The "studies" referenced in this mainstream media FAKE news piece is clearly nothing more than a pharmaceutical-industry attempt to counter the avalanche of information clearly showing mercury's connection with dozens of diseases, including autism.

I have to say I was skeptical until I watched this vid. My jaw dropped.

I think if you follow the money behind these studies, it will lead to the pharmaceuticals.

The fact of the matter is, word and studies are getting out about the dangers of mercury, with increasing knowledge and evidence and the fact the internet has been a great aid in getting word out all over the world, these people I guess are in a kind of panic mode and have gone now to the extreme of claiming benefits from mercury. This is probably one of the most deplorable things I have heard yet, considering how many parents are on autism forums desperate and wondering why their kids developed symptoms right after vaccinations....oh just a coincidence right? and why after chelation and treating pathogens, there is often slow but sure improvements...interesting that.

They go from trying to claim mercury in amalgam and now vaccines are not really harmful, to now stating "beneficial"..... This is how desperate they are to brain wash people into believing the stuff is ok, hoping to take the edge off the fact that many people now know that even in small amounts, mercury can be highly toxic....so now they claim it maybe good for us....wow, they really are trying the overload positive approach. This actually proves that more and more people are becoming aware and opting for biologic dentistry and getting rid of mercury out of their lives as much as possible and mercury free vaccines. This is not doing their cause or the drug companies cause much good I guess. What's their motivation behind trying to push the most toxic metal known to man (neurotoxic, even in a small amount can poison an entire lake and all its fish) as being "good"? hmmmmm. It's funny how mercury causes so many insidious symptoms, which often escape diagnosis, which then leads patients to have ongoing doctor's visits, ongoing medications, councilling for inexplicable depression and other symptoms like anxiety and never knowing what is wrong. How often they FEEL poisoned, but there is really no proof. They just go from one expensive trip to the doctor to another....how very convenient. What would these people do without mercury? What if mercury was gone out of these things....how would they cope then if people's health began to improve and there was less requirement for drugs to help their symptoms?

Hopefully in their eyes, this "mercury is good for you" bullsh*t approach, might help counteract the increasing proof and knowledge of what mercury is doing to us all in so many things that these people have exposed us! Vaccines, amalgams, etc etc. The list goes on. No, they cannot afford to make any admissions at all in regards to the dangers that this is posing to all of us, but now they've gone further and made their cover ups into blatant lies.

This is a shocker. What next I wonder? Telling people to get amalgams because they will actually help us!

Do you know what is really ironical? The 'medical watch' uses the mercury staff as their logo. And yes they seem to promote mercury toxicity... strange world...

This world is just so messed up!!! I guess that is one way to get out of the responsibility owed to so many sick kids and just makes it easier to keep poisoning them.

They said that mercury was good for babies in the 1940's and 50's and put it in teething powders -60% - to kill parasites which they thought was to blame for the discomfort babies were in during the teething process. There were already warnings by doctors in the 40's but it was ignored and 25% of the babies were dying. In the 50's they worked out that the babies were dying of dehydration, so they began to save some of them through saline drinks. During the 50's they were taken off the market, after many babies had been affected int he UK US and Australia. I was one of them and was in hospital for 6 weeks, pretty seriously ill with what they named it as 'Pink's Disease' due to the redness of the extremities which is a symptom of acute mercury poisoning. There is a support group in Australia for us but it is not active. The ones I have heard of have chronic health problems and some got their amalgams out. The leader of the group did. She improved a little but not enormously. She did not get a good bio-dentist though and another who became very ill did not either. As their were degrees of the damage done to the babies it is not possible to say whether I will be able to cope with it especially as I had another exposure to mercury from playing with it and then a pesticide exposure.

It looks like a conspiracy sometimes, to get the damn stuff into us <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

It's like (you know that expression) they are 'killing two birds with the one stone'
keeping people sick and having somewhere to store the toxic waste at the same time.

I can't add anything here that hasn't already been said, but this makes me feel sick and angry and chewed up inside. How DARE they say that mercury is safe for children, when I see the impact of my amalgams on my own children, and it isn't good. These are sick people who are promulgating lies - why are they doing this? To what end? Does it make them feel good at night or do they really believe these sick lies.

Everything is about money these days. Who benefits? Pharmaceutical companies make a lot of money out of chronically sick people.

Same here Nicola. Sorry if I sound negative or malodramatic, but there is a lot of evil in this world. It's the good people holding things together and giving eachother hope and ability to struggle on. They are the ones who keep me sane and help me to keep faith that there is good in this world and it's an ongoing battle against the bad.

Again it's summed up in one word "GREED". They pay homage to the mighty dollar <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/imnotworthy.gif" alt="" /> and propogate lies to keep it rolling in, causing great harm to their fellow man. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/skullandbones.gif" alt="" />

That is so scary, and makes me so sad. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> You try and try to convince people how bad mercury really is, and then they come out with something like that on the news, and people will dismiss everything you've said. So frustrating!!
