against our faith (we thought we only had to attend services, not obey every word out of the master's mouth), and the pastor continually spoke in a demeaning manner to the people during the services (and this is still continuing). One day I felt that God wanted me to write a letter to the pastor actually trying to help him to see what was wrong (and I actually really thought he would have an open mind and pure heart to receive it). I wrote and sent the letter by e-mail but he never responded. Instead, 3 weeks later we received a notice stating that "the board of directors has decided not to renew your lease after...." So I went to the Human Rights Commission and filed a complaint. An investigation was begun but cut short in the middle of it by some political pressure which is carefully being kept hidden from us. We are now still living in the house, but the battle is not finished and we are awaiting direction from God on what to do next. Through this whole thing we have been talking with our neighbors and found that this has been going on for about 12 years now. We certainly are not the only ones that have been targeted in this way, but probably the first ones to even make a dent at restraining their madness. Our closest neighbor had been living here for 6 years when our battle began and he was working for the church and his wages were free rent with utilities paid and about $20.00 per week (or per month?, I forgot), and actually expected to live on that, and take care of 3 children at the same time. And we have heard story after story of other people who have been severely oppressed by them, all of us people who refused to "worship" them. I was told by a reliable witness that they used to force people to move out with a week's notice when they simply decided they didn't want them around anymore. (every time they evict someone the sherriff has to come out to take them away - that's where the taxpayer dollars come into play.) Their whole game is played for money and power and simply the enjoyment of getting revenge on people whom they hate - God's people. They are getting away with it by lies - lies that are very skillfully crafted and filled with power and, yes, slander. It's amazing how easily they lie and how easily people believe it. I have been slandered very badly and found that no matter how much I tried to explain what really happened, no-one would believe me because the power of the lies was so extreme. In fact I couldn't even get anyone to listen to the explanations. Now I no longer try to defend myself. Instead I'm working to expose them. The truth of the matter is that they are shifting the blame for their own sins onto anyone else that they can dump it onto in order to get out of being punished. So far it has worked, but it will not work forever. And in fact I believe that their sand castle is beginning to crumble now (which is why they have not been able to get us out of the house yet, unlike all of the people who came before us).

Scriptures of God's promises that I placed on my refrigerator / walls in relation to this situation:

"No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and this is their vindication from me declares the Lord."

" Every Word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar."

And I almost forgot to add about the brainwashing. Some people are spiritually strong enough to not allow their minds to be manipulated by people like this, but it takes a lot of energy to sit through sermons week after week and listen to every word the man (or woman) says and not allow it to penetrate. Most people cannot stand up under this kind of pressure, and we got exhausted in the process of trying. We sincerely thanked God when we no longer had to attend services because we were threatened with eviction.

non-existent. CODEX is the final step in this 100 year-old battle to remove "citizen independence" in the area of health and medicine. The first Medical Acts around 1910 already contained the statement that it is illegal for citizens "to diagnose, cure or PREVENT a disease".

Since it has become an indisputable scientific FACT that nutrition is the best PREVENTION and CURE of disease, the owners of the "sickness-industry" are determined to remove this ECONOMIC THREAT to their MONOPOLY CONTROL over the health-sickness arena by regulating these nutrients "out of the open marketplace" and under the pharmaceutical umbrella, where these nutrients become their property and they can exercise control over their

We are already witnessing the extension of this monopoly - namely the concept of "mandatory" medication, with non-compliance constituting a felony. (Parents are already losing their children to the State for non-compliance - called "medical negligence" over vaccination. (Read the Emergency Provisions of the PATRIOT ACT!) That says it all!

Let's call a spade a spade - and focus in on the REAL ISSUE. This is a battle for survival as a free people!

Dietary Supplements and Health Freedom

Millions of Americans take dietary supplements every day, and the numbers
are growing as the Baby Boom generation ages. More and more Americans
understandably are frustrated with our government-controlled health care system. They have concluded that vitamins, minerals, and other supplements might help them stay healthy and less dependent on the system. They use supplements because they can buy them freely at stores and research them freely on the internet, without government interference in the form of
doctors, prescriptions, HMOs, and licenses. In other words, they use supplements because they are largely free to make their own choices, in stark contrast to the conventional medical system.

But we live in an era of unbridled government regulation of both our personal lives and the economy, and Food and Drug administration bureaucrats burn to regulate supplements in the same manner as prescription drugs.

