Discussion of deletion policy implementation

I have a few questions about this.
If a conversation refers to pasts posts, how will we be able to check what was said if the posts are gone? And how will we be able to follow past conversations if pieces of them are missing? Several people were banned from a forum I belonged to a year ago but their posts are still there for these reasons.
How can we rest assured that the original meaning of the posts will come across if any parts of them can be deleted?
I have occasion sometimes to refer to a piece of scientific information passed on by RAZD or Russ2. The Grand Canyon thread is one I use. a) Presumably this information will now be removed? and b) Will this now mean that the original claims can be made all over again, without the original posters who presented the original information as a rebuttal?
I'm trying to understand the meaning of your icons -- does this mean that we are expected to laugh hilariously as we watch you use your new powers to remove information from here; and will we be banned if we don't?
Finally, what is a "banned entity"? How is an entity different from a person? And how do you define "pests"? Just thought I'd ask.
Thank you.

Oh I give up. I can't tolerate this. Russ, if you can't remove me, ban me. Get me the hell away from this insanity. It's what you want. Then CTD can edit my posts too and make it sound like I really do believe the earth is hollow and fairies live there. Have fun, it's a dream come true.

You seem to be confused about the policy. There have been no visits at all to the Grand Canyon thread by banned entities (and if you don't know what the word means, look it up.)
I do not even have a motive to edit your posts, so you're fooling yourself on that score bigtime.
At first I thought you wanted us to allow banned entities to keep posting, but my best evaluation is that you're paranoid about that which was posted prior to bans and prior to the time I began moderating.
You should give things a little more thought. Any post I edit will include time & date & who edited it. It is contrary to my interest to put such indicators on posts, when their contents speak so powerfully about the state of evolutionism and the conditions which result when one devotes oneself thereunto.
I assume these are difficult times for you, with the moles being exposed and entities being banned, and the end of the anything goes era. Your posts in this thread appear to be the result of a lot of emotion, and it might be better to remove them.
It might be a tad unorthodox, but if you'd like I can delete this topic. There just isn't much to discuss. By definition, banned entities are forbidden to post; so deleting such posts when they occur is just enforcement of the ban.
Under the circumstances, I won't be forwarding your request to Russ, although he may well chance to see it.

Not for the first time, I'm going to ask again that you answer my actual questions. You could have done so quite clearly and succinctly; I'm getting the idea that you are erasing posts made by a person after they'd already been banned -- is that right? In which case, there's only one person. When you said you were going to edit posts by "banned entities" I assumed it was playtime with all of the posts which had been written at any time by people who had been banned. Are you telling me no? And can you not at least tell me what you define as an "entity" and a "pest"?
I don't give a hoot what you do about me here and I don't give a hoot if Russ reads my post, I was talking to him in it. It would just be nice if you could make what you are saying clear for once, and without making any silly personal remarks. Can you?

Your questions didn't make sense vs. the actual policy. That's how I figured out you had misunderstood.
I have no idea how many people are involved, and it does not matter. When a banned entity attempts to post, such posts will probably be deleted. I rather preferred to keep the confession portions, but Russ may have another way of doing things.
I decline to spend my time providing definitions for commonly-used English terms. I shall not venture to guess whether you're trying to waste my time on general principle, or for more specific purposes. The policy should not yet concern you as you are not yet a banned entity. If you should be banned, I intend to enforce the rules.

I've never come across the term "banned entity," but never mind. I personally don't think it's very respectful to refer to someone as an "entity" or a "pest." So no I wasn't trying to waste your time, I was just trying once again to get you to answer a question, silly me.
I misunderstood your original post simply because you did not explain that you were only deleting posts written after someone was banned. Forgive me for not being surprised at the idea that you were going to delete RAZD's posts. If you want to construe that as paranoia it's your choice. I'm not allowed to use that word because it's slander.

You object to my use of the term 'pest' now? I'm not going to go out of my way to misconstrue things in order to be politically correct. It is quite clear that the entities in question desire to be pests. And if for some strange reason they don't like being called what they desire to be, I really don't give a hoot.
I am not surprised that you continue to voice support for such, but it's not going to accomplish much with me. It is rude to go where one is not welcome, to say the very least. My opinion of a person is does not improve when I see them support cowardice, rude behaviour, lies and such. I suspect I am far from unique in this regard. Shame on the world if I am not.

My opinion of a person is does not improve when I see them support cowardice, rude behaviour, lies and such. That's excellent. Then I'll expect to see none of the above from you. If anything happens to slip accidentally -- not that it will of course -- I'll remind you of what you said here.
