Sorry I have been gone so long guys, but I have bad news, my tumor marker has jumped up by over 300 points, so I guess the Gerson therapy is not for me. Maybe all the potatoes and juicing fed too much candida and cancer or maybe it was not strong enough for my type of cancer...whatever, it isn't working for me.

So after much soul searching and praying, I have decided to go for more chemo, I am not ready to call it quits yet, there is too much left for me to do. I have found another oncologist that will use a chemo that has no heavy metals and I am hoping that it will not give me those horrid hallucinations. Their is actually a choice of 5 I have to choose from. How about that, I get to pick!!!

So wish me luck, and I will be back soon with more news after my ct scan next week.

If you do the chemotherapy continue with the natural remedies too &overdose yourself on the Vitamin C.

Hi Sandi. I'm sorry to hear things aren't going well. Have you ever heard of immunics? Check out the site at immunics.org. It is something that I have been working with lately. They will give you a free username/password if you email them and ask for it. I find the website to be a bit overwhelming/confusing but it can be worked through. I say give it a shot.

Sandi, I have just come across this post and am so saddened to hear your situation after so much of what you have gone through with all this and do not know how you manage to keep your chin up, but somehow you do

Whatever it takes to control/beat this thing, do it. Is it a case of killing enough cancer, yet trying not to overdo the chemo to where it's compromising you too much so you are far too weakened? So somehow attempting to strike that medium?

I really would not know, just hazarding a guess. Whatever it is, I can only admire you for what you have gone through and how you have handled it. Keep us posted on how things go with this. Perhaps it's a combo of the natural and chemo at the sametime? Trying to do both and keep taking healthy supplements and eating good foods all the while?

I am feeling pretty good since my last chemo on Friday. And also I have been happily busy as my youngest son is here to visit me...and guess what, he has started doing the candida diet.

He read the book by my ND, "Eating Alive" and realized he has some of the "autistic-like" symptoms of metal toxicity...even though he has no fillings....but from the vaccines. Gluten and dairy intolerance, and sugar and alcohol too...he has cleaned his diet up wonderfully, and it certainly shows. Thank God he got the message while he is still young.

I'm very glad to hear that you are not feeling too bad since your last chemo! Thank goodness for that, must be a much better one than the other <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Good on your son for taking an interest in his own health and putting it into action, that's a rare thing! I hope he will reap the benefits for many years to come. He must be an intelligent and responsible person. It must be very difficult to see you go through this, but you are a very strong person and an inspiration. He's lucky to have a Mother like you!

Thanks Bex, you are an angel....my son is definitely a fine young man, he is only 23 and a pastry chef...how ironic hey? He says if he has to taste anything he will spit it out....what willpower and determination he has. He works at a ski resort at Lake Louise so he gets lots of exercise which is very important. But his bp is low, and I can tell his thyroid is suffering, so I am going to take him to my ND tomorrow and get him on some raw thyroid and iodine, that stuff did wonders for me. Have you read up on that?

And I am still hoping and praying for a miracle...thanks so much.