The health nannies insist that many dietary supplements are untested and unproven, and therefore dangerous. But the track record for FDA-approved drugs hardly inspires confidence. In fact, far more Americans have died using approved pharmaceuticals than supplements. Not every dietary supplement performs as claimed, but neither does every FDA drug.

The FDA simply gives people a false sense of security, while crowding out private watchdog groups that might provide truly disinterested consumer information. It fosters a complacent attitude and a lack of personal responsibility among people who assume a government stamp of approval means
a drug must be safe, and that they need not study a drug before taking it.

The FDA, like all federal agencies, ultimately uses its regulatory powers in political ways. Certain industries and companies are rewarded, and others are punished. No regulatory agency is immune from politics, which is why the FDA should not be trusted with power over our intimate health
care decisions.

The real issue is not whether supplements really work, or whether FDA drugs really are safe. The real issue is: Who decides, the individual or the state? This is the central question in almost every political issue. In free societies, individuals decide what medical treatments or health supplements are appropriate for them.

Over the past decade the American people have made it clear they do not want the federal government to interfere with their access to dietary supplements. In 1994, Congress bowed to overwhelming public pressure and passed the Dietary Supplements and Health and Education Act, which liberalized the rules regarding the regulation of dietary supplements. Congressional offices received a record number of comments in favor of the Act, which demonstrates how strongly Americans feel about health freedom.

The FDA simply has thumbed its nose at Congress and ignored the new rules in many instances, by attempting to suppress information about health supplements. But in 1999 a federal appellate court affirmed that the American people have a First Amendment right to such information without
interference from the FDA. However, members of Congress have had to intervene with the FDA on several occasions to ensure that they followed the court order.

My regular listeners already know about another looming threat to dietary supplement freedom. The Codex Alimentarius Commission, an offshoot of the United Nations, is working to "harmonize" food and supplement rules between all nations of the world. Under Codex rules, even basic vitamins and
minerals will require a doctors prescription. As Europe moves ever closer to adopting Codex standards, it becomes more likely that the World Trade Organization will attempt to force those standards on the United States. This is yet another example of how the WTO threatens American sovereignty. By cooperating with Codex, the FDA is blatantly ignoring the will of
Congress and the American people.

