Hi Steve :-) I took Algin while I still had metal fillings in my mouth--and I feel it was - in a large part- responsible for helping me cope with mercury exposure in between each of my dental visits to have my 8 fillings replaced.
It's one of the things you can actually safely take to help sponge up mercury while you still have dental fillings in your mouth!
Hang in there- alot of us havn't seen your post yet- so you should also be getting more responses to this. This is the first time I actually got a chance to log onto Herb Allure in a few weeks- due to having to work over-time at my job!

I have been trying to get some response to my first post about Algin and found this. I need to know if anyone felt worse when first taking Algin. I feel fluish off and on and my head is feeling very full like pressure. Can this be from the Algin? Ann

Sunshine, Thank you for taking the time to put those links for me. I do have Andy Cutlers book although I can't understand half of it and I can never find anything of what I am looking for. He is all over the place. I have stopped the Algin. I didn't see it mentioned at all in Andy's book. I am wondering if my xanax withdrawal has caused problems in my intestines and this could be where my problems lie. I have been off xanax for a week now and am really having trouble. Thanks again for the post. Ann

Hi Ann. How u feelin’ now? Somewhat better now I hope. Russ also posted some of the research he found on algin, so make sure u check that out too. http://herballure.com/ubbthreads/sh...&sb=5&o=&fpart=1re Andy Cutler: The way he explains things is rubbish. The index is worse than rubbish. It is not YOU that has trouble understanding him, everyone does. However he is the only one that really gets mercury chelation, so it’s worth persevering with him. After a while, once you get your head around how he writes, it’s ok. I also didn’t get half of it either, so I have read the book 3 times in four months and I still find bits I missed. And it doesn’t help I didn’t take chemistry or physics at school, all those years ago.
