The FDA Banned Mercury-Based Thimerosal
from over-the-counter preparations.
They say "Safety and effectiveness are not established". Unfortunately, many vaccines still contain Thimerosal.

Federal Register 63(77): 19799-19802, 22 April 1998, the FDA has banned the use of mercury and 15 of its compounds including Thimerosal and Mercurochrome, saying that "safety and effectiveness have not been established for the ingredients".

Thimerosal is a very popular additive in vaccines. It is used as a "disinfectant/preservative".

Other common additives include:

o phenol (carcinogen)
o formaldehyde (embalmant)
o aluminium (Alzheimer's)
o ethylene glycol (anti-freeze)
