Does anyone know what else is low besides magnesium on a blood chemistry test when a person has mercury poisoning? Do you know what causes these deficiencies? ie: the mercury, heavy metals, or the candida? I know that I was deficient in potassium although I ate plenty of potassium-rich foods. Strangely, taking magnesium helped with the potassium deficiency.

i too was low on potassium. but eating a banana was the worse thing for my candida problem, so i'd make a potassium broth. Potassium Broth There are a lot of recipes floating around the web for this, and some of them sound pretty strange such as including 50 garlic cloves! Basically, what you want is a bunch of thick potato skins. The best part of the potato is the outer 1/2 inch. Scrub the skins well and peel with a knife, not a peeler, so you get thick peels. Throw into a big pot with enough filtered water so that all veggies are covered. Include chopped carrots, onion, a bunch of parsley, pinch or two of cayenne pepper or a jalapeno pepper, and if you have hair/skin/nails issues, add half a cabbage (this may give you gas, you can add cumin and powdered ginger to lessen the gas). Add celery if you need organic salt. Add as much garlic as you wish. Simmer gently on low heat for about 45 minutes than drink the broth all day, discarding the veggies.
