The letter said although they have offered several books in the line of Creation verses evolution theme,
they are convinced that this 374- page book is an exceptional source of vital information that will contibute to a broader understanding of this subject..

I did look up that site recently..
It's a good one and I don't think I've been there before.
I haven't recieved the New Answers Book 2 yet.
But I have ordered alot of books through this ministry before in the past.
I got the book Refuting Evolution by Jonathan Sarfati from them
and The Genesis Factor Myths and Realities by Ron J. Bigalke Jr.
as well.
But I've been looking through the Alien Intrusion book by Gary Bates lately..
Interesting reading as always..
And of course I really enjoyed Pastor Doug Batchelor's DVD as well..
I've watched him on TLN alot but just never got around to ordering any of his stuff..

ICR is arguably the "elder statesman" of creationist organizations. The RATE Project is probably one of the most interesting things they've done lately.

I don't have a link handy, but I read a good deal of a blog where evolutionists were "debating" some of the results. It was really funny to see them bringing up thing after thing after thing after thing after thing that could throw off evodating.

Thank you for your input on The Rate Project. I clicked on your Blue Title above and was most enightened by it's contents.

In my reading of the 'Institute for Creation Reasearch', I am 'blown away' by it's 'scientific evidence supporting Biblical truths'. Highly intelligent information, indeed!

I also was reading a few posts between you and Linda Lou, but got totally lost in what she was saying, actually. Not unlike Jeanie, they both were telling Russ to remove them from this Forum....then, we see that Russ shows them, that is something they do themselves...just as they signed up, they can go to their personal homesite, and remove themselves.

Thank you, CTD, for your stand in Truth. Bex is also a very intelligent school teacher and knows a great deal regarding Creation vs. Evolution.

“And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.” (Revelation 12:5)

This remarkable scene was part of a great vision given to the apostle John as the Lord was revealing to him “the things which shall be hereafter” (Revelation 1:19). He had seen an amazing “sign” in heaven—a woman “clothed with the sun . . . travailing in birth,” with “a great red dragon” awaiting the delivery and ready “to devour her child as soon as it was born” (Revelation 12:1-4).

Although the whole vision is richly symbolic, the figure of the man child clearly refers to Jesus Christ, because it is He alone who must eventually rule all nations “with a rod of iron” (Revelation 19:15). Thus, the symbolic “woman” must suggest His human mother, Mary, but also Eve, the “mother of all living” (Genesis 3:20), for in His human birth, the Son of God became also “the Son of man” (Acts 7:56; Revelation 1:13). The vision, in fact, dramatizes the long warfare between the great dragon (i.e., Satan—Revelation 12:9) and the seed of the woman (Genesis 3:15).

In the vision, the “man child” will have been “caught up” (i.e., “raptured”) to heaven, and the dragon and his angels “cast out” to earth (Revelation 12:5-9). But when Christ returns from heaven, all believers, living and dead, will also be “caught up” to meet Him in the air, and thus may well be included in the man child of the great “sign.”

There has been continuous warfare between the seed of the Serpent and the spiritual seed of the woman. The Dragon is forever “wroth with the woman” and with “the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 12:17). But Christ will finally prevail and cast Satan into the eternal lake of fire (Revelation 20:10).
