J.B. Handley: Autism is Preventable and ReversibleLKL Blog Exclusive by J.B. Handley, founder of Generation Rescue. J.B. will be our guest tonight on LKL, in addition to Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey.Jenny McCarthy’s son Evan no longer has autism. This is a very hard concept for most people to grasp, because the popular understanding of autism is that it’s lifelong. Quietly, a revolution of tens of thousands of parents around the world are standing firmly behind Jenny and using the same treatments to heal their children that she used to heal Evan. Not a day goes by where I don’t hear a story from a parent of their child’s dramatic improvement or complete recovery from autism using what we call “biomedical intervention.” In the 1940s, Autism was supposed to be a placeholder diagnosis, used until we had a better understanding of the actual physical issues that would define autism as a disease. Yet even today, a child is diagnosed based entirely on behavioral observation - there is no blood test or other way to test for it. Unfortunately, this has led to a level of inertia and acceptance amongst the mainstream medical community that many parents find unhelpful, if not unacceptable. “Autism is something you can’t really change, just learn to accept it” - that’s the message so many of us hear from our medical authorities. Imagine for a second being that parent of a child with autism and told that your child may never speak and that a lifetime of care is likely. You start to do your own research, and you happen upon our community, filled with hope, examples of recovery, and specific actions you can take to heal your child. What would you do? My one daughter has done so well and has been on the honor roll 7 times.. With my other daughter it hasen't been as good. She has regressive autism.. It's been that way for years.. Back and forth better then worse then better then worse but with improvement.. My other daughter has never been regressive like her sister. There autism is both different.. One was self abusive a head banger and screamer ect.. The other was in another world tuneing everything out and bouncing cards and toys on tables all day if she could.. She seemed more classic autistic to me. Not sure but.. My regressive one has had some progress but she reminds me of Mickies story. A betterment in some ways but not a success.. But we won't give up hope we will keep on trying. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRkAqL1fmJU

Interesting site, ((( Smiles ))) Good question... It is of public interest to ask, why thimerosal and dental amalgam, which both consists of about 50% of the most toxic nonradioactive element [16] and, in the case of amalgam, additionally of other heavy metals (eg. tin, copper, silver, zinc), have been used since 70 and 170 years, respectively, and, have been allowed to bypass governmental toxicological testing. http://www.crossroadsinstitute.org/newsletter/nlarticles/apr06/mercuryautism.pdf

Association of autism severity with a monoamine oxidase A functional polymorphism. http://gene.sfari.org/autdb/TableDetails.do?tableName=AUT_CANDIDATE_GENES&keyVal=MAOABrunner Syndrome: also known as MAO-A deficiency, this rare disease is well-studied. The deficient MAO-A (monoamine oxidase A) fails to mop up neurotransmitters after use. People with Brunner's syndrome are mildly mentally retarded and have extremely dangerous behavior swings in response to mood changes. It is very rare, causes mild mental retardation, and is X-linked. A related gene is under study for its role in stress and bipolar disorder.. Aggressive behavior and altered amounts of brain serotonin and norepinephrine in mice lacking MAOA. I tryed to start a new thread on this. But it would not submit on new topic. I wonder why some child improve so well and some don't. As autism is a symptom rather then a condition which I believe is mostly caused/triggered by heavy metal toxic exposures.. And then theirs aggressive types of autism.. Children can be different with autism. Some more mellow some not. Depends on ones biological makeup in relation to the cause. And what each autistic child may lack/need to improve.. Of what has been harmed. In their biological makeup.

It's associated with... Anxiety like behavior.. Restless leg syndrome, panic disorder, bio-polar affective disorder, implications for Norrie Disease, aggressive Behavior violence, delinquent behavior in adolescence and young adults. And we know also in Autism and ADHD.. Mercury can effect brain serotonin and cause aggressive behavior too.. This is interesting.. Got to read up more on this. ADHD Treatments.. http://adhd-treatment-options.blogspot.com/2009/03/adhd-gender-and-maoa-gene.html... Brunner's syndrome involves an MAO-A deficiency, .... or failure to distinguish autism from ADHD, obsessive compulsive disorder, ... Or OCD too.. http://linkinghub.elsevier.com/retrieve/pii/S0006322398003199Mutations in genes coding for monamine oxidase A (MAO-A), a mitochondrial enzyme which oxidizes 5HT, dopamine and norepinephrine.. http://neuro.psychiatryonline.org/cgi/content/full/18/1/86There is something that may be helpfull here in difficult to treat cases and relations to other like conditions.

Genes don't tell the whole story.. The biological complexity of life.. Turning genes on and off.. The triggers of what causes this process?? While they are looking toward the environmental causes.. I look toward the harm of injecting neurotoxic heavy metals and other substances into a baby then a toddler then a child and adult if they can convience one to do it. That it's completely safe to do so. But lots of people don't believe that to be true anymore. And here is two identical twins and look at the differences.. In them. Ghost in your genes..
