Evidence-based science

scientific
I am sick and tired of people telling me that those who question the safety and effectiveness of vaccinations are unscientific! Let me state it here quite plainly - and I challenge anyone who does not agree to contact me and be sent a list of references that will take them years to go through - there are mountains of peer-reviewed papers which demonstrate that the very basis of vaccine theory is wrong and provably so.

Vaccinations have been built on a house of cards and the winds of change are blowing strongly now - the house is starting to crumble.
Like anyone who has spent such a huge amount of both time and money erecting a massive structure, those who were involved in the construction are doing anything they can to keep it standing.

But shore it up and buttress it as they may, it is time and more than time for evidence-based science to demonstrate that when it comes to preventing infectious diseases (and other non-infectious diseases which vaccines will soon be targeting such as cigarette smoking, cocaine addiction, alcohol addiction, etc.) there is a great deal of evidence which shows that antibodies on their own can not and do not equal immunity.

There are two theses that I would like you to read and forward. We have posted them onto the AVN's web site so you can download them. The first one, written by Judy Wilyman whose poster and letter were featured in the last edition of our enewsletter, concerns the government's vaccination policies. It contains years of scientific research into how ineffective the whooping cough vaccination really is and why it is nothing short of madness to continue to claim that ever- higher levels of whooping cough vaccination will lead to a decline in this disease which is patently not prevented by the vaccine.

The second is the PhD thesis of a researcher from Tasmania named Arlette Mercae. It is an in-depth look at the way in which assumptions made about vaccine-induced immunity have led to a vaccination policy which is not based in science, ignores research that disagrees with the accepted premise that vaccines induce immunity and, by pushing ahead with more and more vaccines, may be doing untold damage to the human race.

Both of these papers take bold and intelligent looks at the ethics of how government policy is formed when it comes to this issue; why information is ignored or suppressed and how the science has been manipulated and corrupted to force policy to fit need without proof that need will be filled by policy.

They are long and will take some getting through, but are well worth the time and trouble.

In addition to reading these papers, I believe that they deserve much wider distribution. Please consider emailing copies to the Federal Minister for Health's office and asking that one of Nicola Roxon's advisors read through them and respond. Also send them to your state Minister for Health - the Shadow Ministers would be good too. Send to friends, family members, doctors and other health professionals. This is the information they need to look at. They want to do the best thing for their patients and those they care about - but they need to be fully-informed to succeed in that goal.

Petition to oppose mandatory Swine Flu (AH1N1) vaccination
Michael Bending of Alliance for Health Freedom Australia has a petition against mandatory swine flu vaccination on his site, he is aiming for 100,000 signatures and has only just posted it so there are less than 100 so far.

We need as many health-wise people to sign this petition and send the message to Rudd and Roxson that mandatory vaccinations are TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

The link is:

Please pass this on to as many as possible.

FDA Approves H1N1 Flu Vaccines
The Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday approved vaccines designed to protect against the H1N1 influenza virus, a key step before starting a vaccination campaign. The approval was announced by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius at a hearing that was held by the House Energy and Commerce Committee. An FDA spokeswoman said the agency approved vaccines made by a unit of Sanofi-Aventis SA, Novartis AG, CSL Ltd. and AstraZeneca PLC's MedImmune unit.

Ms. Sebelius said a large-scale vaccination program will begin in mid-October.

Doctor Says Flu Vaccine Will Cause 60,000 Deaths In France

Dr Marc Girard, a specialist in the side effects of drugs and a medical expert commissioned by French courts, has said on French TV that the "swine flu" vaccine could cause 60,000 deaths in France, especially among young people, children and pregnant women. He also said that the people promoting the "swine flu" vaccine are doing so because they have links with the pharmaceutical company.

The problem with the "swine flu" vaccine is that it is not just "badly developed" but "not developed", he said, adding that it is being prepared in conditions that endanger the public health.

"A vaccine is being developed in conditions of amateurism such as I have never seen. Let's take the pessimistic hypothesis: one death among every 1000 patients. There are plans to vaccinate 60 million people, and you so you already have 60,000 deaths, and this time, young people, children, pregnant women."

A Brief History of Government Immunisations
As the start of the federal government's most ambitious vaccination program approaches, it is worth taking a second look at the history of similar campaigns in the past. Since most of the media and government health officials constantly laud vaccine successes, this article will dwell more on the stories that are not as widely disseminated.

The results of many past mass inoculation efforts have been severely criticized, and are cited by some health experts as another reason for, at the very least, exercising extreme caution. In addition to outright catastrophes that are attributed to vaccines and government mandates, some medical experts say the benefits are dubious at best.

The Girls of Gardasil: Brittney's Story
Recently, Gardasil researcher Dr. Diane Harper spoke out against the vaccine, warning parents to decide whether the risks are worth it. For many families, the adverse effects of this shot have changed their lives.

This is the start of a series sharing the stories of these brave families.

Here is the story of Brittney Fiste, as told by her mother Roxie

GPs to be paid £100m for giving swine flu jabs to high-risk groups
Family doctors will be paid more than £100 million to give swine flu vaccines this winter after a deal was brokered with the Government worth £5.25 for every dose.

The agreement with the British Medical Association was reached yesterday after lengthy negotiations over how much GPs will be paid for administering the jabs.

The programme is due to start next month, subject to licensing. More than 13 million people in high-risk groups and the health service will be asked if they want the vaccine. Those in high-risk groups include pregnant women and people with asthma and diabetes. The deal covers vaccine for 11.5 million people, while 2 million health workers will be immunised through their workplaces.

New Adjuvant Could Hold the Future of Vaccine Development
Scientists at Oregon State University have developed a new "adjuvant" that could allow the creation of important new vaccines, possibly become a universal vaccine carrier and help medical experts tackle many diseases more effectively.

Adjuvants are substances that are not immunogenic themselves, but increase the immune response when used in combination with a vaccine.

However, due to concerns about safety and toxicity, there's only a single vaccine adjuvant - aluminum hydroxide, or alum - that has been approved for human use in the United States. It's found in such common vaccines as hepatitis B and tetanus. But even though widely used, alum is comparatively weak and will only work with certain diseases.

The new adjuvant is based on nanoparticles prepared with lecithin, a common food product. In animal models, it helped protein antigens to induce an immune response more than six times stronger than when alum was used. Researchers also showed that the lecithin nanoparticles were able to help induce a reasonable antibody response after only one shot, whereas it took at least two shots for the alum adjuvant to work.

Girl faces deportation over vaccine
An adopted teen who has lived in Port St. Joe, Fla. since she was 3 faces possible deportation to England for refusing a vaccination, she and her mother say.

Simone Davis, 17, said she has no need for the vaccine Gardasil, which guards against the sexually transmitted human papillomavirus virus, because she is not sexually active, ABC News reported.

But the U.S. government requires female immigrants between the ages of 11 and 26 to receive Gardasil shots before they can become citizens.

FDA committee recommends boys and men get HPV vaccine
If a vaccine that prevents human papillomavirus infections gets approved for use in males, James Peterson plans to tell patients it can do more than protect them.

"As I discuss it and phrase it with young men and parents, I think what we'll be talking about is the potential to protect future partners," said Peterson, a family practice doctor with Foothill Family Clinic in Salt Lake City.

A Food and Drug Administration advisory committee recommended on Sept. 9 that the vaccine Gardasil be given to males ages 9 to 26 to prevent genital warts caused by the virus. A final decision from the FDA is expected by the end of the year.
