Hi, My Dr. did a hair analysis and stated I had VERY high levels of Mercury. He said he could test my body but felt it unnecessary. He gave me Mercurius viv. and said to start taking it now and also after two fillings were removed. What is this product and is it safe to take? Will it help with detox as stated? I should also say I have many strange symptoms including seizures/headaches which they can find no cause. I had 2 previous fillings redone w/o the silver. The dentist at that time asked if I wanted silver or the new plastic version. He stated that the mercury concerns were unfounded, but I chose the white color as it matched my teeth. My daughter went in and needed a filling on her baby tooth and they used the silver stating she was going to loose it anyway. Now I am concerned that I should also get hers removed instead of waiting 2 yrs. for it to fall out? I strongly suspect my chest pains, dizziness, pressures on the sides of my head, and occasional aggression and forgetfullness are linked to the fillings in my teeth, but how can I be tested for mercury poisoning? I've felt so rotten, for so lon, and have run back and forth to doctors i.e., neurologists, urologists,..and nothing appears wrong from their perspective. Yet, I am absolutely suffering at times, frequently tired, and more frustrated as to not know what is causing all of this. I also get pressures o the end of my fingers on occasion. My appetite is generally OK.

You can request a "DMPS challange" to test for mercury.

Problem is, it can mobilize mercury and redistribute it. Some get sick during the test. I didn't.

And because the symptoms will switch to various areas of my body,...like say, the chest pains, then the sides of the head and "pressures",and dizziness behind my eyes, then the teeth themselves sometimes, and then even to my prostate area, it is baffling to me that standard blood tests haven't turned up anything.

I am also thinking about getting a "spinal tap", because my nervous system is affected by this also. Not that anything will show up there, but I'm going to try it. I truly long for the days when I felt healthy.

I have read much conflicting data on MSM. I still have my fillings in my mouth. Are you saying MSM is OK after amalgam removal only when concurrenly taken with a Mercury Binder? If so, what mercury binders do you reccomend?

I got sick within hours when taking MSM (within a weeks after my removal (2000). When I cut the dose in half, the symptoms declined to about half and when I went off it completely (just a few days later), the symptoms went away by the next day.

I have read research about the interactions that take place between mercury and sulphur, and root canals and the bacteria that usually reside below them.

Although sulphur is very important in the body, I believe that you have to be careful with it if you're mercury toxic.