It is interesting that Dr Laibow does not refer to us directly, presumably because she is fearful that it might drive further interest towards our many and diverse health freedom activities in different parts of the world. Dr Laibow’s interpretation of the recent progress is that “natural source[s of] supplements are no longer in danger, now they are considered as foods” and she goes on to say “We agree with the basic [sic] principle: supplements are foods and therefore considered safe.” But is she confusing ‘safe to health’ from ‘safe from regulators’? Dr. Laibow also doesn’t appear to appreciate that food supplements in Europe are already regarded as a category of food, but the recent European Commission decision makes natural sources of vitamins and minerals food ingredients, which require no proof of safety before going to market, rather than food supplement ingredients (vitamins and minerals), which require evidence of proof of safety. Creating this evidence can be prohibitively expensive for many supplement companies.</font></p><p><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Dr Laibow continues by outlining in a grossly inaccurately manner, the background to our case in the European Union (EU) - again making no mention of the name of our organisation - and even cites her endorsement of </font><a href="http://www.alliance-natural-health.org/_docs/ANHwebsiteDoc_120.pdf"><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">our December 2004 critique</font></a><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"> to the Food and Agriculture Organization/World Health Organization on planned Codex approaches to nutrient risk assessment. It seems that she might be looking for praise or credit, but she doesn’t seem to have realised that the document she endorsed has absolutely no link with our actions on natural sources.  Dr Laibow’s signature on our 2004 document also represented the first time she became known to us, and we should point out that our Board subsequently requested that we remove her from the list of endorsees on the grounds of her lack of credibility and accuracy on Codex issues. </font></p><p><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Dr Laibow’s fundamental misunderstanding of events in Europe appears be based on her apparent gross confusion over the differences between work we are doing, 1) help prevent a ban on ingredients such as natural sources of nutrients, and, 2) maintaining dosages of nutrients, which are at serious risk of being limited to non-therapeutic levels by flawed, scientifically irrational approaches to risk assessment and management.</font></p><h3>What has ANH actually achieved in relation to natural sources of nutrients</h3><p><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">The victory to which the ANH lays claim is that our strategy has caused the European Commission to agree that natural sources of vitamins and minerals will no longer need to go through a complex, often prohibitively expensive safety evaluation process conducted by the European Food Safety Authority. This was going to be required to get the ingredients on to an allowed (positive) list. However, the European Commission has accepted now that natural sources of nutrients don’t need to be processed in this way and can simply be used in the same way any food ingredient can be used. There remains a compulsion on the manufacturer that the product is safe, just in the same way that a baker needs to be sure his loaf of bread is safe. This position is actually quite different from many EU Member States’ interpretations of the requirements and is the exact opposite of a position made by the legal unit of the European Commission over a year ago (the legal unit now being a signatory of the reconsidered position). </font></p><p><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Our press release on the European Commission’s altered position on natural sources of vitamins and minerals can be found at: </font><a href="http://www.alliance-natural-health.org/index.cfm?action=news&ID=288"><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">http://www.alliance-natural-health.org/index.cfm?action=news&ID=288</font></a></p><h3>Curdled milk or synthetic vitamins?</h3><p><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Dr Laibow refers to a quote from Gilbert & Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore: “Things are seldom what they seem, Skim milk masquerades as cream”. Having read her email, we would suggest that the milk has definitely curdled. Her confusion over natural and synthetic vitamins would be a clear example of ‘curdled milk.’ </font></p><p><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><strong>Dr Laibow says:</strong> “<em>Natural source nutrients are safe, beneficial and extremely important to the health of people eating modern industrialized foods and living in a toxic world.  Synthetic ingredients are not the same as natural ones, although our FDA has taken the unscientific position that they are the same</em>.”<strong> ANH says</strong>: we agree, generally, with Dr Laibow on this one point – although one might assume that her previous psychiatry practice would have been rather dependent on synthetic vitamins, which have been a staple in the field of orthomolecular medicine. However, in the context of what’s going in Europe, the key point is that the European Commission was, until our recent action, treating natural sources of vitamins and minerals in the same way as synthetic ones. This meant you needed to prove that the ingredient was safe—often a prohibitively expensive process—before it could be used in a supplement. Now natural sources of vitamins and minerals will be treated as foods, rather than as food supplement ingredients, where it is assumed they are safe as these natural sources of nutrients have been part of our food supply for many thousands of years. In our book, this is a real win for nature, for natural health and, of course, for health freedom. We can only think that Dr Laibow perceives it as a “nano victory” because she does not fully understand the facts of the case, as suggested by her own description of products on her e-commerce site (see below).</font></p><p><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><strong>Dr Laibow says</strong>: “<em>As an aside, the Natural Solutions Foundation feels so strongly about this that we provide an online store, </em></font><a href="AppData/Rob/Local%20Settings/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/OLK59/www.Organics4U.org"><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><em>www.Organics4U.org</em></font></a><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><em> , where you can access totally organic, all natural nutrients for yourself and those you care about</em>.” <strong>ANH says</strong>: we have reviewed Dr Laibow’s e-commerce site and immediately viewed a host of ingredients in products which appear to be synthetic in origin, rather than natural sources. We suggest that unless Dr Laibow can substantiate that all ingredients selling on her site, such as ascorbic acid, pyridoxine hydrochloride, sodium selenite, L-arginine, thiamine hydrochloride, hydroxycobalamin, folic acid and vanadyl sulphate (to name but a few) are “all natural” and not synthetic, Dr Laibow might have to accept that she has ‘curdled the milk’ and is confused over the differences between natural sources of nutrients and synthetic nutrients.</font></p><h3>Onwards and Upwards</h3><p><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">We hope that this mailing helps to clarify a situation that Dr Laibow and her organisation has muddied. Dr Laibow has previously asked ANH as well as other organisations and Codex experts to make her aware of inaccuracies in what she has said or published.  Despite several attempts at drawing her attention to specific examples of misinformation in her materials, she appears to have done little or nothing to rectify them. We therefore draw attention to this new incidence of inaccuracy publicly, in the hope that, in future, the Natural Solutions Foundation will begin to research its articles and speeches more carefully. </font></p><p><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">We are deeply committed to our work in helping to carve out a scientific and regulatory system that will allow for the expansion of natural health, so that it can ultimately become the rightful heir to mainstream healthcare. To this end, integrity and accuracy are two of our most important tools. On this occasion, we have felt compelled by the actions of the Natural Solutions Foundation to protect our integrity and the accuracy of information surrounding our recent legal activities on European food supplements.
