Today, we added a new forum called "Hyperacusis". Wikipedia defines Hyperacusis this way: "Hyperacusis is a health condition characterized by an over-sensitivity to certain frequency ranges of sound (a collapsed tolerance to normal environmental sound). A person with severe hyperacusis has difficulty tolerating everyday sounds, some of which may seem unpleasantly loud to that person but not to others."It is interesting to note that I had these symptoms when I was mercury toxic ( read my story). This fact causes me to consider whether Hyperacusis is related to mercury toxicity. Nevertheless, we hope this forum becomes active and helps people find the information they are searching for.

If I had to re-register.. It won't effect anything right??? Hi Russ, (((( Smiles ))))
Tell me what I'm doing wrong???? I'm just not sure... I deleted cookies and had to re- login in because of it, on another network I'm on.. Haven't had to do that in along time so I know it worked.. But it doesn't work here.. Why not?????? What do I try next.... Any suggestions will help... Anything else I need to get rid of or change on my computer.. To get back on the board again.. I'm at a loss on what to do next...
Thanks Lynn <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/help.gif" alt="" />

Or an articule on Soft Sound Sensitivity Syndrome... also called misophonia by others... One of these variations involves strong negative reaction to soft sounds, in particular, sounds associated with eating, breathing, speaking, or lip smacking. http://www.tinnitus-audiology.com/softsound.html
